Re: Talking Point: What Was Your First Legend Of Zelda Game?

Wind waker. Me and my brother bought the european limited edition that included ocarina of time.

I enjoyed ocarina as well but not even close to wind waker, which is still my favorite. Just beat another randomizer run a few days ago.
Until breath of the wild i never played anything that made me feel like an adventurer like wind waker did

My older brother bought Fusion when it came out and prime a little after that. Don't remember which one i played first but i liked fusion the best, at least until i got to the SA-X part after the spider. I still kinda hate being hunted in games

@garfreek

Final Fantasy X spoilers maybe

It's my first time playing and I'm at the fight with a certain weird looking dude around 17 hours in. I like the change in combat with the character-swapping and it doesn't feel as slooow as the PS1 games can do. The plot hasn't completely caught me yet but i love a good island-theme game

I'll be trying out mario strikers. Never actually played the earlier games but played a looooot of Sega Soccer Slam.

Want to unlock the Chicago Typewriter in RE4 VR but i can't handle hord-mode type challenges so i might have to live with just the infinite launcher

Also finishing up Sniper Elite 5 today

Restarted Final Fantasy X this week so i'll continue with that mostly. Bought it 3 years ago and did not get into it. I'm about 10 hours in and enjoy it much more this time.

Other than that might finally pop in Kirby and start that one

Plus some grappledog for some good boy-time

After the Neon Splash release yesterday i finally managed to continue Demon Turf since i got frustrated and stopped playing it last year. It was a game i really wanted to love but the controls and movement ruined it.
Thankfully lowering the deadzone settings fixed it and now it feels so much better

Started Tunic on xbox and immediately fell in love.

Finished Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for the first time last night which have been in the backlog for about 20 years. It was the first FF game i ever played so playing it again after playing the snes and ps1 FF games was interesting

Started playing the E-reader levels on a romhack of Super Mario 3 on GBA with a proper color palette and the voices removed. "Wahoo"-ing for every action works in 3D-marios but i can't stand it in the 2D games for whatever reason (Probably just nostalgia)

Also some Arceus and Mass Effect 2. Going renegade punching reporters and killing bartenders

@Zeropulse As a huge zelda fan these games feel just right to me. Got used to the controls of the first one faster than i thought i would but the second definitively improves a lot.

Right now i'm in the dungeon filled with water, and i pray i don't die and have to do it again, slooowly.

Great games and i regret never giving them a shot before now
