Correct me if I’m wrong @JimNorman, but isn’t the Minecraft title in the Top10 the Nintendo version? Love to see Hogwarts riding high and doing so well on Switch specifically.

My son loved it, for a long time it was his most played game on Switch. Looks so cool too, great aesthetic.

Majority of people not happy that Switch 2 JoyCons not having Hall Effect sticks don’t even know what it means. Faux outrage and concern, because that’s the world we live in. Always looking for the negative, share and repeat something someone said somewhere.

Even in its death throes, the Switch family of systems are walking all over the PS5. Hilarious. The only thing funnier will be if Switch continues to outperform the PS5 when Switch 2 hits. I can see it happening.

Managed to get a preorder from My Nintendo UK last week. Was at work but they were available… my problem was getting it in the basket! The website was struggling all day but I kept checking when I had a chance and finally got the MKW hardware bundle in the basket and checked out. It will be for my son for Christmas and I cannot wait. I’ll keep saving and hopefully get myself one next year.

Again, isn’t that Minecraft title in the Top10 the Switch version? Great seeing Hogwarts Legacy continue to sell well, and in particular on Nintendo hardware.

Delighted to see @JaxonH making Star Letter! I’ll go back and read the rest now 😅 Also great to hear about Switch 2 Editions and upgrades getting covered, reviewed. Begs the question about the embarrassment of NOT reviewing Hogwarts Legacy, which has been a massive hit on Switch and my son is very excited about potential upgrades for Switch 2. Little does he know I now have secured him a launch day Switch 2 with MKW, but it’ll be for Christmas.

@MoldyPasta my son is currently playing Hollow Knight, he borrowed my digital copy thanks to the recent Switch update. He finally agrees with me that it is indeed a masterpiece! 😅

It’ll be hilarious if Switch 2 dominates, as you’d expect… but the Switch 1 family of systems continue to outsell PS5. The weekly software numbers might not be high, but considering the lifetime sales of the Switch titles charting here, I’d argue they’re very impressive indeed at this moment in time.

@MamaSymphonia NintendoLife knew what they were doing with their tagline though. They’re encouraging the negativity, I know engagement is what they all want, and I’m aware I’m giving it to them right now, but I’m getting really turned off recently with all the negativity and ‘controversy’

Super Mario World is such a special game, practically perfect. I will love it if the next movie is named after it.

I have been playing this game on and off since release day… as in, the original release of the Wii U version. I remember it arriving as I was getting ready for work, and I couldn’t resist firinqg it up for a quick look at it in action. It’s damn near perfect on Switch and I hope Mario Kart World lives up to the mighty Mario Kart 8.

It’s exactly what everyone says it is, whether they like it or not. Pokémon with guns. Nintendo couldn’t take THAT to court, so they looked for other ways to get them, they always, always knew this would happen, no point playing the victim or painting Nintendo as the bad guy now, they’ve made a fortune.

Well with the new Switch update, I’m going to borrow a virtual game card from my son and play Pikmin 1 for the very first time! I absolutely adore Pikmin 3 and have beat it on Wii U and Switch many times, and I was delighted with Pikmin 4. Now it’s time to finally experience where it all began.

NintendoLife is the only place I frequent, never heard of Giant Bomb. I still miss Official Nintendo Magazine and the good old days of C&VG magazine, loved them!

It’ll be 120 smackers by then. All Nintendo’s fault no doubt 😆 🙃 🫠

I was under the impression that Minecraft in the Top10, is the Switch version? EA Sports FC, or whatever the heck ya call it, and the mighty Hogwarts selling best on Switch is great to see

It’s dead on, I open it most days, I like to see what the Pikmin are doing when they reveal the date for the day, have a little scroll, and that’s about it. Nothing earth shattering so far but pretty cute and fun.

Just levelled up a Pikmin that I got in New York last week, sent him back for his decor… the Switch 2 will be out before he makes it back to me in the North of Ireland 😅

Calm before the storm? I’m just back from New York and thankfully I got to visit the Nintendo New York store and it was a great experience. Very busy, but no mention or trace of Switch 2 as yet! I didn’t see anyone camping outside, either 😅 got myself a Mario tee, my son got a Pikmin jumper, I’m quite proud to say, and I got my niece a Princess Peach tee, but keeping that for her birthday!

I wish I had the time to try even a fraction 😅 I have played some of my all time favourites, like Super Mario World, Yoshi’s Island, Killer Instinct, DKC etc and found a few new classics like Mario Picross. I love it, great value as far as I’m concerned.

Soul Calibur on Dreamcast was one of those games that I can say TRULY blew me away. It looked absolutely incredible.

Any Switch 2s going for cheap 😅 I have been a bit disheartened recently but I am excited for launch and for my fellow fans who’ll be able to get in on launch day. Looking forward to joining in the fun further down the line

@Freek ha, loved your comment! I’ll be 44 in May but I sat grinning like a loon the whole way through the Switch 2 Direct! My kids, nieces and nephews were all buzzing… for me 😆 for financial reasons I won’t be getting the new hardware anytime soon, sadly, but I am very excited for launch and fellow fans who will be on board in the coming months.
