Bullies, ugh. I’ve been bullied and mocked most of my life for my love for Michael Jackson, but I’m proud to be his fan, 30+ years now, and I always will be. Thanks for sharing Ollie. I bought a GameCube with RE4, Mario Kart Double Dash and Viewtiful Joe. Three absolutely incredible games, RE4 was mind blowing to me. Metroid Prime as well, truly stunning. Good times!

@ChakraStomps it really deserves a review, especially now with the Switch 2 version being a massive improvement on a game my son adores on Switch 1. Still leaves a really bad taste in my mouth they chose not to review.

Nice to see Hogwarts performing so well, especially on Nintendo hardware. Lots of Switch games getting a boost too. Good times, hope it keeps up. For Father’s Day my kids got me a money tin with a pic of a Switch 2 slapped on to it, so the saving for my own has officially commenced 😆

@WiltonRoots it’s funny because I was late outta work and I had to walk home in the POURING rain here, then go back down the street to get my daughter 😆 I’m playing MK8D on my Switch 1 while every single person currently online on my Friend List is playing there shiny Switch 2s… but I’m in a good mood too regardless 😊

My son is really invested in Splatoon 3 at the minute, I mean loving it all over again. So excited for Christmas for him to get the benefit of playing on Switch 2!

Some people seem to want these things to drift 🙄 a lot of negativity surrounding Switch 2, very weird and random. Some folks don’t like to see people, companies, entities, THINGS do well, not for too long anyway. I’m excited for Christmas Day, and then hopefully I’ll get my own some time in 2026

@Flashlink99 my son absolutely loves it on Switch. He’s 14 and is not easily fobbed off. I have secured him a Switch 2 for Christmas and I’m excited to see how much better it is there, but take nothing away from the Switch version, he has enjoyed it immensely.

I think we can put to bed now the line that UK is not Nintendo friendly. The Wii U was a disaster everywhere and Nintendo hardware might not always dominate here, but they’re not exactly niche either.

This game has been a big smash on Switch, this was a no brainer

@Rainz ah, I did the same with Switch 1 so I know I can do it lol. He got his for Christmas because I really liked the thought of the first Switch in our house being his alone, instead of a family console like the Wii U, which got him in to Nintendo in the first place. I thought it would be really cool for him, and I got my own the following May!

Buggers didn’t even credit me, I’ve been buying and playing Mario Kart games since the SNES. I bought MK8 three, THREE times dag-nabbit, + the DLC AND Booster Pack! Nintendo are just the worst… 🙄

I have the hardware bundle with MKW, it’s for my son, for Christmas. I cannot imagine I would fork out the £74.99 retailers are currently asking for MKW. I don’t think I will EVER spend that, at once, on one single game, no matter what it is or who it’s from. I bought MK8 at launch for Wii U, and I got Pikmin 3 free at the same time. I bought the DLC too, on Wii U. I have since bought MK8D digitally, on sale, for my Switch, and bought another copy for my daughter when she wanted her own Switch a few Christmas’ ago. When I (hopefully) get my own Switch 2 at some point in 2026, I’ll be extremely picky about what games I get, because of cost. That’s just the way it is gonna have to be for me.

I’ve been playing a lot of MK8D this week, my daughter and her boyfriend are playing Super Mario 3D World right now on her Switch, and my son has been LOVING Splatoon 3 all over again just recently, so he’s been flat out on that on his Switch. There’s one Switch2 in our house right now but it’s safely hidden till December 25th. I sincerely hope I can get one for myself in 2026. Have fun everyone!

@Qwiff Yoshi’s Woolly World… I honestly fell in love with that game from the very first, single screenshot I saw in Official Nintendo Magazine, a long time ago 😆 it was ages before it actually released but I absolutely adored it when it did. Still stunning to look at and so much fun to play. Yoshi’s Island is one of my favourite games ever and for my Woolly World is right up there with it.

@Ristar24 midnight resistance! I had that on C64 I think… I’m sure it bears little resemblance to the MegaDrive version, but in my mind’s eye it was incredible back then on the Commodore!

Michael Jackson?! I may have to get this game when I (hopefully) get myself a Switch 2 next year! I bought Space Channel5, Ready2Rumble Boxing Round2 and even Ghost Trick because of links and tributes to MJ lol. Unless it’s in a mean spirited way here?
