I still play my Switch a lot to be fair. I thought it'd be dead after the Switch 2 but it's not. It feels like a better quality console than the Switch 2 as well, or is that just me?

Judging by the sales of Switch 2 and its games I think the GKC cry-babies are a very loud minority.

I for one don't care, will definitely pre-order at some point. Probably just a few days before so it is delivered on time - the pre-order "bonuses" are usually not much of an incentive.

I'm so hyped for this. The price is very good too! I only found out about it the other day, but I'll be pre-ordering when they open!! Been trying to find the SNES games but they're never in the retro stores when I check and I'm loathe to buy online.

@roy130390 It's soooooo good. I think you won't regret it. The first time I played it, it took me a while to get into it. The second time I played it, I got REALLY into it. It's got a smashing mix of exploring, fighting, digging, crafting and building!

I'd rather get a remake of the original 2 than the 3D ones personally. But I'm happy people are still into the franchise after those.

I always go to Gamestop when I visit the US and it's total garbage. There's hardly many games there, the ones they do have are expensive and the shops are usually a complete mess with low quality toys everywhere. How are they even making money?

@garfreek I bought both of them. I prefer the pixel art style of DPP, but the ones on switch are good: they're just missing the platinum content! But the new features like having your Pokémon follow you and the enhanced underground are really neat. I would recommend buying them depending on your financial situation - if you think "it's only 40 quid" then just buy them otherwise I'd think about it in terms of priorities.

Edit: if you had to choose between BDSP and Legends Z-A I'd definitely skip Legends for example

I'm just so happy and grateful that I was born at a time where I could experience Pokémon. This year is going to be the best! I'm hoping for Black and White remakes, a Gen 10 announcement, Classic re-releases, Pokopia. I want it all baby, but anything will do

It looks incredibly cringe to me: I'll still go and watch it though but sheesh. It's everything I feared and more.

Game key cards are great because they help out people on lower incomes via the ability to trade them in. So I for one support them. Personally though, would never trade in but hey.

@nhSnork Sorry what I mean is like a controller with a screen! I'd love it if you could connect your Switch screen to a game running on Switch 2 and use it as like a map or something.

It's a great system to be fair. Really feels like Switch-Pro in a good way: breathes a lot of life into old games. I'd still take my Switch to travel with though: it's cheaper and smaller.

I hope they can turn the OG Switch into a controller or something though to retain its usefulness over the medium-term.

If there's one thing you can guarantee about Nintendo it's that they won't sell you the products you want. They've probably just patented this so they can try to use it to sue.

It's a shame, given it's abundantly clear by this point that releasing new consoles is a dud: you could release a new DS game and there'd be a sizable market ready to go.

All hackers are really telling you is that they're unable to control themselves, have zero patience and no moral compass. It's not a good look.

It's the same for the people spreading it.

It's the worst when these things happen, then you go on X and it's the first thing you see. Just who wants that shoved in their face? It's a good reason to quit social media and stop reading certain outlets (or their comment sections).

We've all seen the screens of it - isn't it obvious it's a reskinned Pokopia? They must have reskinned it to keep it secret.

@Dazman So far though, just have MK World, Cyberpunk 2077 and Street Fighter on Switch 2.

I drop on games all the time. Mostly retro games these days but sometimes a new one comes along that's worth it: like Factorio or Baldur's Gate 3.

Sounds cool to me. Like those ultra beast worm holes in sun and moon. However, announcing dlc with the game is odd — is it not a full game they are selling?

Call me a loser, but I have been excited for this game on Switch 2. It seems like the definitive way to play for me: even if performance isn't perfect.

It'll be like a Switch 2 without Nintendo games. Who will want it? The criminals already have a Steam deck. I suppose the Playstation posse will be happy though - definitely good to give Nintendo some competition too.

Atari have been going from strength to strength lately, this is definitely good news because Ubisoft has really fallen into the gutter.

The more I learn about this game the more I become interested in buying it. Hopefully, it can learn some lessons from smogon formats 👀

Got to admit, the 'upgrade' just seems like a way to upsell the other products - like the camera, extra joycons etc - so I'll be steering clear.

I've got 4GB internet which tends to clock around 1-5-2GB (waste of money) but the games take much longer to download than something comparable on my pc!

Some of the responses from these depraved companies are beyond laughable: like the claim that they protect players from the dangers of private servers by not making them available.

I don't hold out hope on the EU to do the right thing, though. At best they will spend 8 years debating a new body of legislation which is overly complex and obsolete soon after being implemented: if it ever is.

It's pretty obvious there's more DK stuff coming once Bananza is out because DK and Pauline only have two costumes a pop. Where's the rest of the DK crew too? In the DLC my friend, in the DLC.
