The thing is though... is that most of the retail game eShop discounts (e.g. 30% off full RRP price) is still not even cheaper than the price you can find it online!

It's so dissapointing that we don't get rewards from physical games! Ninty needs to bring back redemption codes in game boxes!

I haven't got this game yet, so the physical eShop selects version is perfect for me and it comes with the DLC!

Anyway, I was never expecting 3d on mario game styles that never were 3d so I'm not fussed about that... but what I am fussed about is the lack of features, I'm not getting it because I have the much better Wii U version.

@BLPs It may be Nintendo's smallest market, but there's a lot of Nintendo fans that attend EGX every year. Many Nintendo fans that go to EGX every year is disappointed to see that Nintendo is not gonna be there this year. Nintendo UK attended hyper japan this year so why not EGX as well?

@Grumblevolcano I was looking around on twitter, and some tweets said they emailed EGX and they confirmed that Nintendo isn't gonna be there... and apparantly people working EGX has confirmed it as well.

The games they would have to show may be a bit low at the moment, but they have zelda breath of the wild and paper mario colour splash on Wii U... and on 3ds they have games such as pokemon sun/moon and more! Nintendo UK attended hyper japan expo this year so why not EGX as well!?

Sony is able to price the PS4 slim at £259. So really Nintendo has no excuse for making the NX less powerfull! And this writer said HDR is not a big difference compared to normal HD... wrong, it is a massive difference! look at the comparisons... the difference is amazing! and I watched the playstation meeting on my 1080p TV... just because your monitor isn't 4K, that doesn't mean you can't see the difference in the stream! But yeah obviously you can only truly tell if you look at a real 4k monitor. Overall I thought the playstation meeting was good.

Even if you don't have a 4k tv, the games will look better and run at a better frame rate and it will run better. You said there is a split between pro owners and original ps4 owners... how? There will never be exclusives on the pro (as Sony is not allowing it). There is no segregation online either.

@rjejr Maybe it's pointing to DLC? For example, you can buy DLC within a game on console but does that make it free-to-play? Nope.

Clearly Nintendo isn't happy with Wii U's sales! I really wasn't expecting this on 3ds... I'm not getting it because I have the Wii U version, and the Wii U version is better anyway

That £4.49 for streetpass premium is finally worthwile! I just brought it! I've been waiting for them to increase the character limit for ages and it finally happened, I'm so happy! The other premium features are nice as well. Thanks to streetpass relay points, I get lots of hits, it's now rare for me to get someone walking by but now it's hard to tell if I got someone from a relay point or by walking past... would have been good if there was a symbol to tell.

I chose to get racers for free. The others I will buy it in the bundle but not yet, because I am busy with puzzle swap, battle, garden and fishing!

I gave up on mansion because I got stuck on a hard enemy (I might restart it) and zombies I can't be asked for that.

Mario Kart 8 is £49.99 on the eShop and the My Nintendo discount is 15% off. So 49.99/100 = 0.49
0.49 × 15 = 7.45 (£7.45 discounted)
So the discounted price is £42.54. That's still waaay more than the price you get it for at retail!! I can find a copy for £35 on Amazon! Also, I can buy the download code at game.co.uk for £39.99. NOE seriously needs to sort out their digital pricing!

It's absolutely ridiculous that you cannot earn points from physical games, bring back the redemption codes Nintendo!! And physical rewards too! It's even funnier that they increased it to 12 months because they recognise there's nothing much to redeem it on.
