Been playing the fan translation of Ni No Kuni 1 on DS. Wrath of the White Witch is one of my favorite jrpg's and it's been interesting to see the differences between the two. Just got the Gladion/Mornstar.
Close-ish to beating Anno: Mutationem.
I don't like the beatemup combat but the world, graphics and story are interesting enough for me to finish it since it's not that long.
I'll also play a bit more of Oddworld 1 and Metal Gear VR missions.
Later some co-op with Bite the Bullet and/or some Contra games.
(Maybe) Finishing up Revita and Silent Hill 2 remake. Revita is a really basic but fun roguelite.
I'm about 3/4 through SH2R and loving it. Playing that with surround sound and true blacks on my OLED tv is just horrifying.
The melee and dodging feels a bit too much like calisto protocol but thankfully much better.
Played the original ps2 version for the first time last year and it's impressive how good the remake is although both are very much worth playing through.
Started playing Silent Hill 2 remake and will play Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. Beat Strangers Wrath a few months ago and decided to try to play all oddworld games this year including the originals and remakes. Also might play some Gravity Circuit
Still getting through Breath of Fire 3 🐲 and Core Keeper. Will try to beat them before next weekend. Might do my first playthrough of the Remixed run in Savant Ascent Remix
I've been using dekudeals for about 4 years now. It is strangely therapeutic to block awful games. Just looked it up now and i've blocked/hidden just over 7000 switch games.
Got close to beating Shadow of the Ninja Reborn co-op last night. It got way to late and in turn our brains turned into mush at the most difficult levels so we decided to play through the final level tonight instead. After that maybe Gravity Circuit.
I got a grip for my analogue pocket which actually makes it possible for me to play with the shoulder-buttons without breaking my hands. Might play through the gba version of A link to the past for the first time
Today i'll play through Inti creates new zeldaish game Divine Dynamo Flamefrit. Going to a work christmas-party tonight so tomorrow will probably be a lot of hungover Dragon quest 3
Man, time flies. It's almost two years ago since i beat chained echoes and immediately ordered the collector's edition because i loved it so much. That was probably a waste...
I'm looking forward to play part of my backlog with hopefully better performance. Games like Monster hunter stories 2, dragon quest monsters made me nauseous. I beat echoes of wisdom but saved completing it for switch 2
Running around in The Pathless. Beautiful game as expected from Journey and Abzu devs. Close-ish to beating it. Continuing Dino Crisis 2 later tonight and might start Afterdream tomorrow.
Played through circle of the moon a month or two ago. Beat the other two gba games earlier in october, then Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of ruin since last weekend. Just beat Portrait last night and started Order of Ecclesia today.
Will also start Dino Crisis 2 later today with a friend 🦖
Close-ish-maybe to beating Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance. Having much more fun with it than i had with Circle of the Moon but the map can be confusing
Well ZeldaZelda is the obvious one, but other than that i'm playing through Metal Gear Solid 3 again, trying to do a full non-lethal run while using the crocodile hat as much as possible
Trying to finish up Steamworld Heist 2. Loved the first one and while i enjoy this one too, the world exploration with the sub is really boring to me. Had the same problem with the mario+rabbids games. In my mind tactical games are best when they stick to tactics, planning and upgrading.
Started the DS version of Ni No Kuni for the first time. The "Wrath of the white witch" version is one of my favorite rpg's so i've been wanting to play the original ds version for years.
On playstation i've been playing Astro Bot the last few days. Just amazing! Definitively in my top 3 so far this year along Animal Well and Crypt Custodian
This weekend is all about modern sequels to 2 of my favorite NES games. Gimmick 2 and Ufouria/Hebereke 2
Only played the first level of Gimmick 2 but so far so good!
Ufouria 2 has maybe my favorite artstyle ever. It's such a wonderful/weird world!
If i beat both of those i'll try to play through the rest of "For a Vast Future" since i'm not too far from the end
Been playing Crypt Cystodian the last few days and loving it! Might beat it this weekend.
Later i'll play Beholgar with a buddy.
I've also been playing a bit of Castlevania Rondo of Blood for the first time. After too many replays of Symphony of the Night it's time to play the prequel
Wanna use my MiSTer alot this weekend.
Thinking of playing getsu fuma den on famicom and crusaders of centy on megadrive.
Will also sprinkle some steamworld heist 2 and Oniken in there
Beat castaway last night which was fun but really felt like a demo for links awakening styled zelda-clone. Hopefully they make a sequel. Might beat Odallus this weekend. Had it my backlog for a few years and started playing it this week. Pretty good so far!
Well Eiyuden Chronicle is finally patched to a playable state so I'll play a lot of that! Just got to the castle.
A store close to me had a nintendo sale so i grabbed princess peach showtime and mario vs donkey kong for about a decent price. Also grabbed You suck at parking on switch and klonoa on ps5. Might play showtime or klonoa if i need a break from Eiyuden
Finishing up Luigi's Mansion 2 HD right now probably. Just beat the train-level in the last mansion.
Tried to play this on 3DS many dark moons ago but couldn't get into the structure of the game. Also hated how much E.Gadd called you. Turns out it's much more fun when i skip all of his calls 📵
Might also finish up Silent Hill 2 which i'm playing for the first time. A bit more scary than Luigi's Mansion
F-Zero. Driving around in the blue falcon, hopping out and falcon-kick some fool, upgrade your car, upgrade your kicks do sidequests similar to the big goron sword where you need to drive really fast to just about make it.
It would be so stupid but i love it! Star Fox was such a "good" fit so why not
Unlike the stores close to my hometown in norway the gamestores here in spain actually have a great variety of games so i've bought too many. All indie switch-games.
Beat Lacuna, cotton reboot and started Souldiers today.
Also beat Master Key early in the week which i need more people to buy so there's hope for a physical release. If you like Zelda, Tunic and Animal Well then get it!
Went on holiday today. Played Master Key the whole flight. Instantly bought it after i read the n-life post a few days ago. Such a great zelda-like game!
After a couple weeks only playing rpg's (Paper Mario, Baldur's Gate 3) i had to play something short and easy. Just beat Kirby's Dream Land 1 an hour ago for the first time on my pocket. Want to play some metroidvania type game so might start Haak, Ghost Song or Arzette
@NintendoByNature Mr Gimmick on switch has insane input latency. Played it a few months ago and really hated it but decided to give it a go on MiSTer fpga which is accurate to how it's played on NES.
Turned out to be one of my favorite nes games when i could actually control the little green guy
Beat Animal Well a few days ago. My game of the year so far!
Playing paper mario again with the remake which has been lovely.
Got my physical copy of Eiyuden Chronicle yesterday so tried it out a bit. Runs terribly so far. Hopefully the next patch improves it a lot. Might consider another version if not.

Cyber Shadow, Mega Man X Command Mission and Gerda: a flame in winter
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (15th February)
Beat Unsighted last night and just wow. That was amazing! Definitively one of my favorites from 2021 along with Eastward, SMT V and Metroid Dread.
This weekend i'll play more of Afterimage, Conscript and Crypt of the Necrodancer
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (8th February)
Unsighted has been in the backlog for too long so i just started that journey. I'll also continue with Conscript
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (1st February)
Lisa the Painful and Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. It's gonna be a weird weekend

Still getting through Breath of Fire 3 🐲 and Core Keeper. Will try to beat them before next weekend.
Might do my first playthrough of the Remixed run in Savant Ascent Remix
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (New Year Edition)
I'm lost in the caves of Core Keeper and i can't get out. Love this game! Gives me the exact feeling Terraria gave me 10-11 years ago.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (Christmas 2024 Edition)
Just beat the christmas level and the time trials in Astro Bot. Awesome as expected although my hands hurt a bit after the monkey time trial.
On Switch i might start Conscript and/or Core Keeper
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (14th December)
Hopefully beating Dragon Quest 3 today. Might also play Clock Tower Rewind, Ghost Song and 80 Days
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (7th December)
Double shifts at work this weekend but i usually get enough time to play a bit every now and then. A mix of "80 days" and "DQ3"

My copy of Dragon Quest 3 haven't gotten here yet so i'll continue my playthrough of Breath of Fire 3 to satisfy my jrpg cravings
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (9th November)
It's gonna be a dangerous mix of Stardew Valley 1.6, Balatro and Cassette Beasts.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (12th October)
Beat Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath yesterday which was really fun and odd.
I've been playing Eiyuden chronicles every now and then. Getting close to halfway.
Started Anuchard this morning. A top down zelda-like game. Seems decent so far

Kingsley's Adventure on PS1. Seems like a decent zelda-ish game with a fox using a sword and shield. PS1 Tunic 🦊
Also will play Steamworld Heist 2 and some replaying of the new version of Doom. The new Andrew Hulshult soundtrack is great so far 🤟
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (3rd August)
It's the 90's in my household this weekend.
Playing Powerslave Exhumed by myself and Dino Crisis 1 tonight with a friend.
Also been wanting to start Hebereke/Ufouria the saga 1

Love those goofy looking polygons

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (1st June)
Started Baldur's Gate 3 this week. Just threw a halfling-corpse i've had in my inventory for 15 hours on a treasure trap-mechanism
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (25th May)
Beat Animal Well a few days ago. My game of the year so far!
Playing paper mario again with the remake which has been lovely.
Got my physical copy of Eiyuden Chronicle yesterday so tried it out a bit. Runs terribly so far. Hopefully the next patch improves it a lot.
Might consider another version if not.
