Re: Bravely Default Producer Apologises For End Layer On 3DS, Says It Didn't Live Up To Expectations

Diddy64

I enjoyed both games and I'm thankful for B Second continuing where the first one ended. Where I am having problems is with the demo of Bravely Default II because the damage the enemy causes is too high. The same happened with the Asterisk boss battle. I managed to beat the boss but I didn't get any satisfaction from beating it because he deals a lot of damage, despite all my characters being at max level. It was like being pressured the whole fight because of the difference between him and my characters was really significant. And I used different jobs to use their abilities as best as possible, along with using the best equipment that is available to buy.

Despite all my efforts, I think I win by luck because for some reason the boss started to do less damage when he was at 1/5 of his health (and this was without using any move that reduces physical attack percent). Before that, he constantly steal my party's health and he recovers double of the amount he stole. Due to this, more than once he recovered more than the damage my party inflicted upon him, making the battle last longer (which almost made run out of ethers, hipotions and phoenix downs) and putting the fight even more at his favor despite him being already to powerful. And he has a high physical defense. Hope there's patch to reduce this demo to at least Normal difficulty because I am convinced that the demo is in hard more. A very hard mode if I may add. I enjoyed more the flexibility of the first two game's demo difficulties, where you could choose Easy, Normal and Hard.

Re: Nintendo Switch 10.0.0 Firmware Update Reportedly "Adds Preliminary Support For A New Hardware Model"

Diddy64

With how Nintendo innovates when it comes to naming, it's safe to say that this third (Switch) hardware would not be called New Nintendo Switch nor Nintendo Switch Pro. They will use other names like Switch 1.5, Switch Enhanced, Switch V2 or Switch EX (Extended, whatever that means for new features. You know Nintendo. They innovate in a way that's difficult to predict 😅).

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 14th)

I am now playing Megaman Z/ZX Collection, Paper Mario TTYD and rarely Zelda BotW. Decided to start with Megaman Zero 2 because it's one of my favorite from the Zero series. Can't decide which I like more, if Zero 2 or Zero 3.

Recently cleared Chapter 3 of Paper Mario 2, which is my second favorite chapter. Can't wait to reach the Chapter 5, my favorite chapter of all.

Re: Nintendo Comments On How It's Handling Joy-Con Drift

Diddy64

I sent my joycons 9 (or more) months ago and used a PS4 controller that a cousin let me have for a few moths even after having repaired my joycons. 3 months ago I started using the repaired joycons because I had to return the PS4 because my cousin wanted to play his games and guess what. In just three months using the joycons they started to drift again, and I have been careful when using then to prevent the drifting.

So this issue can actually happen even if the person is being careful with their joycons. I recalibrate them the first time it drifted and now that they have started once again to drift, but it didn't work either time.
