Disappointment (E3 2015) is what made Nintendo to start to give us what we have wanted (Breath of the Wild, Metroid Samus Returns, King K. Rool in Smash Ultimate, Simon and Richter Belmont also in Smash Ultimate).
Please Nintendo, ask Microsoft to give us some 64 bit games like Jet Force Gemini and few others that can benefit from being on the Switch. Even a certain duo.
Good that the Switch is region free. Sadly, I rarely buy digital for new games. The only exception was Ocarina of Time 3D because when I was looking for it months ago, I couldn't find it in any store close to me.
@BensonUii I also don't mind to see Splatoon 2 in Xbox One since it can help increase the popularity of this IP. Not to mention that it can do well since it is FPS game with a new take on this genre which could benefit by being on a console that has many shooting games. If this give us certain games that can have a second life in the Switch, I am all for it.
On one side, I feel bad for the ones who enjoy playing Melee and wanted to continue seeing it in EVO and on the other side, I do understand why it was replaced. Ultimate has more things that are also in Melee than any previous Smash had, so I can see the reasons behind not putting it in this year's EVO.
@GrailUK This may sound strange for some people but I wouldn't be against Pokémon being on a Microsoft console because they have a heavily focus on children which isn't sitting well with what the longtime fans have been asking. Also, this could help Microsoft to reach the younger japanese audience, which as we know, are in love with Pokémon.
Please, don't ever put a talking dex. It is the reason why I stopped playing Ultra Moon after obtaining Necrosma and beating the league. If they don't put it, I will like this new gen. Also, please bring more Mega Evolutions. That was the best thing of Pokémon X & Y and Ruby & Sapphire remakes which improved by having more Megas and legendaries with even cooler Mega Evolutions (Primal Reversions).
Narrator: The air is filled with numerous rumors and sayings that gives hopes to people for certain characters to come back. Could this be the year where many will have tears of joy? Find out on the next episode of Nintendall Z.
Just don't ever put that annoying rotom dex again. It was like an annoying ad but in this case just pop up to give me the same tips for the 100th time!
The next steps are: 1. An RPG Paper Mario game for the Switch in either next year or 2021. 2. Have Rare Replay on Nintendo Switch. 3. (This is a personal one) Make a sequel of DK 64.
I want to play the Rare Replay games, especially Jet Force Gemini and the Banjo games. So if this means that I can finally play them on a Nintendo console, I gladly welcome this 😊
@Bunkerneath Agreed. I was fine with the Link's Wind Waker art style face since they have life expressive face. But this Link Lego-like face looks stupid and lifeless. I don't understand why they were so lazy with the human faces. The face of the Owl at the trailer looks 50 times better than Link's (and Marin's) face.
@antonio2244 Also, there's a good possibility that Retro Studios has been making a third DKC game to continue the tradition of making three DK Country games
For me, I enjoyed Mario Maker 2, Starlink new content update, Astral Chain, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, the update that said that new things will come to Smash Ultimate and Zelda: Link's Awakening remake.
@Trikeboy I know of the Pegasus Shoes, but its normal movement is still a bit slow compared to A Link Between Worlds. I am not hating on the game by the way. I am planning on buying it.
Hopefully they give us FFVII (the original) a release date as I never played it. Also hope that they reveal something about Bravely Third which was confirmed to be in development, but nothing more was said. And yes, it'll be great if KH3 got released in the Switch.
Hopefully we get more 2D Metroid games, at least 2 1/2 years to 3 years in between each 2D Metroid. And 3 to 3 1/2 years for Metroid Prime games. In fact, it's possible that a 2D Metroid is announced in this year, since Samus Returns got released in September 2017. It's best that they don't go 5 to 10 years without announcing a new Metroid game, whether it be 2D or Prime games. Personally, I like both 2D and Prime games.
The only issue I had with DS Bowser's Inside Story was that some fights playing (Spoiler for those that haven't played the original) as Giant Bowser were kind of difficult. I may buy this remake, if those fights have reduced difficulty.
Exactly what other people have said. If the game have released in the Switch instead of the 3DS/2DS family consoles, it would have had decent sales. Not to mention that they should have remade Partners In Time first because that game is the sequel of Superstar Saga. Also I find it difficult to use four buttons to use many special attacks between Mario, Baby Mario, Luigi and Baby Luigi. They need to fix that if they made a remake (hopefully) in the Switch.
@Toadie I am not saying that they should exclusively. What I am saying is that some games like the 2D Marios need improvements that they don't seem to understand because they don't do surveys every year. Also what does making a new IP has to do with listening to what fans want to have in the current franchises? If they want to create new IPs that's completely apart and doesn't have anything to do with improving some franchises.
@Beermonkey Since I haven't played the Wii Paper Mario, I can't comment much on it but I have heard good things about that game. I hope that type of Paper Mario and also the first two Paper Mario games are what Nintendo has in mind when making future sequels.
If they combine new ideas, with making surveys every year, we can have better games that will increase the sales of the next new games. We may finally get that Super Mario Bros game that a lot us have dreamed to have. They just need to open to new ideas and ask us what we think that needs improvements. They have listened to us when we criticize how linear was Skyward Sword and they responded with Breath of the Wild, so they can do it again for the Paper Mario games, Star Fox games, Kirby games etc.
I think that Nintendo should do more polls and surveys so that that they can improve some of their games like the NSMB games and evade giving us things that have flopped like the 2D Pikmin to name one example.
I mean think about this: Something that is stale, sooner or later becomes boring. That is what is happening with the 2D Marios. And yet, at the same time it doesn't need to be completely different. That's why the 2D Pikmin failed and also the reason why each new New Super Mario Bros have decrease sells one after the other. Sure, New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe may sell better, but that's because many people didn't buy the Wii U. My point is we need new people and ideas that can give a breath of fresh air to the New Super Mario games while at the same time doesn't derail too much to what made 2D Mario so good. Like the people said: Everything in moderation.
@Beermonkey @Mailman I think that if Nintendo hired new people to create 2 to 3 new EAD teams, they could made that happend without outsourcing teams that are likely making other games because, why else they haven't release more new 2D Mario games? Not to mention that they need to improve the 2D Marios just like they did with SMB3 and later they did that with SMW. I now they can do it again just like they did in those consoles. They just need new people with ideas that can spices up the New Super Mario Bros games.
@nintendobynature I see. Sorry for assuming that your circumstance was similar to mine. And you're right, having the Wii U game pad and Switch really comes in handy 👍
@nintendobynature I know that feeling. In the past I couldn't play too much because of only being one tv in my house. Thankfully nowadays, I have a tv in my room. I hope you can have one for you in the future.
@nintendobynature I also hope that they put it in the Switch. I may have it already, but this is one of those games I like so much that I will buy it again without any doubt.
Good to know Link is in 6th place. Also, how can Peach be highter than Mario and Link!? 😨 She is hated because 90% of the time she gets kidnapped, which leads to the same boring plot! 😩
Just like the other week, I'm still hooked playing LoTR: The Third Age unlocking all skills and enjoying the story after 5 or more years without playing it. Oh and I may play Zelda: Twilight Princess.
@thesilverbrick I see. Thanks for explaining me. Since I grew up with family and friends that has different types of consoles, it was difficult to me to understand the ones with mainly Nintendo consoles, but I think I understand now.
I don't see why people get upset if a character doesn't have an appearance in a Nintendo console. I know some people don't like to have characters from other consoles in Smash but they all have in common that they all are videogame characters. Why people feel relief that a character has appeared in a spinoff when most of us want to have mainline games of those 3rd party games? I find that pointless because it's not the same to play a spinoff game than a mainline game. So in my opinion, having a character in a spinoff game doesn't count as valid reason.
Also I think that having a 3rd party character appear in Smash can increase demand for said game to appear in the Switch.

@MasterGraveheart @mrjelly @Kienda I will jump from happiness! 😄 Its been almost 20 years since the last 3D platformer Banjo game.
@DonSerrot I would love to see a DK 64 remake! Even better if they start developing a 64 sequel once they find the right studio.
