Please delete the 30 fps option, why the heck anyone want to play racing game at 30 fps when there's 60 fps option available? They should focus on 120 fps mode patch after launch.

I'm only interested in switch 2 patch now, at least 2K and 60 fps update 😃

I'm really interested in playing zelda botw with new graphcis upgrade, and mario kart 9 looks fun too. I just hope there will be many indie games on switch update their game to 120 fps for switch 2 screen.

@-wc- It's kind of a d*ck move for nintendo to allow pro controller 1 but to put some annoying things to make people grudgingly upgrade.

It's crazy, just when I though of buying it after the switch 2 direct, in the next day the 256GB card is sold out in sandisk official online shop.

Oh well, I think switch 2 256GB on-board storage is enough for a while, maybe I'll buy the card after the internal storage is full, and I hope the card price will be cheaper too in the next couple of months.

Not interested, I like buying (AAA) physical games for switch. With the exception of zelda botw, mario kart 8, and mario oddysey, all my (AAA) switch games are physical.

Switch is perfect for indies, now switch 2 will be more perfect with 120hz portable screen and 4K plus hdr on tv 😃

Who the heck want to play as a guy/robot in a wheelchair?! At least make it cool, maybe an ice skating robot or something, why a wheelchair?

And I think nintendo understand this too since it seems they didn't made this with too much development money, at least compared to splatoon or arms, it scream low effort.

Good, smooth fps (either 60 or 120 depending on game) is more important than 4K resolution 😃

It suck but if the games is good enough I'll buy it after waiting for a discount for 3rd party or buy it day one for big nintendo titles (because they rarely do discount) but buying less other games as a result.

Game-key release should be only for small indies that doesn't have money to buy normal nintendo carts or live service always updated games like fortnite, pubg, or sf6 rather than, say, bravely default hd remake, a single player game with squareenix as a publishers 😕

$20 is the reason for all this negative switch 2 news, if nintendo just pack-in this game to switch 2 and not greedy with mario kart world (just price it at $70), all switch 2 news will be mostly positive since sony already sells $70 games.

I like the first one so I guess I'll buy this one too. Can't decide whether to buy this on ps5 (with ps portal to play it portable) or on switch with the hope of getting 120hz update when switch 2 release.

I miss the first game on the switch so yeah, I think I'll pick this game if it support 120hz / 120 fps gameplay.

The problem isn't the console price, it's the price of the game, $80 is just too much, especially since nintendo mario kart world price in japan is about $60 😕

It kind of suck but at least players have the option to buy it at $50 bundled with the console. I do wish it's not limited time offer console though..

@JayJ People just have two problem with switch 2, $80 mario kart world and nintendo sold the tutorial game for switch 2, I bet if mario kart world is $70 and that tutorial game is free then people won't have problem with nintendo.

It's like nintendo nickle and dime their customer, do nintendo really need that $10 for their tutorial game, do they need friggin more $10 for new mario kart, which will sell millions btw, how greedy can they get. Just gave the players the tutorial game for free and make mario kart world future dlc cost $10 more rather than raising the base price.

I never have stick drift for my dualshock 1, 2, and 3, had it with dualshock 4 (fixed by system update I think). I hope switch 2 joycons won't have the problem although it's not hall effect.

I have switch v1, replace it with v2, then lite, and last, oled, but I never has the stick drift problem.

Switch 2 edition games box art suck, with big "switch 2" banner in the upper section and huge writing in the lower section. And since it's still a switch 1 cartridge with additional download, just buy a real switch 1 cartridge and download the update from the eshop.

Real switch 2 games box art is a bit better, although I wish the huge "switch 2" banner is more refined, maybe use the teardrop upper banner design like wii u games box art.

Already played and finished the wii u remaster back then, still want to replay it with better resolution and framerate.

Switch 1 reveal is way better, with no hidden surprise unlike this. And $80 for games is just too much 😕

The problem is the joycon isn't as ergonomic as a mouse, it's too thin and there's no screen wheel, and playing game with (the joycon) mouse but with the other joycons instead of keyboard is a bit weird.

Want for mario kart world, both switch zelda upgrade, donkey kong bonanza, bravely default hd (wish all the game is on the cart 😕), metroid prime 4, and all the upgrade for switch 1 games that I have, like link awakening remake, etc.

I have ps5 so I bought all the big AAA 3rd party games there, so I can play it at 60 fps rather than 30 fps on switch (like elden ring and cyberpunk). Switch 120hz screen is sweet though, can't wait to play nintendo & indie games at that framerate 😃

@BrianJL I heard the zelda upgrade is free if you have nintendo subs plus expansion, so if you have nintendo subs plus maybe metroid 4 upgrade is free too?

I plan to downgrade my nintendo susb from plus to non-plus ($20 peryear) but if the switch 2 games update is free for the plus subs, well, I'll continue with the plus subs

Kind of suck for usa citizen but here in my country we always get more expensive price from western device, but since we usually get imported switch from singapore or japanese maybe the price will be less expensive in my country for once, lol.

I don't know much about the tariffs situation in usa but I heard it's the same as the original country tariffs, so if country x give usa 10% tariff, the usa will give that country 10% tariff too, or so I heard.

Yup, I'm just gonna buy the switch 1 version and upgrade it on switch 2.

@kmtrain83 If you experience blurriness try connecting your ps5 with lan cable rather than wifi, I heard it really improve the ps5 to portal connection, I'm usually using wifi but when I bought the portal I bought lan cable too.

Yeah I prefer the game to run on the machine too but it's hard for $200 portable to have ps5 power. I wish ps portal have direct connection to ps5 like the wii u tablet.

Good, if nintendo can't have ssd for switch 2 at least this new type of sdcard is fast enough to play switch 2 games with little to no loading.

Now I'm interested in playing 3rd party games on switch (2) console again, I mostly playing indie games on playstation portal now since it's more comfortable (and has better speakers) but if switch 2 can do 120 fps on indie games maybe I'll play the games there.

I like jumanji and new mario bros movie, if it's as good then maybe I'll watch it in cinema.

Man, I remember getting platinum for nier automata after about 100 hours gameplay back then on ps4, it feels like the game sequel is included in the base game (after the first "ending"), I remember after finishing the game I though "I'm glad I bought this game at $60 full price, I'll feel guilty if I bought it at discount" lol

100% agree, when I bought japanese games I want japanese feels rather than usa one. I like it best when most console games are japan and most pc games are from usa back then, there's so much variety, ff7 is console rpg, planescape torment is pc rpg, devil may cry is console action games, max payne are pc action games, etc.

I want HD-2D version of chrono trigger, with no censor unlike dragon quest 3 remake of course 😃

I love metroidvania but I don't like this kind of design so I'll pass this I think.
