@ChromaticDracula I checked out if it was the same game, but the 2001 game is actually a 2D version more similar to the classic Bomberman games from Game Boy. Hope this helps you and the others 😊
@ChromaticDracula Another thing I remember is that to use (or save your appearance) it required one of those memory expansion packs that were attached to the N64.
There were two versions of Bomberman 64? I thought there was only one. Now I don't know which is the one I played. I just remember playing the Story Mode and a multiplayer game where I had to beat the other Bombermans to win. I also recall seeing costumes which could be obtained in the story.
Zelda BotW. Got the Master Sword before facing any of the divine beast, but I only got it so I don't have to waste my shrine guardian weapons against Guardian Stalkers to obtain Ancient weapons (and armor) from Robie. I prefer exploring and continuing the story without farming excessively. Still love this game. Also obtained Revali's Gale.
I may later continue playing Fire Emblem Awakening since I have some Mad King that needs to be stopped from destroying Ylisse.
The NA/EU cover because it reflects the game atmosphere more. This entry was about being in the enemy territory from the beginning (the ship is the Gangplank Galleon, which appeared in the first game).
@AmplifyMJ Keep throwing him until he gets launch to the bomb's. Apart from that, try to memorize the timing of the spin and the throw until you get an idea of when to release the throw.
6 out of 15 with the first question being the only one I knew. The others were mainly guesses. For a strange reason, when I accidentally used back due to selecting something wrong and then use the home button on the site, I was able to start the questions again when I entered the question poll. Needless to say that I got a 15 out of 15 😂 Life (or a glitch) give me a second chance I couldn't resist 😆
Well, there are 4 more character slots, so perhaps they they will put other requested characters that will appeal more to the ones that don't like Steve. I alredy got most of my favorites characters so one character that don't appeal to me isn't going to ruin my Smash experience.
I have been so immersed with Fire Emblem Awakening that I don't think I'll play any of the Switch games 😅 Perhaps Donkey Kong Country 2 at some point.
One of my favourite RPGs series despite only having two games, but it's a relatively new franchise that started in 2013 (or somewhere before or after that year), so it's only natural.
So basically Nintendo confirmed they will keep innovating with their consoles, just like they do with most of its games. Next Switch will have magnetic Joycons but that's not all. It will have sold-separately special glasses that will fusion VR and 3D which will be playable anywhere, anytime
I suspect this has to do with Disney being mad at Nintendo for choosing Universal as their partner for, you know, the Super Nintendo Theme Park instead of choosing the mouse company.
Not to mention that Disney wanted to have Mario in the Whreck-It-Ralph movie but he didn't make an appearance because certain reasons (some say is because they weren't allowed to make Mario talk and that make it difficult, but we don't know what is the true).
That's nice! I will buy the 3D Collection but don't know whether to buy it physical or digital. I have lately enjoyed starting up games without having to switch between cartridges. What's certain is that I will need a 256GB Micro SD Card, possibly before the end of the year 😅
Though I don't like the delay, I will still buy the Switch version because I like switching between handheld and docked mode. That and since there is a possibility of a "Switch Plus" in 2021, I will wait instead of buying a PS4 just for this game.
@Big_Nook Trust me I won't. Sadly the same cannot be said about Tanabe, which seems like he is unable to said no to him, or even able to find a good medium point between his vision and the costumers preferences.
Thankfully I now have 2 RPGs that have fill me with joy. The Bravely series that has a new game coming this year, and the Ys series, which its 9th game is coming in 2021 to Nintendo Switch (don't know if it's on other versions. Still will buy it for Switch).
That being said I wish Nintendo put other people in charge of Mario Story (PM's japanese name) instead Tanabe because according to this interview, he is only listening to Miyamoto's vision without thinking in the consumer. Or at the very least divide the franchise and let either Monolith or even a Square Enix team to be directing the Story series game, while Tanabe can continue the Paper version.
I didn't mention the FE team (I mean the ones who were in the first two/three games) because they may not want to be involved in the franchise after how restricted it has become. Heck, even Fuji Baiashi (Zelda BotW director) will do a better job since he is not afraid of Miyamoto, like he has done in past games (check some YouTube videos about Fuji Baiashi if you don't know what I mean).
As the previous week, I am playing Ys VIII Lacrimosa of DANA (yes, her name is full caps in the title screen). Despite not being as good as the PS4 or PC version, I like how you can play on TV or on the go quickly thanks to the Switch.
I hope it's better than the first one, though it will depend on my tastes. I only want to know about Bravely Default 2. Edit: I guess I have more time to buy AAA third party games that were announced a few years ago on Switch.
I have been playing Ys VIII more as of late. I want to continue playing Octopath Traveler, but I'm engaged with Ys. My 8 travelers will have to wait for their stories to continue 😅
More Octopath Traveler Finally have 7 of the 8 jobs. I will get the dancer job once I have 4 characters in level 34-35 (that area has a higher level than the other 7 shrines).
Already cleared one chapter 2 (Tressa), now I'm in the beginning of Primrose's chapter 2. I think I'll tackle the stories from lowest level to highest so that I don't have one or two characters underleveled.
More Octopath Traveler. Since I play mainly 2 to 3 hours a day while taking my time reading every dialog, I am still completing the first chapter of the 8 characters. Now I only need to complete Therion's and Alfyn's beginning chapters to have all 8 characters.
As I didn't have a Wii U, I feel that this year has been poor so far. I have no interest in Animal Crossing, I don't like Paper Mario because I only like true RPGs and we don't know if the 3D Mario Collection is real.
The only new game I am looking forward is Bravely Default 2. Edit: I also want to buy Tokyo Mirage Seasons FE Encore but that's only two new games (I didn't have Wii U) for 2020 for me.
Since a few days ago, I have been playing Octopath Traveler. I really like the music of this game. Looking forward to see a sequel announcement after Bravely Default 2 is released, which is another game I plan to buy.
@SmileMan64 If what Shuntaro said about "...I expect to said that needs to to be said to run the company." is true, then there's still some hope that he demands that the series return to being rpg.
They perhaps are looking for an idea that he can use for multiple games, while being something that sells decently. Though the question is, what game or idea will Miyamoto likes enough that catches his attention?
@PipeGuy64Bit In Japan there's a cultural believing that the elder age have a higher status than someone like Tanabe that looks like 40-50 years. So I wouldn't discard the possibility of they agreeing with Miyamoto due to his status of age.
Regarding Luigi's Mansion 3, I think they returned because either Miyamoto approve it (its unusual but sometimes he does approve, like with Mario + Rabbits) or because what Shuntaro Furukawa said about Miyamoto. From what I remember he said "Now here's a producer I have a lot of respect name Shigeru Miyamoto. Unfortunately that just can't be it, so I expect to said what needs to be said to run the company". That quote can be see in a YouTube video of Arlo.
While I will play it single player 90% of the time, I was looking forward to play it with my cousins in person whenever the opportunity comes. Don't know if I'll purchase it on release day.
I think the best solution is to separate the Paper Mario series into two. One that continue the RPG route like the first two games and another that continue Miyamoto's vision. That way everyone can be happy. Nobody expected Metroid Prime 4 to happend, yet it got revealed and later they revealed Samus Returns so who knows. There is a chance they separate the series.
I would like to see a Donkey Kong + Rabbits game since we may not have a new Donkey Kong Country game. At least not until Retro Studios complete Metroid Prime 4. Would like to see Diddy, Dixie and Cranky being playable and Beep-0 due to his/her personality.
I'll focus on playing Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition. Although I am still in the Great Sea map of Adventure Mode, I played the first stages of other maps to unlock Marin and Ravio.
I think I'll continue playing Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition and more later Zelda Phantom Hourglass. I have been thinking about playing Megaman X Command Mission, so perhaps that will soon be my next game.
Have been switching between playing Zelda Phantom Hourglass and Hyrule Warriors. On Zelda P.H. I am about to get the item that let me enter the third dungeon. On Hyrule Warriors I am leveling up a few characters, while getting the level 2 weapons of the Wind Waker Map.
If I didn't started playing Phantom Hourglass, I will most likely have burned out of playing too much Hyrule Warriors 😅
Even though they are using a similar artstyle to Pokemon, I like most of the starters (with Trebly and Mara being my favorites). I think it is good that people are trying to make a creature-collecting game. I hope they continue making until they make a game that standout. Some people improve over time, so who's to say these guys can't get better.
And if not them, then I hope others follow up on trying to create a good/excellent monster-collect game.
A day late, but I have continue playing Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition. This morning I beat the story of Legend Mode, though I still need a few Pieces of Hearts and Heart Containers. Then this afternoon I played Zelda Phantom Hourglass on N3DS. Got to say, I would like to see this game received a remake that makes it play like Wind Waker, plus add more islands and sidequests.
There's so much potential in this sequel that was limited by the hardware of the DS. I certainly welcome a 3D Toon Zelda series always focuses on sailing the seas (and obtaining boat pieces like in Phantom Hourglass). Of course, adding new items in each game.
I'll continue playing Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition. Have reached the final story of Legend Mode where we have to find Cia. In Adventure Mode, I have finally unlocked all the characters of the Adventure map, plus two characters of the Wind Waker map (Tetra and King Daphnes). I'll continue leveling up some characters while I continue clearing the Adventure map.
I have been mainly playing Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition ever since I bought it on the e-shop. The music of this game is quite good. My favorites so far are The Valley of Seers and the remixed version of the Skyloft. I like how they implemented the items of TLoZ into the Warriors fighting style. Really hope Nintendo let Koei Tecmo made a sequel.

Zelda Breath of the Wild and Fire Emblem Awakening this week. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity announcement probably made me play BotW again XD

Super Mario 64, as I haven't played the original since I rented it in the late 90's and early 2000's.
