It's amazing how many people don't like Dunkey just because he made fun of their favourite game.
Personally, I have a lot of respect for him. When he's serious and when he's joking around, he's never afraid to say what he really thinks about a game. Which isn't the impression I get from larger gaming news/review outlets like IGN, Eurogamer and Nintendolife. And get this, I still think this even though he made fun of my favourite game.
This announcement does strike me as a bit odd though. Why announce a publishing company if you don't yet have any games to publish?
I vaguely remember having a C64 when I was a wee nipper. I remember playing some golf game and Chase HQ on it. But my first clear memory of gaming is Sonic the Hedgehog on my trusty Megadrive. Still got that copy of the game, still got that original Megadrive.
@Kiz3000 I don’t think that’s true at all. If you buy a game as an NFT, the publisher is under no more obligation to keep that game available for download as they are if you’d bought it off steam or the eShop. If it gets delisted, your NFT becomes useless. All you “own” is proof the transaction took place.
It’s literally the same system we already have, but with extra steps in between that are terrible for the environment.
NFTs are a solution in search of a problem. And I think that’s being generous.
I've been waiting for this for ages. Too long in fact, I bought it on GOG last year. It's a fun game, kind of like OutRun 2's drifting gameplay with OutRun 1's presentation.
It took me a little over 300 hours to 100% it (with all the DLC too). I did use a guide for the Korok seeds, but you won't catch me feeling bad about that.
I'm looking forward to hearing from Pokemon fans as to why this is the worst game ever, has been dumbed down for mass appeal and has graphics comparable to Atari Jaguar. And why they're going to boycott it only for it to go on to sell 25 million copies.
Yeah yeah, screw NFTs etc... Does anyone else find that SEGA eye image off-putting? If that's a reflection of what the eye is seeing, then they're looking at a mirrored SEGA logo. That's all I can think about when I see it, lol.
Contrary to most, I’m glad it’s over. I can’t be doing with all the wild, meaningless speculation. And seeing some people get upset/angry when it doesn’t turn out how they wanted/hoped. It’s a bit depressing tbh. Don’t care about Sora, but I’ll give him a go when he releases. Probably more excited about Doomguy Mini costume tbh.
@RupeeClock I don’t know about your experience, but for me, I’ve had a couple of payment issues upon dispatch with Nintendo UK and they’ve worked out just fine. It might depend on your bank/card.
I was already in the middle of a Samus Returns play through when Dread was announced. So I’ve been going through the rest since. Zero Mission, Super and I’m currently on Fusion. One of my very favourite series
Game looks great, but I’m a bit disappointed it’s just a remake. And a pretty straight forward remake from what I have seen. I probably won’t be buying it as I’ve got the original games, I can just play those if I want some Advance Wars action. I would highly encourage anyone who hasn’t played the series to get this though. Two of the best strategy games ever made IMO.
Oh. Just read up on it, it’s a fan translation of the PSP version. Bit weird for Nlife to write about it like it’s an official translation, but I’ve got a modded PSP so I’ll look forward to it all the same
They could have doubled, no, quadrupled these numbers had they actually released the game everyone is asking for; Metroid Prime: Federation Force 2. Amateurs.
I can’t believe how many hours I’ve poured into it already. Literally, I can’t believe it. I work long hours, I don’t think I’ve even had 80 hours spare since it came out but that’s what the game timer says.
Love Densha De Go. I've imported every main game release from Japan. Even a few of the special controller. But I'm so broke at the moment, I can't afford this one
I’m surprised the hunting horn was so popular. I always used long sword in 4U, but I think insect glave is going to be my main for Rise. Along with a bit of switch axe. Super looking forward to this game
@MattAllsopp if I recall correctly, there was a small patch shortly after release that fixed a couple of minor bugs. Performance is still total jank though.
To those asking, Disaster Report 4 is an objectively bad game. Bad graphics, performance, controls, design and localisation. But there is something totally unique about it that makes it worth playing. I bought the special edition for £80 and don’t regret it (but then, I’m a fan of the series).
If you’re ever in the mood for something different and see it on sale, go for it.
I’d go for this. Recently beat FFVII on Switch (I’ve been trying to beat that game for 20+ years). Wouldn’t mind a physical edition to give FFVIII a crack.
The only two I need to complete my Zelda amiibo collection are Smash series Link and Ganondorf. It’s a shame that amiibo are pretty much a dead product now. I’ve enjoyed collecting them.
Metacritic Might as well do away with the ten point scale for user reviews. It’s always either a 10, from the mindless fanboys, or a 0, from the tantrum throwing man children.
His scores and ability to set them has never been in question. They were removed because he has been proven to have cheated on at least one occasion. If Guinness want to reinstate his legit scores, that’s their prerogative. The guy is still a proven cheater.
How did Sega get it so right with the Mega Drive mini, but so wrong with this Game Gear mini. If it had a decent number of games I would definitely buy one.
If each one had all 16 games it, it'd still be a rip off. I think this is aimed at collectors rather than anyone who actually wants to play some Game Gear games.

Re: Inti Creates' New Project Is A Stunning Mash Up Of Castlevania And Mega Man
It looks like every other inti game. A well made, if unremarkable 16 bit throwback.

I’ve made it a point to buy ALL the DLC for this game. Despite not being all that much into Smash. I am my own worst enemy and Nintendo’s best friend.

No way! I’ve always wanted to play this series. But it’s so text heavy, importing any of them was always completely pointless.
