I think the first game I personally owned was Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge for GBA.

First game I played was probably Fifa with my brother on PlayStation. Heck knows which one.

Scarlett and Violet themed? Sort of? Too much of a coincidence to have red AND purple jackets.

It seems fair to say that what development had happened had been restarted and they didn't seem an announcement of that fact was necessary as no official announcement of the game had even been made in the first place.

I've honestly not got high expectations for announcements. I fully expect Breath of the Wild 2, but I'm just not really interested in it anymore.
Honestly, I feel like the only reveal that will almost definitely happen that I will care about will be Mario Kart Wave 2 tracks.
I'd really love something from my childhood like Nintendogs, but considering how they just handled Wii Sports, maybe I don't.

This has gone into my "absolutely no way" pile. It's just a Sonic mod slapped on some open world tech demo. It's boring, slow, and has none of the character and charm of the franchise.

If this is anything like the Dodo Airlines Animal Crossing bag that we got, this is a must get. That thing is sturdy as heck and I use it all the time. Incredible quality. I hope this one comes to Europe because I'll get it too.

I actually find I prefer the single bananas/shells over the triples. Because they rotate around the player and once one has been used, you're still quite open to attacks, and if a player bumps into you, you use an item when you normally don't want to.
Singular versions give you far more control.

@Duncanballs I'm currently playing on PS4 (base model) and it's still absolutely beautiful but I'm noticing a few frame rate dips and tiny amounts of slow down particularly in cutscenes. It's a nitpick for sure. If you've got the option I'd definitely pick a next gen console like Series X over Switch.

Even though I didn't like it as much as the first, I'm glad it's doing better. Pretty much guarantees a third film.

I've said it a thousand times and I'll say it again. The decision to have unthemed karts and everyone in similar racing outfits is outright poor.
Having Jack Sparrow on a Black Pearl themed Kart and Davy Jones on a Flying Dutchman one would've been cool. This is rubbish.

If the Mario Kart DLC didn't kill this already, this definitely does. I'll be staying well away from this game. Why is it apparently so difficult to make a fun arcadey kart racing game with beloved characters?
The Disney game is next, but it's at the very least free to play.

I'm not surprised. I'm also not sure what I'm still missing from the 3DS. I managed to get the Mario + Luigi games I was missing and a Spider-Man game I always wanted last year.

EDIT: Luigi's Mansion is the only one I can think of. Never played the original. I was hoping they'd port it to Switch

Best announcement was Strikers and I don't care about the Splatoon music?

-Mario Strikers, Mario Kart 8 DLC and Portal are absolute wins for me. Kirby still looks amazing.
-I'm cautiously optimistic for Switch Sports, but it's lacking the charm of Wuhu Island and the music and Fall is a long time to wait for the next update.
-I'll keep an eye on Disney Speedstorm because the courses look great. But free to play is a massive red flag and the karts are terrible.
-I've always wanted to play the Force Unleashed, but it looks a bit rubbish graphically so I'll wait on reviews and a price.
-Klonoa looks fun even if I've never heard of it.
-No Batman was a huge surprise...
Overall, the best direct for me in years.

The courses look great but the karts and outfits are terrible. It's like embarrassed to be Disney?
