@SwagaliciousJohnson I'm skeptical Wii is ever coming to NSO because of storage issues. Nintendo should have not used Micro SD cards on the Switch 2. Gamecube is already pushing it.

I still can't believe Prime 4 was first announced when the OG Switch was still a baby. Longest development cycle in Nintendo history.

@KevinLo9 I couldn't agree more. After a decade in the making, I am really disappointed with World. I don't hate it, but 8 is so much better. 8 to me is peak Mario Kart. I put sooo many hours into it over the years, both on the Wii U and Deluxe on the Switch. It always be near and dear to me. What a beast of a game..

@DollyrotsFan1 Most of those games will never see the light of day because of licensing. Sadly this has been a problem going all the way back to the Virtual Console on the Wii. Typically only 2 to 5% of any systems game library end up on the service. The fact that Goldeneye made it to NSO is nothing short of a licensing miracle.

The input delay feels reduced now after this update to the app. 👍

MS needs to sell Rare to Nintendo. They have completely wrecked what was, once upon a time back in the 90s, one the world's greatest development studios.

@Maxz I always assumed Nintendo pays a licensing fee for any 3rd party games on NSO.

But yeah, just put Adventure 1 and 2, Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog on the Gamecube NSO and call it a day.

Calling them "new tracks" is a stretch.

Very overrated game. I'll never get over how awful/infuriating it's drifting mechanics are.

@1UP-HUSKY It was 5 years between Splatoon 2 and 3. I don't think we will see Splatoon 4 until 2027. But hey, they're giving us this spinoff to tide us over, so it's all good.

@Grumblevolcano I love Saltspray, but I fear it is forever trapped in Splatoon 1 because it is broken.

@NeonPizza For real.. For as much as I love Nintendo, they frustrate me so much. Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD should have ported to the OG Switch years ago! Why did they port over nearly every Wii U game EXCEPT the Zelda remasters? Makes no sense.

They still should have ported the HD version(along with twilight princess hd) instead of this. It is absurd that those remasters are still trapped on the Wii U!

About time! The recent Mortal Kombat's have been quite good, but just like Street Fighter, nothing tops those classics.

Ironic considering that's all Sony has done for decades. Same console over and over again with a power boost. There's not much left in the 'innovation bucket' at this point anyway. Damn near everything has already been done. Just the natural consequence of the video game industry being 50 years old.

While I do still want a Switch 2, I am getting a bit worried about the future. I think the negative effects of Iwata dying(long gone now, but never forgotten) and the massive success of the Switch 1 are now unfortunately starting to appear. Remember Nintendo is now run by a pure business man who likely never even plays video games and cares only about maximum profit. He is the polar opposite of Iwata. It is going to be very interesting to see where the Switch 2 is in a couple years..

One thing I'm sure of is if a year after the console releases it is doing Wii U numbers, the price cuts will begin. Remember what happened with the 3DS? It started off pretty poorly, Nintendo cut the price of the system in response and sales skyrocketed.

Everyone is rightfully complaining about the $80 price tag, yet no one is mentioning you get Mario Kart World for just 50 bucks with the bundle. I literally could not find one dork Nintendo YouTuber whom even brought this up.

@Dee123 What a ridiculous comment. Why don't you just wait until the Switch 2 Direct in just a few hours instead of making grand assumptions. Nintendo has not announced a single game for Switch 2 yet beyond showing us that tiny bit of footage of the next Mario Kart, so why would they announce a Switch 2 version of Prime 4 before the Direct?

LOL. Like that wasn't extremely obvious. If that was Switch 2 footage, that would be pretty bad. If there is a Switch 2 version(I think there is, but we still don't know) I would expect it to look better than that.

@Sylamp Oh I see. Well I still feel MP4 is Switch 2 bound LOL. With Switch 2 and Prime 4 both confirmed to be releasing this year, it just seems likely to me.

I am deeply concerned the tarrifs are going to make getting my hands on Switch 2 a very expensive endeavor. My limit is about $400 for any game console. It is such a crazy, chaotic time to be an American. I would say more, but will restrain myself as to not risk having my comment deleted.

@OorWullie Hmm, that's a bummer if true. What about Forsaken though? That was released on Xbox so no reason they shouldn't also be able to release it on Switch.

I just witch they would bring their remasters of Forsaken and Blood to the Switch! I've begged them for years now, but it keeps falling on deaf ears..
