As someone who recently buy FE Awakening on the e-shop and wants to buy FE Fates Birthright physically (and later the other two versions), I cannot support the discontinuity of the New 3DS/2DS and its games.
I couldn't buy a 3DS until 2014 due to things I was dealing with, so I have had to catch up with the 3DS games, and I still have games I want to buy besides FE Fates.
With NintendoVS confirming cero character will be revealed, it seems other content will be revealed. Perhaps an updated Smash Run with more maps besides the 3DS map?
I have had most consoles/handhelds except the enhanced Game Boys (but have the Game Boy Color and first Game Boy), the first Game Boy Advance, the Game Boy Micro, the later DS models and the Wii U.
I choose Japan because I like it's cover. I would have chosen Europe if it had all of the artwork because the black look nice but I prefer the full artwork.
As long as they include an easy mode like in every FE since Awakening, I welcome any remake/remaster. I'm still very new to the FE games. Only have Awakening.
If I'm not mistaken this month is the 25th anniversary of Donkey Kong Country. Let's hope that they put the first two DKCs for SNES NSO or announce something regarding Donkey Kong.
I think I'll continue playing FE Awakening. It seems I need to level up a few of my units because I could only feel safe by using Chrome (great lord), Frederick and Stahl (Paladin) during Chapter 12. I'm leveling in The Northroad (previously Chapter 2) using those Reeking Boxes, though I get tired of doing that and unfortunately I can't buy DLC because I'm tight on money right now.
I may also play Zelda OoT 3D Master Quest as I like playing those changed dungeons.
@Venus_Adept Now that you mention it, it would be cool if future games include a feature to change the weight of the pokemon, based on which food we give them.
This has to be fake. Not even the final evolution of the fire starter from Black/White looked this bad. I won't believe this, though I won't be able to buy it until 2020 due having my eye on other games.
The one thing that many want to know is how do we obtain approval? Is it only approved by just being on excellent condition and the usual requirements or does one needs more than just that?
I have never played a Fire Emblem game despite finding out 6 months ago that I like SRPG thanks to playing Mario + Rabbits Kingdom Battle. I do have played other RPGs like Paper Mario 1 and 2, plus Final Fantasy III DS and both Bravely games.
But where I feel more shame is in not playing both 64 BK games, because I can tell that I'll like them as I have liked most 3D marios and even Yooka-Laylee which is a spiritual successor of BK itself. I plan on playing both of these franchises once I have more opportunity (still don't have an XBone and need a Pro Controller, plus I'm low budget at the moment).
@wazlon thanks 😊 I too like how Twilight Princess has special moves. I also like Helm Splitter because it's like an upgraded version of the jump move from Wind Waker.
Been enjoying playing Zelda Ocarina of Time Master Quest and Zelda Twilight Princess. Yesterday I learned one of my favorite techniques: Mortal Draw. Soon will enter the Arbiter's Grounds, though I don't know if I'll play Ocarina and left Twilight Princess for the night, or vice versa. Because during afternoon to sunset I'll have some guests which will play other videogames with me. Have a wonderful gaming weekend everyone.
I have recently started playing Yooka-Laylee and I am enjoying it more than the first time (note to those who want to play the second game: you don't have to play the first one to try YL and The Impossible Lair). Also some Yoshi's Island but taking it slowly (playing like 20 min) enjoy the game. Can't wait for Yooka-Laylee and The Impossible Lair!
They said Minor Gyms using an S which could imply that there are more than one Minor Gym in each game version. If that's the case, then each game will have 8 Major Gyms and 10 Minor Gyms, each different depending on the version one choose.
Having one Minor Gym in each version doesn't make any sense if you ask me. It wouldn't work if they are doing a thematic of having Major Gyms and Minor Gyms similar to how it is with football teams in real life and if they trying to emulate that in Sword and Shield, then the most login thing, is to have more than just one Minor Gym in each game. Maybe they didn't wanted to reveal this yet?
But the real question is, will we be able to enter the Minor Gyms? If they are going by the thematic, then we can't take on the Major Gyms until we beat the Minor Gyms. Sounds interesting if this turn out to be the case.
@Indielink A solution I see is getting hit to lose enough bees until you have, let say 5 or 10 bees. Not the best solution but at least works to adjust the difficulty to the player needs. Who knows, maybe an update can give the option to put the number of bees the player choose.
I finally obtained Nintendo Switch Online. Been playing Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island. Excellent games that hold up well due to their game design and controls.
I like how it combines action-adventuring, puzzles and platforming. Hope it arrives in November or December so I can first obtain Switch Online and Astral Chain in October. And a Pro Controller, if possible.
Looking forward to obtain Switch Online in October, due to having purchased other games. Nevertheless, I am glad that we can play SNES games on Switch, with more coming in the future.
All right, here are my list of predictions and wishlist and "One More Thing":
Predictions:
1. Mario Maker 2 DLC 2. Zelda Wii U/Skyward port 3. Donkey Kong Returns Definitive Edition. 4. Smash Update 5.0 5. Banjo info and spirits of their games.
Wishlist:
1. Super Metroid remake/Fusion remake. 2. Donkey Kong Country Trilogy HD 3. Paper Mario 1 remastered 4. Diddy Kong Racing All and More Edition that includes all the characters and race tracks from 64 and DS, along with new race tracks and a few more things/modes.
One More Thing announcement: Super Mario Sunshine/ Odyssey 2 but I am feeling that it could be something else, since Nintendo showed that image of Mario, which basically spoils this announcement if it is true.
Perhaps Nintendo should have 18GB and 20GB game cards for when a game is a few Megabytes (or GBs) away from fitting in the 16BG card. I can understand both sides so do what is more convenient depending on your situation.
Since I have been longing to play Spyro, I will buy it despite the retail game not being all physical.
I heard that the current Pokemon anime is no longer in the top ten in Japan. Which is shocking since Japan is the least region I would think that would happen.
You know, I was thinking of buying Megaman Legacy Collection (1) some hours ago, but haven't decided yet because I am looking for a game that can keep me occupied until Spyro arrive to the Switch. I have been playing Mario + Rabbits but I have been losing the desire to play it after I beat the game once.

@Grumblevolcano Perhaps DLC Stages? I would love if there was a Gangplank Galleon stage.

Can't wait to see Terry and possibly the 5th character!

Re: Rumour: The Starter Evolutions For Pokémon Sword And Shield Might Have Been Leaked
@Xansies yeah, there are different tastes depending on the person. So far I like Grookey's last evolution. I hope that at least Grookey's evo is real.

Looking at Grookey's supposed final evo, it doesn't look bad imo.

@RupeeClock Thanks for telling me. Since it has been a while since I saw some Zero/ZX Collection news, I couldn't recall.

That's really nice. Pardon if I'm asking a well known thing, but is it possible to obtain Model O in Megaman ZX thanks to this feature?

Re: Yooka-Laylee Dev Playtonic Is Open To Making A Mario Kart-Like Racer Or Splatoon-Like Shooter
A Diddy Kong Racing-esque game would be nice, and also an RPG in the same vein as Paper Mario as someone else mentioned also sounds good.
Re: Playtonic Is Adding Impossible Lair's N64 Tonic To The Original Yooka-Laylee Game
Very nice! Once I buy YL and The Impossible Lair this month and clear the game, I will try this update when it arrives.

Smash Bros Ultimate to use Banjo Kazooie, Spyro Reignited Trilogy to beat Spyro The Dragon and some Final Fantasy VII.

@antonio2244 Even better if they include the original Diddy Kong Racing!

Spyro, because the doctor said is good for me and perhaps Astral Chain if I have enough money in late September.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl #6 - Mega Man 3
Japan, as it captures the essence of the game the most.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 31st)
I have never played FF VII until recently and I am enjoying most of the things of this game.
Re: Poll: Astral Chain Is Out Today, Are You Getting It?
I would have buy it, if Spyro wasn't coming 4 days after this game 😅 Though, I would obtain at the end of September if everything goes well.
