All Amiibo collectors looking for a good way to store their trophies are in luck.
Play Asia has posted a listing for an amiibo Clear Case. The HORI created case is comprised of a shallow stand, deep enough to fit the Amiibo disk, and a clear, square covering case to show off the various fighters in style.
The case is available in two sizes, standard and large. Large will be needed to fit the plastic giants that are Bowser and King Dedede. The cases will be available 21 May 2015 - the standard will be $9.99USD with the large putting you back $14.99.
The cases are coming just in time, with the next wave of amiibo coming 29 May. This new series will include Super Smash Bros. characters such as Charizard, Ness, Greninja, and the three Splatoon figures.
Will you pick up a clear case? Which future amiibo are you most excited to try and hunt down?

Seems pretty silly the case
Seems pretty expensive for a single case. If I was going to memorialize my amiibo collection, I would want one trophy case to fit many Amiibo, rather than display just one single.
They're almost the price of the amiibo itself. I see no point in getting one, to be honest.
@Icarus423
That would be pretty cool, actually. Of course, it would still depend on the price.
Pricey!
If you're keeping them for collector purposes then they stay in their original packaging. If you're using them to play with then I don't see the point of the display case.
It's nice, but not really worth it IMO. But to each their own I guess.
You're going to need a case for all those cases!
Wow that is hell of expensive! Was hoping for a $4.99 at the most kind of thing.
What I would like to see is the little variable-height plastic stands that Nintendo used when initially unveiling Amiibo. They would be a great way to show them off. And can't be expensive to produce, either.

At that price, I'd rather just buy another of each amiibo and keep them in their original boxes.
I like, but I wish they fit the Amiibo Box.
@GH05T
There is a kickstarter project exactly for that, Nintendo Life reported on it a while back.
A little high but it is play asia. DI has cases like that as well. They are just hard to find.
eBay should come out with one.
Not interested. Yesterday I finally opened one of my amiibo and when debating if discarding the package I removed the back and ended up with just the plastic part, making it look like this.
yeah I'm gonna need at least ten of these
Nice but expensive. I'll just stick to the amiibo's original box.
@hylian-pudding actually that's Play-Asia over pricing them. Amiami has them for $7-$9
@Vineleaf Ebay or the greedy scalpers on Ebay who consume stock for profit!
damn them! if it wasn`t for them there would be MORE figures available.
They look nice, but not 10$ nice. But this is more in the direction of what I'm hoping to see at some point.
@Espy
Yeah, this would be nice.
Any amiibo I'm planning on collecting, are staying in their original packaging anyway, which kinda serves itself as a "display case". I wouldn't mind some of those plastic collector cases on kick starter though, the ones that encase the entire box.
But yeah, I do need a nice place to keep my Marth, Pikachu, Fox, and Lucario. I might buy one or two of these things. HORI makes good stuff.
This is clearly a rip-off.
$10-15!?
Haha no, I could use that money towards more Amiibo that I have no chance at getting.
A funny thing is that my Pit amiibo is a small, light little guy, but his bow makes him the tallest amiibo(I think) so he'd need a large case.
I really like them!!
Can I please ask Nintendo Life readers from America, Please?
Are the Super Mario amiibo's available in the USA? My wife and I are going to New York soon and I would love to bring a few back with us, I'm just wondering guys...
Either that or I will settle for the new range of Nintendo figurines in Nintendo World, NYC!!
I'm tempted to get the case for my Stars n Stripes Mario Mod.
Will the new mario party amiibo fit? Peach is pretty tall IMHO.
@StarDust4Ever Peach Super Mario Series amiibo will need the large case.
@TruenoGT you just gave me a great DIY project i could try out with my collectables! Thank you! lol
What I want is tiered stands to display them on. They'd look a lot better on my shelf if they were in a tiered display.
I'm loving all these splatoon icons
