One of my three favorite modes in the first two Super Monkey Ball, is the main game's Normal Mode (which got called Challenge Mode in the 2nd game). Trying to reach the green goal felt really rewarding since some of these optional goals were difficult but in return, you could jump 2 floors/levels or more. Not to mention the red goals, which were more challenging but makes you jump even more levels. I also loved the Extra Levels.
So they know what to do with Sonic now? Until I see what the next new mainline game offers, I can't be assured that they have learned from their mistakes.
Just finished Breath of the Wild a few days ago. Now playing a little of Smash but I'm mostly playing JRPGs now with Bravely Default, which I started like a week ago and Octopath Traveler, which I started playing like 7 hours ago ๐
Definitely won't spend a cent in this movie. Sonic don't deserve this humiliation. Can we go and ask Whitehead (or someone else competent) to be in charge of all the decisions regarding Sonic?
It seems SEGA needs more help from Christian Whitehead AND start to listen to their longtime fans. Even Nintendo changed their ways after understanding that the kids and casuals are the wrong public to appeal to.
Continuing playing Breath of the Wild and Mario + Rabbits Kingdom Battle. I'm taking it easy with the latter and farming coins to get better weapons for when I proceed to the next world.
Now I am alternating between The Legend of Zelda BotW, Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom. The rabbid boss of world 3 was really funny ๐
@WiltonRoots I am on the same page about the the trail of the sword. Since I bought one game that I wanted some weeks ago, I haven't the resources to buy the DLC ๐
Searching for koroks in Zelda Breath of the Wild and exploring whenever my curiosity leads me. Also collecting materials to upgrade the clothes, armor, tunics, etc. It's impressive that I am still discovering new chest that I previously didn't noted, as well as new koroks.
Why do they persist in putting Ash and Pikachu with their eyes so separated? Now Pikachu has his eyes (in this movie) even more separate than in the Sun and Moon series. I wish they fired whoever make the design of Sun and Moon's series characters, as well as the one who makes the designs of the human characters of this movie. Can't they learn from other people like Akira Toriyama that some characters don't need a drastic design change? DBZ and DBS doesn't have such a drastic change in their characters and it has worked so well in the series and movies.
@Venus_Adept sounds nice and since it is impossible for a non-steel type to get corrosion, it could have a different effect on those just like the move C@#se works different on non-ghost types.
I'll like to see a Super Mario 64 HD Definitive Edition with even more stages and areas than the DS remake which wasn't bad, but didn't have that colorful look of the original Mario 64. With how big was the impact of this game, I wouldn't be surprised if they give us something in either 2021, where this game becomes (Edit) 25 years old or in 2026 (Edit) (30 years).
Probably alternating between Breath of the Wild and Mario + Rabbits Kingdom Battle. I am still discovering new koroks and areas I previously overlooked.
@8bitforever I see were you are coming from. My reason of wanting these games are because I skipped the Wii U and didn't have Internet during the Wii days, so I haven't played SNES and N64 games in a long time. Another reason I want them (if possible, on the e-shop), is to play them on the go (especially N64 GCN games).
Something that would be cool is if Metroid Prime Trilogy HD (whenever it get released), let you unlock Prime Hunters if you beat Prime 1 and 2. That way, you can play through all the Prime games chronologically.
@Luffymcduck Agree with you. They should put SNES, N64 and Game Cube games on Switch Online and also on the e-shop for the people that want to play them on the go without using internet.
@GetShulked Completely agree with the N64 and Game Cube on Switch. Nintendo could earn more money if they put them in the Switch's e-shop, especially the Game Cube ones as they weren't available in the Wii U (with the exception of Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and in some way, Metroid Prime 1 and 2 thanks to the Trilogy).
We are getting FF Crystal Chronicles 1 which is a Game Cube game, so once it comes to the e-shop, they (Nintendo) don't have an excuse of not doing the same with their games.
@BlueOcean one of my favorite favorite cutscene-like speech of A Link Between Worlds is when Hilda tells Zelda that Lorule once had heroes among other things. I don't think that Link's Awakening remake can transmit me the emotion of such moments with his art style.
@BlueOcean Now that I think it, it has similarities to A Link Between Worlds. Perhaps it is an enhanced one though, it is hard to know because the characters in this new remake look very chibi compared to ones in A Link Between Worlds.
@BlueOcean Oh, if you mean the engine of A Link Between Worlds, I am sure it will fit well on A Link to the Past. Certainly Nintendo must know by now that Link's Awakening remake received mixed reactions ๐
@BlueOcean I really hope that isn't the case A Link to the Past has a more serious theme where they even presented the king of hyrule being a skeleton thanks to Agahing (sorry if spell it wrong).
@Kainbrightside Good point, also I haven't discard that possibility as it could end up being two games in one. We'll have to wait to see what Nintendo decides to do.
@Kainbrightside With the money that could generate an A Link to the Past remake, even I being Nintendo would sell it apart. So sadly I don't think they'll put the two on one cartridge.
Perhaps Nintendo foresaw the mixed reactions of Link's Awakening remake and has A Link to the Past remake to counter that. If that's the case, then it is very smart of Nintendo.
@Grumblevolcano I hope so. There are some SNES games that interest me but I rather have them to be in the e-shop, so I could play play them everywhere without needing internet.
Between this 3-2 NES games a month and the online lag, I don't think many people will subscribe to this service, which is sad because they could have done better but for the sake of not copying the others they refused.

If SEGA had listened to the fans with common sense (aka longtime fans), none of this would ever happened.
