Man that brings back memories... I'm starting to understand the hype with the NES mini now. It's like holding your childhood.

Looks cool. I'd like to see some close ups of the much nicer looking European version.

Can't feel the nostalgia as I never had th US version. I'll really feel something when I see the EU one!!

Still no preorders in the U.S. I am now quite certain that I'll never get one.

@thor27 the front piece folds down, revealing the actual controller ports underneath the old style ports (which are just cosmetic.)

I've already put in a PTO slip for the 29th. I'm planning on camping out at Best Buy all night to ensure that I snag one!i know that it sounds ridiculous, but the snes is my all time favorite console, and this thing has about 90% of the games that I would want for it (Final Fantasy VI sealed the deal for me).

Got one pre-ordered thankfully. Well the pal/Australian version, good thing too the American Snes looks like an old fax machine or whatnot

@Kalmaro exactly! I had the NES when I was in 8th grade and played through several games like Zelda and Metroid, no internet guides. Had a SNES and basically every other console produced since. I traded in all my old stuff back then, something I regret terribly now but can do nothing about. For me this is like getting all that stuff back. It's pretty awesome.

@MoonKnight7 I have a little faith that Nintendo means business when they say they are making significantly more than they did the NES. I'm getting one, hopefully at retail. Pretty sad how bad the internet has how made the scalping problem.

I hope that Nintendo will think of those who already bought the Switch
having all SNES Mini Classic games on the virtual console in a packaged offer would be nice

I agree, though I don't necessarily blame the internet, but Nintendo for brain farting so badly with the NES. The precedent is set, and now matter how many more they make of the SNES, the scalpers will be out in full force, cause they know it's limited and a hot product. Nintendo made their own bed with this before it even started. "For the fans" indeed.

@MoonKnight7 definitely agree, hoping stores limiting one per customer will help slow it down. I've seen images where ppl had 50 of the nes ready to sell. I only need one lol. If I need more than one I'll buy from 2 places. The harder it is for scalpers the better the chance ppl that want them can have a chance to get em.

I got the nes classic off of ebay for just under $200 earlier this year. It came modded with 90 games and an extra controller, but still expensive. I also bought a Switch on the day it came out. Not interested in this one yet, I'll pass. One more for you guys to have.
