Nintendo is bundling Mario Kart with their console. In other news, water is wet.

Once upon a time, I tried playing Super Mario Bros. 3 without save-states. Yeah, in those later levels, I cut that out real quick. I'm an adult and I do not have the time to start the whole world over every single time I get a game over.

The games very, though. The better talking point would be hardest level in Mario. The very final level in Super Mario 3D World completely broke. I had to come to terms with the fact that my thumbs aren't quick enough to beat that level.

Pre-ordered it over a month ago. After the first trailer dropped, I immediately knew this was going to be a magnificent game. I didn't need anymore convincing.

Is it possible that there won't be backward compatibility? Sure. Would I be shocked? Yeah, kinda, if I'm being honest. Nintendo sold more software for the Switch than any other Nintendo console by a mile. I think they might be shooting themselves in the foot if they don't because so many people have their digital libraries on the Switch now.

Platformers. I can always fall back on a platformer as a palette cleaner. Super Mario 64, Celeste, Super Mario Bros., and A Hat in Time are my go-to games.

Well, s***... and that's the end of Unity. I've been looking into Master's programs for video game direction and design and I was starting to dip my toes into Unity. Well, guess not! Guess I'm using Unreal instead. Absolutely no way am I going to support this greedy practice.

When I was in school, I was severely strapped for cash. I sold, and it pains me to say this, Majora's Mask, the Majora's Mask Guide booklet, Mario Galaxy, and my Gamecube. I have been kicking myself for years and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

This was me with the game Wacky Wheels. For a few years, I thought I might have dreamt it, but I distinctly remembered playing as and loving the shark character was I was a little kid. I finally found it just a couple of years ago. I will say, though, it aged horribly. Hahaha!

130 hours in and I still haven't beat all of the temples yet. Hahaha!

I'll say it, it's too expensive. $40 is a lot, especially when they're competing for our money during one of the best years in gaming. $20, or even $30 would have been a much more compelling price tag.
