Can't say there's much I'm excited for. I will probably still get StarFox Zero, Fire Emblem Fates, and Xenoblade Chronicles X, but I can't say I'm greatly looking forward to them as I used to be. Zelda U is so far the only must-have game from the list, and Nintendo didn't even talk about it (and I'd argue it shouldn't be on this list)

I may get Super Mario Maker and Yoshi's Woolly World eventually, but I doubt it. Everything else is going to need heavy convincing to get me to buy it. And look at what an utter disaster SMT x FE looks to be...

@DBPirate Exactly, I believe they did something similar in Kid Icarus Uprising. (though it's been a while since I used its online ) I think it was 3v3 battles (not unlike Blast Ball...) and one player would be Pit or Dark Pit.

I don't know much about the Metroid Prime Hunters games, but I also don't see why they couldnt just use those characters to be selectable. Either way, the Federation troops look very ugly and bland so far.

Well we know that the word at the bottom of the minigame screens say Nintendo... Perhaps some characters could be decoded from that.

Sounds good, there are more NES Mega Man games I still haven't played, and this would be a lot more costly than buying them on the eShop.

Would prefer this to come to Wii U, but 3DS or PC could work for me.

I've always had a small interest in the mystery dungeon games but have never really played one. This looks decent but I dont really have anything to compare it to. (Though I didnt like the Gates to Infinity demo)

Yes, this is awesome! This one should be even better than the first. I really wanted Phoenix/Maya to be added, and I'm glad X is back. But where's Zero?

@Artwark: No, this game really isn't anything like FE. In between turns it's similar to FE but the combat is more like a fighter. I recommend checking out the demo on eShop if it's still there.

@DarthNocturnal @EmmatheBest: I think when they made the first one, they only wanted to use more humanoid characters, so no Sonic, Tails, Klonoa, Pac-Man, etc. We got Mega Man X, but no classic Mega Man, so that could draw the line at how "humanoid" they wanted them to be. Opa Opa was the only non-humanoid but that was just a cameo.

What if somebody out there made amiibo voodoo dolls with these... Yikes!

When this comes out to the West I'll definitely try it out. It's still not good incentive for someone who's uninterested in amiibos, but as someone who's actively collecting them, this is a fun bonus!

To everyone requesting Sonic, Pac-Man or etc: They said that they wanted to use humanoid characters only.

I'm glad to see that Dante has Vergil as a partner now, but I'm hoping that Demitri didn't completely get the boot. Maybe they'll pair him up with Morrigan and Chun-Li will have a new partner, maybe Cammy!

And I'm glad that Yuri is back, but I'm disappointed that they cut Estelle in favor of Flynn.
