I would love to shop in my local game more often, but their prices are too high. Even if a game is only £5 more, it is still a lot if you add it all up if you have bought many games from game. I am only 18 and I don't have a lot of money and I certainly don't wonna be using too much from that university maintenance loan (known as college in america?)

Game's argument for higher in-store pricing is invalid, because if they matched amazon's pricing, they will get many more customers which means more money!

I was able to pre order 2 systems, one from shopto and one from amazon just in case one of the pre orders gets cancelled! Unlike most people, I will not put it on ebay or sell it to CEX for ridiculous prices. I will either sell it to someone I know or sell it on ebay... for the actual price I paid for it!! Unlike most people I don't support scalping. I want to earn my money in rightfull ways, not from scalping or stealing.

Today I got an email from shopto saying my pre-order for snes mini is secured!

I pre ordered from Amazon (and shopto just in case)... I hope Amazon drops their price to match Nintendo's price but I doubt they will it would be silly to sell it for more than RRP price.

That's still a good price! I don't understand why people expect games to be super cheap, you need to realise that a lot of work goes into developing a game and development isn't cheap.

Well those scalpers aren't gonna affect me because I already pre ordered from Amazon, which I am hoping they will not cancel it because I did it 20 mins after nintendolife reported it :/

They should not be releasing this until they bring the mini nes back with plenty of stock! Fortunately, I was lucky enough to get the mini nes at RRP!

When Reggie mentions YouTube and then says "when it turns to driving the direction of the IP, or somehow monetizing" that indicates to me that Nintendo thinks monetising youtube videos is crossing the line... which is stupid because dedicated youtubers need to get their money from somewhere! Are they still doing that parter thing where you must sign up to get a smaller percentage of profits?

To me, it kinda seems like DeNA are inexperienced considering it is taking them so long for Nintendo to develop their own app. Seriously, by 2018 it would already be a year since the console launched which is a year without any voice chat!

Just imagine if someone lost 300+ hours of Zelda breath of the wild save data!? That would be absolutely devastating! 😱😨 These things can be avoided if Nintendo woke up and realised that cloud saves is actually important. If only someone said this to reggie.

I do have Pokemon Sun but I'm not getting this just for simply a story change and some new pokemon... not worth my time. Don't get me wrong, Sun&Moon are great games but my time is too limited to be playing a whole 30+ hour game again. There's other games I wonna play.

I have the Wii U version but stopped playing it completely. Whether I'll get the switch version I'll see. Fighting games is not my favourite thing anyway.

The grey version came back in stock recently, Nintendo is doing a good job to restock the switch at least once a month

Haha back then I only played games sometimes, but I do remember my brother had a DS. Then, when he got the DS Lite he gave it to me shortly after but it wasn't until the DSi when I played DS a lot. Even back in the Wii days I wasn't a big gamer until near the end of its lifecycle. Now, I actively play 3ds, Xbox One and Wii U (Recently not as much for Wii U)... and soon I'll be playing on my switch I'm 18 now.

Nice! I just claimed the pikmin theme, and when I have enough points, I might claim the 3d movies. Even though I have the HD version on Wii U, it would be nice to have the 3d version.

Prefect for me because I plan to get my switch in August. Whether I'll get this bundle or not depends on whether the bundle works out cheaper or not. Plus, I'll be playing zelda btow first anyway

Other than that, I think super mario odyssey is gonna look awesome and I am optimistic that Nintendo are gonna reveal at least a few switch games that we will be excited for.

2d Pikmin looks fun, but doesn't look anywhere near as fun as 3d pikmin. I'll probably get it. Watching gameplay of it on youtube makes me wonna play Pikmin 3 again!

I do think that the New 2DS XL is a very nice console, but I cannot justify getting it myself. Why? A few reasons... Firstly, I already have a New 3DS XL, it can do almost everything the New 2DS XL can do, but with 3D for games that utilise it well because I really enjoy the 3D when it is used well! (lol I can't say everything, because you can't easily remove the micro sd card, but for me this isn't a problem as I only need one 32gb micro sd card) meaning that there's absolutely no reason for me to get it.

Secondly, I still haven't got my switch yet, not because I am waiting for price cut or more games, but because of other things in my life right now and kinda because of financial reasons.

I live in London, here's where I've seen the switch being advertised:

1) London underground, digital displays on the long escalator!
2) Big posters on the underground on the platform area!
3) TV ads (saw one during ant & dec's Saturday night takeaway!) and some other shows, I don't really watch tv that often.
4) Online ads, everywhere! But this is probably because I look at a lot of Nintendo. I don't really get why Nintendo are wasting money showing ads to people like me who look at Nintendo all the time though.

So, from my own experience, I am happy to say that Nintendo is actually doing a good job advertising! However; I am particularly surprised that there are no ads on buses considering I always kept seeing pokemon sun & moon on buses (to the point where the ad had faded a bit over time!). And bus stop ads? I saw other comments here from other Londoners about this but I haven't seen any. I think it depends on your area.

All rubbish PR talk! They make a profit from every mini nes sold, so resources isn't an issue!

CEX is often overpriced! 2 weeks ago they were selling Nintendo Switch for £350... but now because the console has come back into stock in this country at a lot of retailers, they had to reduce their price. CEX's price for the switch is £300, but that's used and it's still £20 more compared to getting get it new! They overprice used games as well.

If Nintendo did release a second version of the switch, I definitely think the width and height will remain the same because if the joy cons were to be any smaller, they will be uncomfortable! It would just be a re-design.

Woah I'm so lucky I spotted one in my local game store brand new for £50 and purchased it! But still, despite the fact that I have one, it does make me angry that Nintendo made this tremendously stupid decision!!

@gatorboi352 You can't, you can only use the touch controls in handheld mode. Ok yeah I do get your point that the switch version can't do that when playing on the TV, but I don't mind playing this game as handheld-only.
