Re: Doug Bowser Refuses To Read The Last Rites For The Nintendo 3DS Just Yet

Diddy64

As someone who recently buy FE Awakening on the e-shop and wants to buy FE Fates Birthright physically (and later the other two versions), I cannot support the discontinuity of the New 3DS/2DS and its games.

I couldn't buy a 3DS until 2014 due to things I was dealing with, so I have had to catch up with the 3DS games, and I still have games I want to buy besides FE Fates.

I think I'll continue playing FE Awakening. It seems I need to level up a few of my units because I could only feel safe by using Chrome (great lord), Frederick and Stahl (Paladin) during Chapter 12. I'm leveling in The Northroad (previously Chapter 2) using those Reeking Boxes, though I get tired of doing that and unfortunately I can't buy DLC because I'm tight on money right now.

I may also play Zelda OoT 3D Master Quest as I like playing those changed dungeons.

Re: Feature: The Hall Of Shame – Games Or Series We Never Got Around To Playing

Diddy64

I have never played a Fire Emblem game despite finding out 6 months ago that I like SRPG thanks to playing Mario + Rabbits Kingdom Battle. I do have played other RPGs like Paper Mario 1 and 2, plus Final Fantasy III DS and both Bravely games.

But where I feel more shame is in not playing both 64 BK games, because I can tell that I'll like them as I have liked most 3D marios and even Yooka-Laylee which is a spiritual successor of BK itself. I plan on playing both of these franchises once I have more opportunity (still don't have an XBone and need a Pro Controller, plus I'm low budget at the moment).

Been enjoying playing Zelda Ocarina of Time Master Quest and Zelda Twilight Princess. Yesterday I learned one of my favorite techniques: Mortal Draw. Soon will enter the Arbiter's Grounds, though I don't know if I'll play Ocarina and left Twilight Princess for the night, or vice versa. Because during afternoon to sunset I'll have some guests which will play other videogames with me. Have a wonderful gaming weekend everyone.

I have recently started playing Yooka-Laylee and I am enjoying it more than the first time (note to those who want to play the second game: you don't have to play the first one to try YL and The Impossible Lair). Also some Yoshi's Island but taking it slowly (playing like 20 min) enjoy the game. Can't wait for Yooka-Laylee and The Impossible Lair!

Re: The Pokémon Company Issues Statement About The Number Of Gyms In Sword And Shield

Diddy64

They said Minor Gyms using an S which could imply that there are more than one Minor Gym in each game version. If that's the case, then each game will have 8 Major Gyms and 10 Minor Gyms, each different depending on the version one choose.

Having one Minor Gym in each version doesn't make any sense if you ask me. It wouldn't work if they are doing a thematic of having Major Gyms and Minor Gyms similar to how it is with football teams in real life and if they trying to emulate that in Sword and Shield, then the most login thing, is to have more than just one Minor Gym in each game. Maybe they didn't wanted to reveal this yet?

But the real question is, will we be able to enter the Minor Gyms? If they are going by the thematic, then we can't take on the Major Gyms until we beat the Minor Gyms. Sounds interesting if this turn out to be the case.

Re: Nintendo Direct Confirmed For Tomorrow, 4th September

All right, here are my list of predictions and wishlist and "One More Thing":

Predictions:

1. Mario Maker 2 DLC
2. Zelda Wii U/Skyward port
3. Donkey Kong Returns Definitive Edition.
4. Smash Update 5.0
5. Banjo info and spirits of their games.

Wishlist:

1. Super Metroid remake/Fusion remake.
2. Donkey Kong Country Trilogy HD
3. Paper Mario 1 remastered
4. Diddy Kong Racing All and More Edition that includes all the characters and race tracks from 64 and DS, along with new race tracks and a few more things/modes.

One More Thing announcement:
Super Mario Sunshine/ Odyssey 2 but I am feeling that it could be something else, since Nintendo showed that image of Mario, which basically spoils this announcement if it is true.

You know, I was thinking of buying Megaman Legacy Collection (1) some hours ago, but haven't decided yet because I am looking for a game that can keep me occupied until Spyro arrive to the Switch. I have been playing Mario + Rabbits but I have been losing the desire to play it after I beat the game once.
