How about a 3DS emulator with HGSS for NSO (one can dream)

It's a shame there's no switch 2 announcement because you know any new Pokémon game announcements will be current gen. And let's be honest, they've done all they can with this gen.

@SwagaliciousJohnson Why would they do that when they can make us pay? Especially when there are those of us that recently purchased all of the games because they shut down the 3DS servers.

I have a feeling this is going to be a year without any good announcements.

Given the rumoured specs, it sounds more like a switch pro than a switch 2. If true then the thing is as fast as a PS3, so it's not a huge improvement.

So Switch 2 was just a rumour then...

Baldur's Gate would melt the switch. The console simply cannot do it.

The game is made for ten year olds at the end of the day, which is why Game Freak doesn't care less about the performance. After all, why waste time on it when little jimmy will be begging mommy for it anyway?

Definitive way to play GTA is on PC anyway, the console versions are trash because they have poor graphics and constrained shooting mechanics.

TOTK was good, but Baldur's Gate 3 was a lot better. Both games deserve to win though.

Where is a new Conker's Bad Fur day? That's all I want to know. But you know they are probably too much of a bunch of PC pussy cats to do something like that now.

TOTK is good but Baldur's gate 3 is definitely GOTY. Some of the other options are laughable though. I love how Blizzard is calling Diablo 4 a GOTY contender, for example. It's trash.

DQM looks amazing. It has cake land for goodness sake, give it game of the year. I am hyped to get back from work to play it.

@AG_Awesome The master chief collection is super cheap on Steam. Especially if you wait for a sale. I'd recommend it.

I for one thought MK on switch was trash. I mean, it's an okay game. But there's nothing to do. I want a game with unlockable characters, maps and cups. Unlocking the different parts for your cart is pointless unless you want to compete online too. Something along the lines of diddy kong racing, I think, would be much better. A nice openish world where you can go around at will and unlock new maps and secrets: with bosses to boot. And perhaps even different kart types, I'll love the DKR planes forever <3

Before Pokemon, JP was my favourite thing as a kid. So I had to drop for the physical edition. I'm most excited for the Mega Drive games though. They're all kind of trash when you play them on an emulator now, but I still like them for the IP and nostalgia. I hope they do a Lost World collection next because I'll be on that.

Coker's the best game on the N64 for me. I'm glad I have the physical edition because I doubt it'll come to Switch online.

Really loved this game as a kid. I still have my N64 but I lost all the games, so recently cleaned it up, got a CRT and began collecting them again. This gem is one of the ones I still need.

Got back into Minecraft recently as a lot of good mods are there for the newest updates, like Create and Farmer's delight, and I'm absolutely loving it. In my view, it's the best it has ever been.

They seem to release these sets at breakneck speed. I can spend thousands and still not have all the cards in a set. It's quite ridiculous really. And as for 151, I haven't even seen them in the shops because they are always sold out: apart from the poster boxes which are a huge ripoff so nobody buys them.

Christmas will come early. I already like this more than Pokémon S/V due to the cake land alone. Looks like it from the footage that it has similar performance issues too, but that's never stopped this monster wrangler // Pokémon trainer.

Is it going to be the original Mario movie all over again...?

Hype. I preordered the physical edition as soon as it was available. Can't wait for it to arrive! Now they just need to do a Lost World collection!

Is there much new content though?

Apple is overpriced garbage. Even if this looks great, I'll never waste my money on a bad PC or mobile phone that costs a premium just for the brand.

@GoodVibesGamingfan I love Pokemon but there are teenagers building better games in Unreal engine than whatever Game Freak can muster.

@sanderev I'll eat my hat if they do that. It's never going to happen. They'd rather milk it for all it's worth in the short term.

@TanookiLeaf Why is it annoying? If you don't like it, don't use the mod or pay attention to it. It's that simple.

Looks great, I'll buy it if there's a physical edition.

I wasn't interested in this at first, but after seeing more of the game I thought the multiplayer looked like a lot of fun.

Wow. So since third gen we have been able to seamlessly move pokemon throughout each subsequent generation. But they are now going to ruin everything before the Switch at some unspecified point? What a load of trash. Shame on Nintendo!

In the age of webshops and digital downloads it really is anti-consumer to not include backwards compatibility. There should be an emulator and if you paid for it, then you can just run it in the new console via the emulator using a digital download. Then sure, charge for a patch to upgrade it to the new hardware.

As a software engineer, one has to wonder how a regression bug cropped up in the final battle due to patch changes targeting the dlc. Is their code base a bowl of spaghetti?

@Mauzuri Why should the raids be dumbed down for everyone else because some people can't solo them? They are already easy. You can solo almost everything.

E.A. Sports, it's in the game. It's much better than Fifa anyway, a corrupt and sexist organisation.

I live in Amsterdam and this is depressing. I want to go there and see the exhibit and get a card and buy some merch, but I do not want to see this vultures engaging in their wanton scavenging. I bet they do not even turn up to see the exhibition. I will be so upset if I go and everything is gone...

It looks like it has enough gameplay for a 15 Euro game.
