Absolutely lovely gesture from this video! At this moment of time it's hard to tell what are the real reasons he's no longer the voice actor. I believe that whatever future Mario stuff we get after Wonder such as a 3d Mario game on Switch 2, will have much more voicing and they must have carefully considered whether his voice is the best fit or a different voice. I doubt they fired him the way that people are claiming.

I did play this for a bit and stopped, however I don't mind going back into it soon. Honestly though I am not a big fan of these outdoor mobile games.

I don't play shooters a lot but Doom looks like great fun! If I enjoyed the likes of Gears of War and Borderlands then I'm sure I'd enjoy this. I am now really considering buying Doom and Doom Eternal.

Awesome! I will definitely revisit Splatoon. I've been wanting to for a while as well; for nostalgia and it does stand up well even today.

Interesting stuff right there, they bring a nice twist to the usual gameplay. Would be nice if these were done more often. I haven't participated in any, usually because of the timings.

If they want to keep costs down, then at least have an LCD and an OLED version right from launch so that those that want to spend less have the option and those that don't want to downgrade on the screen have the option too.

Yes, this is how it should be. Japanese people are very humble modest people. The would would a lot better financially if it wasn't for a small minority of people being overpaid.

I am glad to see Ninty making more use of what the joy cons are capable of. Other than 1-2 Switch, it seems that they were hesitant to do it too much at the beginning of the Switch in fear that it could give the Switch a bad image.

Imo the game is perfectly fine on 3ds and one of the best uses of the 3d effect. I would have preferred Ninty releasing something else like Zelda WW/TP but it is a great game so it's cool nevertheless.

I just hope it runs well. I'm just surprised this hasn't happened already.

Excited for this! Perhaps the Mario Movie inspired this, seeing how she had a very prominent and strong role. This and Wonder is definitely a step in the right direction. For too many years Ninty have played it too safe with the same stuff.

We expected a new 2d Mario game from the rumours but no way did we expect it like this! Love how quirky and creative it is, I can see this game doing very well.

Less than an hour to go! Pikmin 4 sure deserves the spotlight, especially with the success of the Switch. As for the rest... can't rule out Metroid Prime 4 haha. Expecting a few random surprises today.

Nice, earlier than expected. Until the rumours came, I was thinking that they were going to do what they did last year which was a direct in Feb followed by random announcements here and there until the next direct in September.

Interesting that this is only the 2nd game to use Unreal Engine. Perhaps they'll be using it more for the next console so they're preparing now

Wow I love this trailer, I just hope they market this properly so that Pikmin gets the attention that it deserves. Looking forward to seeing more about this game.

@Rainz Woah when I watched the trailer I literally read it as "paintbrush" and thought what an odd name choice especially for Splatoon where you don't have literal names for real-life things, e.g. We don't have "Roller" but we do have a "splat roller"

@masterLEON Yes impressive for sure! I was just about to say the same thing. It always makes me happy to see Splatoon doing well because I love it and it just means that Ninty will keep supporting it. Even in the Wii U days it sold a lot on that system for its user base.

You can't really go by this to say that the end of this year is looking bad. Obviously they don't want to mention something unannounced. In the past I think I do remember Ninty announcing things earlier but times have changed and over the recent years we've thankfully been surprised many times.

@RattenGenossin Woah impressive for sure! Thanks for that year-on-year breakdown! I have Wii U, so I can happily say that I was part of that 13.56 mil lol. In those times I'd be laughed at if I told people I have a Wii U but now several of my friends have a switch.

Would have been very cool to have subtitles just like watching anime in sub however I think the main reason they're doing these screenings is for those that know the Japanese language. It's a nice gesture for them.

Seeing gameplay footage today was honestly a pleasant surprise! The game honestly looks incredible, they've really done a lot with it. Tons of possibilities from the ultrahand stuff and as far as I can tell there really seems to be a lot more going on in the open world. As mentioned in the article, the puzzles are in the openworld rather than mainly confined to shrines. Although, I personally liked the shrines in BoTW; however tears of the kingdom's openworld seems more interesting for sure.

Fantastic game! I quite like the swapping mechanics but later on it can make things very challenging.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching gameplay of this game so I will be getting this for sure. It does look like a lot of fun and a great place to get into tactical games.

Ahh it's always stupidity like this that ruins the fun. I've been wanting to go back to Splatoon 1 but I'll now have to wait until Nintendo fixes it. I don't think it will take too long though. Respect to Nintendo for making the effort, I hope this is a sign that the Wii U & 3ds online stays around for a while.

Wow this wave looks solid!! But as others have said... there are too many tour tracks and there's literally no need for another Mario circuit. However the new Yoshi's island one along with DK summit and Waluigi stadium defo makes up for it.

I've never played an Ace Attorney game. Is this is good place to start? Also if it wasn't for this article I wouldn't have known that this game isn't on other consoles! After quick search I see it's also on mobile but I'd play this on 3ds.

He essentially established Nintendo in terms of methodology on how to be Nintendo so even when he is gone, this legacy will continue to live on! Look at Splatoon for example, it isn't Miyamoto's creation yet it literally has the Nintendo feel.

@Wexter I can absolutely agree with you that there are no executions in UK, however they do fund/support an apartheid state in the middle east that continue to steal land and shoot anyone including teenagers for no reason... which is very comparable to executions except no trial.
