Re: A New Tomodachi Life Game Is Coming To Switch Next Year

AmyTheBrawler

@Asaki in my case, the children have overruned the port to the point I can’t send them off & I still carry my original model 3DS XL with me, no greens. Even had a case where a brother & sister OC miis married each other & I was like "nope, not happening." I had to give the male mii "facial & hair surgery" to stop that moment. Maybe we'll see different relationship things with miis that aren't the "look-alike" mii in this new game.

Now miis can fight in public & pass wind on the sandy beaches, I wonder if they'll censor the creative misspelling of bad words this time, it did kill me hearing their robot voices curse like wounded sailors while singing to the point I had to hit the bell to stop from cry laughing so hard.

You think they may fix the large marriage age gaps because a 26 year old mii married a 90-something year old mii on my game.

Re: Random: Takaya Imamura Wants To See Star Fox: Assault On Switch 2

AmyTheBrawler

This was my first Star Fox game that introduced me to both it's world & Krystal as well (Can't forget Panther Caroso, either with the rose-decaled Wolfen) & I hold it fondly in my heart. I would absolutely love for this underrated gem to come back with some improvements, online, amiibo functionality, more content, maybe improve the AI in Star Wolf so they constantly tail me non-stop & actually chase my allies instead of the remnants of Andross' army doing it.

Definitely let there be bots in the multiplayer so I could have a challenge taking them down instead of wiping out an idle player over & over, lol.

Maybe there could be a change in reviews this time because Zero also wasn't it & that was 64 or original Star Fox, but worse.

I wouldn't care if it was shadow-dropped or announced in any Direct for Switch 1 or Switch 2, I want to see it again because I'm not dragging a GameCube or Wii between two houses just to play it, plugging it up would be a bit cumbersome especially if the entertainment center isn't roomy enough for either.

Re: Star Fox-Inspired Space Shooter 'FUR Squadron' Is Getting A Switch 2 Sequel This Year

AmyTheBrawler

I may as well get that when it becomes available to scratch my Star Fox itch, that clip hooked me instantly & I don't even have the first Fur Squadron yet. Pretty sad Star Fox gets next to nothing on the Switch (no I will not count Starlink) aside from the retro titles & Star Fox 2 that hardly scratch that itch. I'd even wish for a remaster or a remake (not of 64, Zero already killed that with the horrid controls).

Re: Sony Does What Nintendon't By Removing A Bunch Of 'eSlop' Titles

AmyTheBrawler

This is why we need a block feature for those low-effort & literal softcore porn publishers, all that is hiding all the good games under a mountain of manure. I hope the Switch 2's e-Shop doesn't become an e-Slop 2, built-in filter system to block certain keywords, mines would be hentai, those awful mobile games & low effort AI added to a block list.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (8th February)

AmyTheBrawler

F-Zero 99 - failed to get first while using Wild Goose on 99 mode, did the random lottery & got no matches either.

Guilty Gear Strive Nintendo Switch Edition - Lost numerous times to Nagoriyuki as Millia Rage on Arcade as I had no partner to assist me. Turns out I had to lose to my partner character to keep him/her around for normal fights & then brute force every other rival by cornering them repeatedly until I got to Nagoriyuki, who still destroyed me anyway. I think around 7 losses later I beat him for World Dollars to use on fishing because I'm broke. Then I started on the Story mode, first I watched 2 chapters one night, the following night I attempted Chipp's arcade while repeating the process, May didn't show up for the fight against Nagoriyuki who wiped the floor with me because stupid Faust ended me beforehand, I restarted his arcade mode then May showed up after I brutalized everyone on normal. It took around 3-4 tries to beat Nago. For the story mode I watched chapters 3 & 4. Next day I didn't play any arcade mode, just watched chapters 5 & 6 which felt longer than the previous chapters, I may possibly start on chapter 7 tonight if I'm not lazy.

I may download the Donkey Kong Country Returns HD demo to try it out if I don't forget again.

Re: Guilty Gear -Strive- Nintendo Switch Edition

AmyTheBrawler

I'm enjoying it so far, I got owned at least 7 times by the arcade boss as Testament & even got a double KO out of the ordeal that I saved as a clip. Crawl is jammed right in my brain & I even managed to spend all of my World Dollars in the span of two days collecting whatever random thing I can. Game runs great on Switch even with some tweaking.

Mains: Sol & Testament as of right now.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (1st February)

AmyTheBrawler

Just started Guilty Gear Strive Nintendo Switch Edition & boy am I rusty just fighting in versus mode against CPUs, Zato-1 nearly wiped the floor with me. I could waste hours just fishing for the background music among other things. I should head on over to arcade mode for more in-game currency. I'm gonna avoid online so I don't get a Thunderseal & such shoved up where the sun don't shine in 30 seconds or less.

Re: Review: Guilty Gear -Strive- Nintendo Switch Edition (Switch) - A Fine Port & A Bold New Step

AmyTheBrawler

I'm gonna be getting my copy on February 1st from Amazon because the Walmart near me didn't have it. Hopefully, I hadn't lost my muscle memory on how to perform the Gun Flame.

I may stick to offline for a few days before I get my a$$ handed to me on a silver platter online as Sol.

I watched a few gameplay videos on the Switch version before making my decision that I'm buying it, I'm in for both the battles & the excellent soundtrack, I love the retro soundtrack from the previous games as well as the new vocal tracks, can't wait to see Venom again.

Re: Random: Switch 2 Leakers Called Out By Industry Veteran Hideki Kamiya

AmyTheBrawler

I loved Kamiya's rage-fueled rant with the poo references, yeah leakers ruin everything & that's why Nintendo needs to retire the 150+ year old hamster wheel for actual security. I already saw a bunch of crybabies in the comment section of the Switch 2's trailer baw-ing about everything from the Switch 2 to that Mario Kart game where Donkey Kong looks closer to his classic look.

Re: Feature: Biggest Nintendo Gaming Anniversaries Of 2025

AmyTheBrawler

I hope to see Star Fox Assault make it's return someday with some changes like online dogfights, also Yoshi's Woolly World, I really loved that one. Sadly, watch Star Fox get left out in the cold again because every game after it fails to live up to the N64 title, which I find slightly overrated at times.

Re: Opinion: Nintendo Needs To Let Us Block The Crap On Switch 2's eShop

AmyTheBrawler

There's far too much crap clogging up the e-Shop & it's already slow as is. If it was me I'd flag the Hentai/ecchi stuff as well as the AI & those awful "brain rot" phone games that are usually flooded with endless ads every few movements on the phone side. It's seriously annoying that I can't flawlessly go through the coming soon section without seeing some variation of that garbage on there. Nintendo is already draconian with the legal stuff why not bring some of that to the e-Shop to curbstomp the endless slop on their shop? Hentai/ecchi banned because the kids could come across it if the parents are too lazy to work the parental controls.
