Once again the SWOLED sku has easily outsold all three iterations of the PS5 combined… in fact, you can tot up the combined sales of the PS5, PS4 and every Microsoft piece of hardware and they still wouldn’t challenge the Nintendo Switch OLED Edition’s sales. That is hilarious.

One of my personal Top5 games… ever. I love it, and I remember that 1995 when you boot it up. I adore Donkey Kong Country, but I bought this game almost in defiance of the big deal made about DKC’s graphics.

If I had a Switch 2, I’d consider it’s not just stable, but STABLE. Alas, I do not. My son’s is safely hidden away though and will remain so until December 25th 😆 I am more excited about just how much more STABLE it will be by then, my mind cannot currently conceive the potential stability.

@OorWullie I believe that version is specifically the Switch version! They all have their own editions and would therefore appear individually on this chart.

Nintendo are all OVER that Top40. Beautiful. According to Amazon UK, DKB has sold 10,000+ in the past month, MK8D 3000+ and Mario Kart World just 300 units. This tells us that the vast majority of World’s sales are coming from the bundle… and that Nintendo are doing fantastically well right now.

@SBandy1 put it like this for… certain people. If I go to Amazon UK, it tells me DKB has sold 10K+ in the past month. Mario Kario World has sold 400+ in the past month, that’s 400 units, not four thousand. Believe it or not, MK8D has sold 3K+ in the past month, on Amazon UK. Which game is number one on the official UK charts? Mario Kart World. The vast majority of MKW sales are coming from the hardware bundle, and I’d imagine this trend is being replicated on the majority of platforms, worldwide.

When you go to Amazon UK, it’s sold ‘10K+ bought in past month’. And what do you mean by, one other potential explanation? The Switch 2 has been out less than two months. It’s a big part of any sales figures at this point, not a potential explanation.

The discourse and negativity gets me down too, and sadly Nintendo Life have, in my opinion and much to my surprise, contributed to it. That’s my feelings on coming here more recently, and I have never felt like that in all my many years visiting.

@OorWullie Galaxy is truly stunning game, I remember when I had fully rinsed it out, all I wanted was more 😅 so Galaxy 2 was exactly what I wanted.

I have to say, I was excited for DK from our very first look!

Mario Kart World and 8 Deluxe doing the business on a global scale! Both titles ongoing success are an indication of how well their respective hardware is doing, long may it continue. Still saving for mine, slowly but surely 😅
