Started Neon White. On episode 4 now.
Really fun gameplay and perfect for gyro controls.
Though I've never skipped this much dialogue before in a game. Thankfully there's a text fast-forward feature for people like me who can't stand the story and characters

Looking forward to see the end cutscenes having absolutely no idea what's happening

Just bought a physical copy of Arkanoid Eternal Battle so will be breaking some blocks.

On MiSTer i'll be playing Resident Evil 3 and try out the Saturn version of Castlevania Symphony of the night. Have played the PS1 version tons of times so it will be interesting to see the differences

PAC-MAN World RePAC, Two Point Campus and Resident Evil 1.

Finished Ship of Fools in co-op and Gunbrella yesterday.
Really liked em both but ship of fools is way to janky to play at least on switch. Regular stuttering while reloading and moving cannons around really screws you over sometimes.
Hopefully the team can make a better more polished sequel with more variation in levels and bosses

@ScalenePowers
Curse of the sea rats is really fun.

But keep in mind it's kinda janky at least on switch. I'm playing it coop with a friend and getting close to the end. After a while my friends character keeps missing most of his attacks and we had to restart the game to fix it.

It happened again after a while but at least restarting helps

Went shopping last weekend and saw a game named The Knight Witch. Said on the back it's a mix of a Shoot em up and metroidvania.

Been playing it this week and am getting close to the end.
Really fun game! So rare these days to find a game in store i've never heard about and buying based on "seems kinda cool"

Love metroidvanias but it's so refreshing finding those with more unique movement systems.
Dandara is another great one in that regard

Been playing this a lot today. It's a really fun version of a great game. It needs some more polish though. The sword and some items don't work exactly like they're supposed too. Slightly too slow. Audio disappeared couple if times. Softlocked a couple of times but restarting the game solved it for me. Thankfully it does have an auto-save feature

Just got to the seventh dungeon. It feels so cool to be able to see the world be alive all at once instead of just one screen

Re: Talking Point: What Are The Worst Parts Of Your Favourite Games?

Aispen

The Poison river in Mario Sunshine.
Slowly jumping from boat to boat with a fruitcraving, water-allergic Yoshi then collecting red coins while surfing on a fragile leaf over instant-death poison water is a tad annoying (scream into pillow)

Obviously the blue coins also suck but that could be fixed by adding a coin-counter per level or something.

Switch version of Duke nukem 3D co-op with a buddy. And this time i'll remember not to looking stuff up if we're stuck since the game disconnects you and everyone in the lobby if you're idle for 20 seconds....

I'll also finish Mario RPG.
Usually play these remakes with all the new features but after changing between original and the new soundtrack frequently the new one just sounds boring and flat to me.

Is it weird i liked the first Paper Mario a bit more then The Thousand Year Door? I even played ttyd first

Only mario & luigi i played was dream team bros, which i quit after being terrorised by tutorials

Picked up Baldo again since the final update released. Finished main campaign earlier this year but started the first of three expansion campaigns.
I like the game but can't recommend it, at least the switch version. Runs poorly and still crashed on me once with the latest patch.

Love the world design but the game needs a remake sometime in the future

I usually go back to Super Nintendo. More precisely a sort of speedrun of Aladdin. I usually play through this a few times a year.

Maybe a randomizer-run of A link to the past and super metroid

I have a feeling Vampire Survivors will play this role as well in the future
