Legend of Zelda and Mario Kart Feature in Updated European My Nintendo Rewards

We really need a new way to spend our points. This new system is crap.

I understand why the big spenders are pissed at those rewards. At least the guides and wallpapers are new, but if you've already bought most of Nintendo's games, you just HAVE to lose most of your gold coins.

Also, don't buy Mario Tennis Open. 20% off is not enough for that game.

For 10 Gold you get Mario kart 8 Deluxe.... Starter guide?

I'm fine with the wallpaper, it makes a great Lock Screen for my PC.
These 30 coin discounts don't work because you get the gold coins right back.

Seriously Nintendo, we need either major discounts (50+% off), free games or more swag. Or what about vouchers for the UK Store or eShop credit? Stop limiting our choices to your dullard choicea that most people have already bought?

I'm having to give up my 30% off B-Day "gift" cos its limited to games I either don't want or already bought physically (or plan to buy physically).

I don't have mario kart 8 deluxe for the switch but I bought the guide for 10 gold coins. I feel great knowing that the were to expire end of the month. Another 70 gold coins to spend

The only thing of interest are new, modern rewards, like Nintendo Switch games.

And they keep pulling crap like birthday discounts on all the games you already bought.

I miss Club Nintendo. I miss the Nintendo Network Premium Promotion. My Nintendo rewards have pretty much been chaff.

Picked up Skyward Sword, round off the collection. Only cost just over £10.

I have a feeling all my coins will expire before I am tempted to purchase a single thing. Bring forth some Switch rewards! Switch theme for your Switch, 10-30% off Snipperclips, or anything in anyway fun. I'll take a pog of Mario's face for 100 gold coins. At least I could appreciate that!

As usual I already own all the games I'd buy, had to spend gold coins on themes yesterday before they expire.
Maybe if I don't buy any Switch games there'll eventually be something worthwhile.

Nintendo: Dear Nintendo Fan, we are going to replace Club Nintendo with its physical rewards that were occasionally amazing, very occasionally I might add, but mainly OK with a system that rewards you with discounts on games you've bought countless times before.
Me: Thanks Nintendo, you really know how to reward your dedicated fans who have been buying your output for over 20 years. I can't wait for you to charge me a monthly fee to play these games I bought before again but with added online functionality.

Rant over. They're E3 better mention something about the virtual console as the Switch is still pretty limited without it.

America's new rewards aren't much better honestly. Now they're including discounts for games I've owned for 3 years.

I've got 35 gold points that are gonna expire at the end of the month! Holding out for something decent for the mid-month update, but otherwise I guess I'll grab the Pikmin and Yoshi themes rather than let them just expire...

40% off Skyward for me!

I got my birthday discount voucher today. Without wishing to 'look a gift horse in the mouth'... it's​ useless. They basically offer discounts on a bunch of first party games that everyone owns already because there's NOTHING ELSE ON THE SYSTEM.

Nothing as always. Just lame rewards. Not surprised at all. It's all expected at this point. Only a miracle can only make this rewards system actually good.

Why Nintendo, why? Why do these rewards always come after I've already purchased those games (that interest me)?

I'll complain when my next batch of Gold coins expires. Which is 20 coins at the end of July. Until then I couldn't care less about there not being much on offer. Platinum coins are given away so it doesn't bother me they don't give you much.

If my points expire before the switch rewards roll out... Ugh.
