I, honestly, would love more of a story in Zelda. I think that's part of why I still find myself thinking about Twilight Princess. I loved that story so much.

The European version is ghastly. Oh my gosh, that is the shining example of a design created by a committee, and I feel bad for the designer who was forced to make it.

Oh my gosh, PLEASE no open world. I am so tired of open worlds. For the love, just give me an on-rails shooter that's dripping with campiness.

I think we're finally reaching the breaking point where the price of gaming is outweighing the desire for people to game. People will just find other ways if these price increases continue. Sony isn't competing with Nintendo for gamers' attention. They're competing with cheaper forms of entertainment, like TikTok and mobile gaming.

I gotta be honest, I'm kind of surprised by these specs. They're kind of low for such a stylized, cartoonish game.

I think whiffing twice with Welcome Tour, Drag x Drive, and only releasing one game in the 90/100 range will definitely do that.

Do we know if Nintendo has addressed the biggest problem with the Gamecube App, the awful input lag? The input lag is so bad I gave up on using it.

I was testing out my games last night. GRIS, Danganronpa, Citizen Sleeper, Advance Wars, The Plucky Squire, and Dredge all look GORGEOUS.

This is an absolute GAME CHANGER. Oh my gosh, I just tested out a handful of games, and they all look glorious in handheld mode. GRIS, The Plucky Squire, Citizen Sleeper, Dredge, Advance Wars. They are all crystal clear in 1080p. It's astounding.

So many people in these comments are taking a giant dump on the chat feature, but, honestly, my buddies and I use it, and it's genuinely great. Sure, it isn't perfect, but it's just so easy and intuitive to use.

@UpsideDownRowlet I know we'll get destroyed in the comments for this, but I couldn't agree more. I played Mario Odyssey and A Hat in Time back-to-back, and even though Odyssey was much more polished, I had more fun playing A Hat in Time.

The nostalgia is strong with this list.

I put my nostalgia aside and voted Gen VII. Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon have such dynamic backgrounds and eye-catching Pokémon. They're beautifully designed... But I was this close 🤏 to voting Gen I.

I thinking about picking up Fire Red, but I might have ruined the experience for myself a few years ago. I played Fire Red with an emulator at 6x speed, and I beat the entire game in 8 hours. I doubt that this version would allow that. 🤷

@brandonbwii I mean, for sure. EA sports games shouldn't cost more than $10 a year because it's basically a paid annual update. 😂

As good as this looks (7-8/10), I cannot justify spending $70 on a Mario sports game. It's way too much. How is this worth as much as DK Bananza? Mario sports games shouldn't cost more than $50, especially with the lack of single-player content. This feels like a swing and a miss (all puns intended).

When I was a kid, I had both the Kabuto and Kabutops cards and a little Kabuto toy, and thought they were the coolest Pokémon. Then I found out horseshoe crabs were real, and it blew my little mind.

So, I guess it's time to sail the open seas.

I don't think Mario sports games should be $70. They should really only be $40–$60.

It absolutely blows my mind that a tablet is standing toe-to-toe with modern consoles. Way to go, little Switch 2!

I can't justify spending $100 on two joycons. I'm glad I got the Switch 2 on day 1 because I've already been priced out.

Oh my goodness, PLEASE. I held off on picking this one up over the holidays because people said how low the resolution was for the game on Switch 2. Fingers crossed! 🤞

Most people here in the U.S. are barely living paycheck to paycheck. With tariffs, economy, job losses, and our ever-weakening dollar, I'm not surprised by this in the slightest.

I honestly think it looks worse on Switch 2.

I'm kind of shocked just how often I pick up my Steam Deck since I got the Switch 2. The Switch 2 is incredible, but the support has been lacking at best. Most of my Switch 1 games look terrible on the Switch 2. It's a real shame, honestly. I expected a lot more from the backwards compatibility. :/

As someone who has never played Fortnite, this was a very overwhelming minute of content.

My games all work, but the resolution and frame rate caps on most of my games leads me to pick up my Steam Deck more often than I thought I would after getting a Switch 2.

Why? Because Akira is effing amazing and one of the coolest things the human race has ever created. That's why.

I'm kind of shocked this is running at 30 fps. I played the whole 102 hours of this game on my Steam Deck OLED, and it was locked at 60 fps.

Let's be real. If this didn't have the Pokémon brand attached to it, it would have limped away with a 6/10, especially for that $100 price tag.

The Pokémon Company is never going to make their games better so long as people keep buying them.

This game is not for me, but have fun everyone who is picking it up.

As always with this franchise, I'm good. It's literally been decades since I could get excited about Pokémon, and it looks like I'll still be waiting.

I don't know if anyone else is in the same camp as me, but I'm just so done spending money on this stuff. Every company is coming out with controllers and accessories for Switch 2, and I'm still burned out on how much I spent on the console and a single Pro Controller. Like, I'm good. I'm sure these are nice, but I think I'm going to forego spending money on hardware for as long as possible.
