That sounds like something that I would not buy. I want a full game experience. Sure, Bravely Default and Second had money-spend SP but they were handicaps and it never felt forced. I hope they continue putting their mainline games on Nintendo Switch.
I enjoyed both games and I'm thankful for B Second continuing where the first one ended. Where I am having problems is with the demo of Bravely Default II because the damage the enemy causes is too high. The same happened with the Asterisk boss battle. I managed to beat the boss but I didn't get any satisfaction from beating it because he deals a lot of damage, despite all my characters being at max level. It was like being pressured the whole fight because of the difference between him and my characters was really significant. And I used different jobs to use their abilities as best as possible, along with using the best equipment that is available to buy.
Despite all my efforts, I think I win by luck because for some reason the boss started to do less damage when he was at 1/5 of his health (and this was without using any move that reduces physical attack percent). Before that, he constantly steal my party's health and he recovers double of the amount he stole. Due to this, more than once he recovered more than the damage my party inflicted upon him, making the battle last longer (which almost made run out of ethers, hipotions and phoenix downs) and putting the fight even more at his favor despite him being already to powerful. And he has a high physical defense. Hope there's patch to reduce this demo to at least Normal difficulty because I am convinced that the demo is in hard more. A very hard mode if I may add. I enjoyed more the flexibility of the first two game's demo difficulties, where you could choose Easy, Normal and Hard.
With how Nintendo innovates when it comes to naming, it's safe to say that this third (Switch) hardware would not be called New Nintendo Switch nor Nintendo Switch Pro. They will use other names like Switch 1.5, Switch Enhanced, Switch V2 or Switch EX (Extended, whatever that means for new features. You know Nintendo. They innovate in a way that's difficult to predict 😅).
I'll probably be playing Zelda BotW a lot this weekend, just like I did today. That said, I haven't beaten some games like Yooka-Laylee and The Impossible Lair, Octopath Traveler and Paper Mario TTYD (this one I cleared back in the day, but I wanted to play it again).
I love the voice of the female protagonist (was her name Gloria?). Also it seems that the tall guy will be the funny one of the party. Kinda like Ringabell.
Probably Zelda BotW and Megaman Zero/ZX Legacy Collection. I may also continue Paper Mario TTYD since I left it right after clearing Chapter 4, where the people were being transformed into pigs. Oh, and I also have to continue Yooka-Laylee and The Impossible Lair.
I am now playing Megaman Z/ZX Collection, Paper Mario TTYD and rarely Zelda BotW. Decided to start with Megaman Zero 2 because it's one of my favorite from the Zero series. Can't decide which I like more, if Zero 2 or Zero 3.
Recently cleared Chapter 3 of Paper Mario 2, which is my second favorite chapter. Can't wait to reach the Chapter 5, my favorite chapter of all.
Personally, I would like to have Megaman X as the next Capcom's DLC fighter for Fighter Pass 2. Of course, I can live without it since I already have 4 of my favorite characters in Smash Ultimate.
Ugh, I'm late (and have been evading most pokemon news thinking that they are just talking about the Pokedex controversy). Hopefully next time they'll wait until 11:59pm.
I'll continue playing Zelda Twilight Princess (Wii). I'm about to enter the Twilight Palace, but I may first release the fairies by clearing The Cave of Trials in the Gerudo Desert.
For the first time I vote for Europe. While I have nostalgia for the US one, it just doesn't give me that Smash feel that Europe have done at least for me.
Continuing playing Zelda Twilight Princess (Wii). I got two pieces of hearts and collected 4 or more poe souls while looking for more heart pieces. Also collected all golden bugs to get the Giant Wallet.
Since I haven't buy one of these, I have a question that may sound silly. Does it comes with the (edit) adapter to play them on Switch or does one have to buy them separately?
The same day as the Game Awards? Could this be a hint that Nintendo has really good things for the Game Awards? Nintendo likes to give little hints in many different ways.
To bad that I won't be able to play Ultimate for a while due to sending my joycons to repair (don't have more controls and can't spend money for a while too). Still, hope the rest can enjoy it!
Whether it being a 2D Metroid remake, a Prime Trilogy HD and/or a new 2D Metroid game, give it to me. Also, please don't forget about the DK franchise Nintendo. They are two of my four favorite Nintendo franchises.
I didn't beat the game completely but enjoyed it each time I rented it. I still long to have a second 3D Donkey Kong despite the bad reviews of DK 64. I am sure it will be great thanks to the current technology and a few quality of life improvements.
I wonder who will be in charge of Donkey Kong while Retro is developing Metroid Prime 4? After all, Donkey Kong sells enough to continue having sequels.
The population of China is enormous. That being said, I don't know which videogame icons the chinese know besides Mario. I did hear someone said that Ubisoft's Rabbid games are popular there.
The good side to this, is that we can try to catch up with the Switch games we don't have. In my case, I'm buying all the mainline 3DS FE games and Three Houses. Not to mention that I want Zero/ZX Collection and other games.
@Heavyarms55 I also think you're right. I remember seeing Blinky Bill, Toad Patrol and few others western 2D animation and I think there's a lot potential to be used for this genre.
We just need people willing to do this without fearing what the media say about them. I myself am interested in 2D animation.
@Heavyarms55 I couldn't have said it better. I also enjoyed Breath of the Wild DLC (I bought the DLC that includes both Season Passes for $20), I even have enjoyed buying the Challenger Packs of Smash Ultimate because they come with a new stage.
As long as DLC is done in this way, I am happy to bought them.
I sent my joycons 9 (or more) months ago and used a PS4 controller that a cousin let me have for a few moths even after having repaired my joycons. 3 months ago I started using the repaired joycons because I had to return the PS4 because my cousin wanted to play his games and guess what. In just three months using the joycons they started to drift again, and I have been careful when using then to prevent the drifting.
So this issue can actually happen even if the person is being careful with their joycons. I recalibrate them the first time it drifted and now that they have started once again to drift, but it didn't work either time.
Chikorita, I choose you! Joking aside, I like Chikorita a lot and he was my first starter due to my first pokemon game being the Yellow version and Silver version obviously being my second pokemon game.

Wasn't expecting this to come out of nowhere. I'll have to put this game in my e-shop's Wishlist
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (April 18th)
I will probably alternate Between Yooka-Laylee and The Impossible Lair and Zelda BotW. Also may start a new file in Zelda Majora's Mask 3D.

I got burned out with Zelda BotW, so now I am playing Yooka-Laylee and The Impossible Lair.

@Ventilator Thanks. Once I can spend again I'll buy one, plus one of those 360 controllers.
