Man I wish I was struggling like Nintendo apparently are 😆

My Top3 most played games were, in reverse order… Animal Well, DOOM 2016 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe! Pleased to see DOOM there, it was the first game I downloaded when I got my OG Switch and I LOVED it, and I really enjoyed playing through it again in 2025! My Switch2 will take over this year, I’m seriously LOVING MK World, I’ll start Silk Song next, and I can’t wait to get DK Bananza and Resident Evil in the future! Here’s to a good year 🥂

Nice to see Metroid Prime still there, and climbing this week. It would have got mentioned for sure, if not the headline, if it had disappeared from the charts. Glad that’s not the case

That’s quite the negative, pessimistic and almost aggressive article! I choose to be optimistic for you, I really hope things improve.

Mario Kart World for sure… in fact I already have 😆 Tetris 99, got the Animal Crossing theme secured and I might start Hollow Knight Silk Song this weekend. My son will also be playing MK World and Splatoon 3. I really love that I can vote for Switch2 games now ☺️

I’m so excited for this. I really hope that A, the game itself is good, (surely it will be!), and B, the Switch2 version is a quality port… so far so promising on that front!

Ridiculous overreaction from those previews, seemed like there was a narrative and I have no doubt the negativity had an impact on sales. So much negativity surrounding Nintendo in the last year or so, not all unjustified, certainly, but there’s definitely been an agenda when even somewhere like here falls in line at times… in my opinion, anyway. Still love the place, but it’s felt different recently.

I can finally vote for Mario Kart World 😆 the game is fantastic by the way, even my son is loving it and he was never the biggest MK fan.

If I can bring myself to open my Switch2, I’ll be downloading MK World and Silk Song! For sure, Pikmin Bloom, I’m currently getting ready to run the annual Christmas Cracker in Castlewellan and I’ll be planting beautiful flowers on the way! Wish me luck, approximately 8mile but we don’t get told the route till we get there 😆 Have a lovely weekend.

Merry Christmas everyone! My son has disappeared with his Switch2, my niece has one, my nephew has one… and so do I ☺️ I have been saving for my own as many of you know, but my wife’s uncle has got me one. He’s not a very well man and I’ve helped him out with things at home and appointments etc and to my complete and utter shock, my wife gave me a Switch2 this morning from him. I can’t even look at it right now to be honest, I’m so embarrassed… but ultimately extremely grateful and happy. Have a wonderful day everyone involved with @NintendoLife, staff and visitors alike ❤️

@GrailUK the US equals the whole world, didn’t you know? 😆 Michael Jackson’s Thriller is the worlds largest selling album in music HIStory, by far, but the US media report an Eagles greatest hits album as such, because apparently it has sold more in the US, and that’s all matters 😆

Love to see DK doing so well, that’s the game I’m most excited for when I get my own Switch2

Interesting to see what this does to sales of hardware and MKW itself, or if Nintendo have someone else up their sleeves. My son’s bundle was secured long ago and I’ll be wrapping it up in exactly two days time. I’ll be getting my own Switch2 at some point next year, I wonder what options I’ll have bar the system on its own?

Did they release a statement explaining themselves? I feel like these developers should have to address their paying customers. They and others seem content to just buck their games out there knowing they can and should do better, but can and WILL get away with it. I’ve said it before, but we deserve better.

Still number 1 on the Switch2 eShop, via the Nintendo Store app. It has tumbled on the Switch eShop though, interestingly enough!

It’s outrageous the state games get released in. I KNOW problems can be identified and ironed out once a game is in the hands of the paying public, but this is not ok and should not be supported or rewarded at all. Not a good look!

Don’t know about the game, but JAWS is possibly my favourite movie ever made. The book is great too.

Quick look at the Nintendo Store App and this game is currently number 2 on the Nintendo Switch2 charts, behind Beyond at numero uno

@Old-Red oh yeah, that is priceless. I so wanted a Switch for myself, but even better was getting one just for my son for Christmas, letting him have all the joy and kudos of it being his alone. I got mine the following May, and I’m doing the same with Switch2. I’m slowly saving for my own, but my boy will have his very own on Christmas morning.

Ha, all I wanted one year was a SEGA Saturn. My brother and I were too old for Santa so my Dad and his… I wanna say mate, but more accurate would be crony, Paddy Wacker took us shopping and gave us a budget… all I wanted was that SEGA Saturn though, and my late Dad got me it and Street Fighter Alpha2 ☺️

That’s a real shame! I did pull the trigger on Age of Imprisonment last week, it arrived this morning. It’s for Christmas for my son to accompany his Switch 2 and MKW, very excited for him.

I have massive respect for Panic Button, DOOM was the first game I downloaded from the eShop back in 2018, and I played through it again this year. Had so much fun with that game, hats off 👏

I was out for a family dinner on Friday and my 7 year old nephew had his head in his Mum’s phone most of the evening. When I asked him what he was playing, he said Brainrot. Looked like the very definition of AI slop to me.

I’ve still to pick it up in the next week or two for my son for Christmas, he’ll love it. Some great Nintendo representation throughout the charts. The price of games now, people will definitely be more picky.

Teletext was such a big part of my teenage years! I loved Digitizer with Mr. Bigfoot lol and that’s where I first heard of Mar10 day, as that was how it was displayed on teletext! Planet Sound, the football pages, seeing tv viewing numbers… lol that was a glorious time 😆
