Re: Opinion: Nintendo Needs To Let Us Block The Crap On Switch 2's eShop

AmyTheBrawler

There's far too much crap clogging up the e-Shop & it's already slow as is. If it was me I'd flag the Hentai/ecchi stuff as well as the AI & those awful "brain rot" phone games that are usually flooded with endless ads every few movements on the phone side. It's seriously annoying that I can't flawlessly go through the coming soon section without seeing some variation of that garbage on there. Nintendo is already draconian with the legal stuff why not bring some of that to the e-Shop to curbstomp the endless slop on their shop? Hentai/ecchi banned because the kids could come across it if the parents are too lazy to work the parental controls.

Re: Random: Don't Let Pets Wii On Your Switch, Warns Nintendo

AmyTheBrawler

It didn't say any warning about my sister's naughty cat, Cupid CHEWING & destroying any cable she can get her furry claws on.

It wasn't just my Wii U Gamepad cable that faced her wrath, my second Switch Dock's AC Adapter ended up destroyed from the inside so that dock is just "decoration" till I order a replacement with cable protectors, plus two Roku hubs among others.

Next time, I may let her lick a Switch Cartridge, I hope she likes Sonic Superstars.

Gotta buff up the protection on that Switch successor both anti-chew & wee resistance.

Re: Nintendo Music's Next Batch Of Tracks Will Arrive Next Week

AmyTheBrawler

@AstroTheGamosian I see mentions of Star Fox Assault & I get excited. I hope we could get the music from the cutscenes without the voices & sound effects, I seriously love the bit of music where Pigma shows up to cause chaos.

Even the music where Peppy sacrifices himself is wonderful... I'm such a sucker for ANYTHING Star Fox Assault-related.

I seriously love this app but my phone (Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra) on the other hand, is saying the app is driving it's storage up the wall.

Re: UK Charts: Mario Party Jamboree Rolls A Winner In Its Debut Week

AmyTheBrawler

Jamboree is a fun experience now if only Luigi could stop screwing me over every second, it'd be great. Really didn't help that I landed on an Imposter Bowser space & lost 40 coins AS BOWSER because I had a Jamboree buddy being Jr. Next incident was losing 60 coins because Yoshi was with me & I didn't want to lose a star. Unfortunately, I got a Ztar as Bowser from Imposter Bowser yesterday, as most of the insanity happened yesterday... wonderful moments, lol.

I'm glad Jamboree is doing well, it's fun & exciting.

Re: Some Fans Aren't Happy About Sonic X Shadow Generations' Changes To The Original

AmyTheBrawler

I'd say good, they got rid of that very rude face-block that Sonic does to Amy because it's considered a very rude gesture in Japan, but yeah 10's Amy was severely Sonic-brained so she deserved it in a way.

I will say that I hate the bland, soulless brick we have now, it's not maturity, they're stripping Amy of her one other trait because "HoW dArE sHe luvs Sonic, she stalker & must be removed from canon entirely!!!1!!!1!11!!", she's supposed to be kind & love Sonic. Not some character who is just kind &.... just kind of there for no reason... the haters who demonized her are awful & now we all paid the price & the people who hate her, STILL hate her. The Sonic fandom is a disease that even sanitizer can't fix because the fandom is never happy.

At least now we got a joke saying that Classic Sonic probably ate the rest of the island, way to screw up, Sega. Change the script but leave the animation as is, lol.

Now I'm leaving to scrub my brain thoroughly & I'll definitely be waiting for a discount on the game because Shadow Generations is the only reason why I'm gonna be buying the game in the first place.

Re: Poll: Which Are Your Favourite Minigames In Super Mario Party Jamboree?

AmyTheBrawler

Granite Getaway is my favorite because I played on it tons back on Wii, I also loved Defuse or Lose because of nostalgia. Now, is it just me or does Bowser cover more spark issues? The showdown one I could never figure out was Luigi’s Rescue Operation, that last one stumps me, now Peach's Day Off was nice especially the one where you bring donuts to her, Mario & Luigi kept bumping into each other while me, as Bowser would bring the group the bigger trays with no bump issues. Yoshi's got a strong back when it comes to carrying Bowser over to the finish line in the race, even when Shy Guy's had the advantage with the fruit, the King of the Koopas (me), still comes out on top.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates Gate Key-pers because of how random it is, I'm either second or last when it comes to it. I really loved Juiceworks, it's fun for me be it grabbing an apple or pulling the lever to the proper juice level. Prime Cut is fun trying to balance out each portion, I only did it wrong once, lol.

I haven't tried out the motion minigames yet but have done the Koopathlon ones, the Bowser ones are hard especially the treasure chest one with the Bob-Ombs, never won it. Kaboom Squad with the matching can be hard the faster it goes to reach that S Rank, it's worth it.

All & all, some suck or some are great. I just wished Leaf Leap wasn't trapped in a challenge as that one was also my jam as a child back then.

Now I want to apologize for the long Mario Party essay, I couldn't help it.

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Super Mario Party Jamboree?

AmyTheBrawler

Haven't tried out the motion controlled minigames, or Koopathlon or Bowser's Kaboom Squad yet most of the minigames are fun aside from cookie cutters, it sucks when you don't have partners & it took like multiple tries for me when I was helping out Kamek with the party. Of course the bane of my existence was Luigi’s minigame that combination was a nightmare to figure out.

The main Mario Party was fun... until Luigi screwed me over by swapping all my stars with Shy Guy's because of Chance Time tossing me in third place near the last few turns from where I could never recover... at least I back handed him when he tried to challenge me for another star & he tried the absolutely nothing method making it easy for me.

Fun game, may have to try out more to really get a feel for things & attempt online one day.

Re: Anniversary: 8 Years Since Nintendo Unveiled Switch, The World Awaits The Next Reveal

AmyTheBrawler

The Switch was the best thing to happen to Nintendo, the Wii U walked so the Switch could run & fix the damage.

I'll always remember how the commercial for Super Mario Odyssey tugged at me so hard I just had to get a Switch for Christmas.

Now the Switch could slow down so the Switch 2 can sprint right off to print more big bucks with maybe superior NSO+ offerings that the new beast can handle better & start the stability train all over again.

Here's to possibly 10 years to the Switch as Nintendo hinted they wanted to keep supporting the hybrid around the 10 year mark.

Re: F-Zero 99 Updated To Version 1.5.1, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

AmyTheBrawler

I am loving this game, I just unlocked the last emote to get the shiny decals a few hours ago. I struggled so hard to get Blue Falcon's alt decal while I tried a few times to get the Golden Fox alt while Fire Stingray & Wild Goose was fairly easy if I don't abuse boost on the Fire Stingray or get bumped over & over as the Wild Goose.

Wonder if we'll see more updates down the line as I read somewhere that there's a Forest I+II & a Metal Fort course when I looked up what the BS F-Zero stuff was.

Re: Review: Super Mario Party Jamboree (Switch) - Only The Best Game In The Series

AmyTheBrawler

@Vil my biased memory says 5 is the best for me because that was the first time Koopa Kid, Toad & Boo were playable, plus I loved the dream theme. Although 6 is awesome because of the day & night theme & Koopa Kid & co. are fully playable in all modes... even if the story mode-like thing with the exact roll sucked, lol. I still enjoyed it. I gotta revisit both sometime & I hope GameCube NSO is a thing so we get the 4-7 collection with maybe a mic add-on made for the hybrid?
