Why are people excited over an inferior SNES port of Fatal Fury 2 when the superior Neo Geo versions of the entire series has been on the eShop for years now?

@FragRed I thought the same thing, but we have no idea where the game is in development. Could be an early build. I'll reserve judgment until I see the final product in person(not a compressed youtube video).

I am Californian, born and raised in the Bay Area, but a lot of the stuff they have on the books now is absolutely absurd. It wasn't like that when I grew up there back in the 80s and 90s.

@Nintendoboy1994 Yeah, I'm also disappointed that the 3rd game was just left in the trash bin. They literally just released a new physical collection that has 1, 2 and...4 sigh I can only assume it is a lack of money issue because the HD remasters of 1 & 2 were crowd funded. The collection is still worth buying though. You get the 3 games for 40 bucks. Not a bad deal IMO.

@Jhena No it wasn't. It was well made, but the forced team mechanics ruined it. All Stars and Transformed were much better.

@nocdaes That's a bit of an over exaggeration. MK 8 moved over 8 million units on the Wii U. While that of course pales in comparison to what Deluxe has done on the Switch, that's still a large number. I agree though that the leaks are underwhelming, but I'm not convinced they are legit either. Nintendo has had a very long time to develop this console. Surely they came up with something more than just a more powerful Switch with a larger screen and magnetic Joycons..

The Master Chief Collection on "Switch 2" would be sweet, but I'm not going to get my hopes up.

Zero interest in RPGs. Most overrated genre ever.

I vaguely remember this game when it was new back in the 90s, but it did not interest me in the slightest. Looks really mid.. There's already so many great classic(and modern) 3D platformers on the Switch..we just got Banjo Tooie last week.(rejoice!) Like why waste your time on this? I suppose if it was on sale for dirt cheap on the eShop I might bite..

Looking at this Rumble game, I don't think we missed out on much. I'm very content with the HD trilogy, Crash 4 and Crash Team Racing. Crash 5 getting canceled hurts though.

I would have jumped at the Tomb Raider collection had it been 95% off.

What about the sequel? If this sells well, maybe they'll revamp that one too.

Vaporware.. Never heard of a 2D Metroidvania taking this long to develop. I've lost all respect for Team Cherry.

@HeadPirate Yes, Doom is readily available on PC at no cost, but people are paying for this to be able to play it on their Switch or other console of choice.

@mlt So I've been playing through Legacy of Rust and have had zero crashes or performance issues thus far. I did have a random disconnect playing online co-op though. The online definitely needs some work still. But I am stoked it was finally added. My only real gripe about the 2019 releases was that they didn't have online play and they fixed that!

@NeonPizza The resolution was indeed jacked up. The games are running on the awesome Kex Engine now. This is Nightdive's custom engine that powers all their remasters ie. Quake, Turok, Doom 64 etc.

@mlt Undercooked? How so? Seems superior in every way to the old ones to me. Online play was a little laggy, but I didn't notice any other issues.
