Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (8th June)

wiiware

Axiom verge, already has it and finished it on ps4 back then but I want to replay it on my switch, it's a really great metroidvania, it has sequel but the original is waay better.

Also now I'm thinking buying a new nintendo wii, I don't like the console back then but now after buying a brand new new 2ds xl half a year ago, I'm craving for nintendo wii now 😂

With the exception of nintendo, this gen AAA games is kind of suck, I can count with a finger a brand new games that make me excited to play it. There's elden ring, unicorn overlord, and indie games and that's it I think.

Re: Yacht Club Broadcasting Shovel Knight 10th Anniversary Presentation Next Week

wiiware

Man they should make shovel knight 2 with snes graphics ages ago lol, I hope at least we got trailer of the next shovel knight games 😃

@Picola-Wicola Play shovel knight treasure trove, you should play play the first game and at least its dlc specter of torment. The game sometimes discounted to $20 (full price is $40) on switch, you should wishlisted it on eshop so nintendo will send email if the game is discounted.

If you like platformer like nes mario bros 3, you probably will like this one too 😃

Re: DOOM: The Dark Ages To Be Announced This June, According To New 'Exclusive'

wiiware

I hope it's a pure shooter like the first doom remake rather than "shooter-strategy where the doom guy usually can't find ammo for his gun unless he defeat the demons with melee" like the second game.

@larryisaman Yup, the first game gameplay is good but the (mars) environment is boring, while in the second game the environment is really good but the gameplay isn't as good as the first one. The second game feels like puzzle shooter which is weird for a doom game.

Re: Random: Nintendo Emulator 'Delta' Changes Its Logo After Heat From Adobe

wiiware

Still waiting for ipad support. Also just bought 8bitdo sn30 pro and playing delta all over again, it's just so much fun playing nes/snes/n64 games on my iphone/ipad using this controller.

Heck, playing mario 64 is better on delta compared to switch online+expansion subs since I can change the buttons configuration, the n64 button config on switch is unplayable, and why the heck nintendo sells their n64 switch gamepad exclusively rather than normally like joycons? I want to buy n64 switch controller but it's so rare (and expensive) in my country so I have to import it, unlike the switch and its joycons which I can buy on my local gameshop.

@Astal Delta is a really really good emulator with amazing sync backup solutions, and pssp is great too, after buying 8bitdo gamepad I can't stop playing delta/pssp on my iphone/ipad lol.

@NinChocolate I have old 1st gen (2018) ipad pro 11inch and its amazing for playing emulation games, I want the new 13inch pro but it's too expensive for me 😅

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (18th May)

wiiware

Bought super mario rpg and wonder. Just started playing mario rpg, this is the first time I'm playing it since I never owned the game on snes, so this is like a new game for me 😃

Beside mario rpg also playing mario 64 on switch subs+expansion, after searching some... family online, I bought the subs cheaply, lol. I have fun replaying mario 64, I want to buy the n64 official switch gamepad but its so expensive in my country. Oh well, can't wait to replay starfox 64, golden eye, banjo, and others games on it.

Also bought hori split pad compact a couple of weeks ago and man, playing switch with full analogue stick is a completely different experience. Playing switch portable on joycon analogue is not a good experience since the analogue is too small, playing it with hori pad is waay more fun.

It's a shame the pad lack basically, well, everything, no ir, camera, hd rumble and most important, no gyro. I'll pay good money for this version of pad that have gyro, its really annoying playing mario odyssey and I can't use some move because the pad lacks gyro. I really hope hori will make split pad compact 2 when the switch 2 arrive and that pad at least will have gyro.

Re: Poll: Are You Bothered By The Frame Rate For Paper Mario: TTYD On Switch?

wiiware

Yes I'm really bothered by it, how can we get framerate downgrade for a 20 year old game remake? It's not like paper mario is a 3D powerhouse title back then, just upgrade the graphics a little and keep the framerate 60 fps on switch.

Unless nintendo switch 2 can play this game at 60 fps, or maybe nintendo will sells the game again on switch 2, I think I'll wait for the switch 2 version/upgrade patch before buying this.

Re: Bayonetta Origins Director Empathises With Paper Mario Dev, Suggests Reasons For 30FPS

wiiware

@Jireland92 What change? Nintendo didn't make the game open world or something like that. Besides, metroid prime remake (another gamecube game) which is first person shooter can be played at 60 fps on switch, I don't think paper mario graphics is more "heavy" than metroid prime remake.

Well I guess I'll buy it later if nintendo update the game to 60 fps when the switch 2 come out, I don't want to buy this and nintendo suddenly releasing the 60 fps switch 2 version lol.

Re: Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Will Restore Missing Posters In Patch 3

wiiware

What's wrong with those people (the dev), isn't enough to throw that lame warning screen in the opening of the game, now they want to censor the game after people are buying them? I think the only reason they put the poster back is because gamers throwing a fit on twitter and it effect the game sales.

In the end, it's good they put the posters back in, I hope they don't try anything that stupid ever again.

Re: Digital Eclipse's Remake of 'Wizardry' Dungeon Crawls Onto Switch In May

wiiware

@Bratwurst35 I see the light now, say no to AAA, say yes to AAAA 😂

@-wc- I think snes, psone, and ps2 is the golden era of gaming, making games aren't as expensive as it is now so we got so many different games 😃

@Vyacheslav333 That's what I'm playing now, indies, evercade games, retro games in analogue pocket, nintendo ds games, and now I'm playing retro games on iphones too (delta app) 😃

Re: Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Patch Updates Are Already Rolling Out

wiiware

@Captain_Toad Yup, I like the "flowery language" in unicorn overlord since it make the setting looks like old time medieval country, but adding something 2024 like chud or whatever in this game medieval setting is super cringe 😕

And I heard the translation ignored gendered language too, wtf is wrong with usa translator people.

Re: Unicorn Overlord Update Incoming, Here Are The Patch Notes

wiiware

It's crazy (and suck) that I still can't find the physical region 1 game with normal price for this game, I think I'll wait for one more weeks before buying it on eshop.

This kind of suck since physical games usually cheaper in my country, like mario wonder is $35, while mario rpg is $37, all brand new cartridge region 1 version

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (20th April)

wiiware

Having a blast playing delta emulator on my phone, I've been playing snes chrono trigger, tmnt turtles in time, super mario 64, zelda link awakening dx (although I can play it on switch & analogue pocket), various nes and gba games, nintendo ds games (although I already have new 2ds xl) which is actually really nice on iphone tall screen, it's really nice to have nintendo games in phone available anytime I want to play it 😃

Man I wish either nintendo make iphone 14 plus smartphone like device to play their old games (just add nintendo estore in it) or apple make ipod touch again with iphone 14 plus specs, since my phone battery is in danger ever since I install delta emulator in it, lol.

Re: Prince Of Persia Roguelite From Dead Cells Dev Revealed, Switch Not Confirmed

wiiware

Looks super fine, middle east setting and music, gameplay wise looks great, and more importanly no those twitter haircut lol.

I think I'll get this on early access and buy it again on home console when it's released, like deedlit on wonder labyrinth 😃

ps. I think they will released this on switch 2, maybe there's switch port but it will be compromised, with worse resolutions and framerate. Even some 2D (2.5D) games like contra operation galuga is 30 fps on switch.

Re: Saber Interactive CEO Doesn't Think $70 Video Games Are Sustainable

wiiware

It's fine for some games, like zelda totk, mario odyssey (it's $60 though) and maybe gta 6, but definitely not for some other games. For example, I bought ps5 exclusive returnal brand new at $70, but there's no way that game is worth $70, with only 6 "stages" and 3 of them are recycled.

Oh well, I can always give myself one years before buying $70 games, so I can buy it cheap when its discounted and fully patched, I have enough backlog already 😃
