I'm not spending a dime on this until we know if they fixed that absolutely awful d-pad.

I would love to ask the community, how story-driven is this game, specifically the Switch version? I've never play a Xenoblade game before, and I have a difficult time committing to a game this long if the story doesn't carry the experience. Would this be a good place to hop into the series?

Just wait until April 2nd until we have more details.

I would have bought this without hesitation a few years ago, but I'm holding on buying anything for my Switch until the Direct and we know more about the Switch 2.

Seeing what games won in the other categories, especially FF7:R, I'm going to take these awards with a grain of salt...

The two parks that make Mario's eyes look super durpey bring me so much joy.

I mean, heck, the PS5 uses wifi 6, so no complaints there for a little handheld like the Switch.

I get Cowboy Bebop vibes from the Japanese cover, and I kind of love it.

Z-A's battle mechanics look a lot like Ni No Kuni's battle mechanics... which is a game that came out 15 years ago. Like, I'm glad Pokémon is trying something new, but I have a hard time getting excited about a game that looks and plays like a game from literally 15 years ago.

This is so odd, but I, out if the blue, had a dream last night about the direct. They announced Toon Link as a character in the new Mario Kart, which was then a segue into announcing Wind Waker coming to Switch 2. I guess my subconscious is more excited about this than I thought. Hahaha!!!

Capcom loves Nintendo. I have no doubt they'll work something out.

I am 100% the target audience of this game. I'm so stoked for this.

Star Fox Assault is insanely underrated. It's fantastic, and the multiplayer was the best in the series.

For those on PC, there are also some sick deals and bundles on Fanatical for Capcom's games.

I mean, it's a really easy UX fix. Just stack the menu two or three high depending on how many echoes they've unlocked. Better yet, allow for folders and pinning favorites to the top.

$400 is the sweet spot, but, here in the U.S., the orange man might throw a massive wrench in that plan.

Yeah, ever since the Switch 2 rumors started ramping up about a year or so ago, I completely stopped buying Switch accessories. Just waiting for the new console.

I'm shocked to not see Smash Ultimate on here. The character reveals were unmatched when it comes to hype. I'll never forget the Joker reveal.

It's just crazy to think that somewhere out there on the planet, there is a Switch 2 sitting in a warehouse that I will hold in my hands this year.

AH HELL YES! Unicorn Overlord was my personal GOTY, and it's good to see it in its rightful place.

@axelhander Sadly, Vanillaware does not release their games on Steam. They don't want gamers to backward engineer their games.

Unicorn Overlord is my personal GOTY. I could NOT put this game down. I loved every minute of it.

It's kind of insane that Nintendo went from one of the most the most curated storefronts to becoming one if the most p*rn-filled, plagiarism-ridden storefronts in a single generation.

I tried this, and, no, it does not work.

I've been playing, and I'm quite impressed. It's UNBELIEVABLY polished. It feels like Pokémon took some ideas from Yugioh Duel Link. It's a reduced deck and bench size with simplified mechanics. It's pretty great!

Waiting from them to add Worms 2. That one is still my favorite.

Earlier this year, I replayed Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Odyssey back to back. I was once again reminded that I like Odyssey, but I just don't love it. Comparing the two, 64 feels so much tighter to me because there's only 120 stars. Each course is structured around each achievement. Odyssey is fun, but I think it would have benefited from smaller levels with fewer moons. It begins to feel like a checklist after awhile rather than an achievement.

For me, in no particular order, my top 3 are:

• Super Mario 64
• Super Mario Wonder
• Super Mario 3D World + Bowsers Fury

I quite literally refreshed the page on Steam this morning until it was available for purchase. This game is easily one of my most anticipated games of the whole year.

I can't even express just how excited I am that there's a possibility Nintendo could bring GameCube games to the Switch, and then I could play Wind Waker and Twilight Princess on the go. Oh my gosh, my heart. Please let this be true.
