Some great looking stuff. Particularly excited for Aurora and Maleficent who I believe were quite high on my rankings when I did their survey a while back. If I can appear ungrateful for a sec though... I was hoping for another "obscure" character at some point on this roadmap - like an Oswald.
What I really want to see them do again is another Pedometer. The one for Wii Fit U was fantastic, unironically, one of my favourite things to do on the console was upload my steps to the challenges like climbing Mt Everest. The time when I was carrying that and my 3DS everywhere was glorious.
Whenever the Switch 2 announcement is (which I do think is within the next 4 weeks), I doubt it'll be combined with a regular direct.
I reckon maybe a 20minute direct soon ending with a "Tune in on (date) as we reveal the successor to Nintendo Switch" and that'll be within the following 10 days.
Can't imagine it'll be anything other than a lazy port though, so I doubt I'll be interested. I had the original on DS and Kingdoms on Wii and they were fine.
Of course the statement is written by AI, there's no other staff to write it. Probably finish off the games with it too. Seriously though, what an insult to all the former employees. Seems terribly handled.
I recommend hexceed. I've put about 200 hours into it. It's good for those who like the 2D un-glamorous Picross style (I've got no better way of describing it...) No cutscenes, story or other nonsense. Just simple puzzles, reminiscent of Minesweeper.
Played the first dungeon. Don't see the fun it at all, personally. It also constantly kept coming up with the "Connecting" notification. Only on Switch, does my internet not seem to work properly. I don't get it. Probably gonna delete it.
One of my favourite games of all time, but I really don't need a collector's edition with all that silly tack thrown in. Really wish they had a version with an artbook.
Interesting they're doing costumes. Love love love Brave Little Tailor so that's cool to see.
I'm excited to play and beyond my better judgement, I might pre-order.
I think they'll definitely repeat a similar timeline to the Switch. Announce in October, (maybe) a live presentation in January, release in March. For the holiday, just give the Switch line a big discount or finally release Switch Selects
I'm not creative enough to use Touch of Magic, so I was hoping that with Daisy's Boutique, I'd be able to download other people's designs via code or something. But it just seems limited to friends and I ain't got any.......... that play this.
I think this will be huge when it releases, honestly. Not Pokemon Go huge, but not far off. It looks simpler than their other app and looks easily addictive. I would hope there was a way to "earn" packs though, through walking or something.
@intergalacticNikolai These concept images in the article aren't from within the land (which will be exactly like the Japan one with Donkey Kong and Yoshi rides), but are from the main hub that connects the lands via "portals". What is shown is the portal and a gift shop which will presumably be based near said portal.

Re: Nintendo and Lego Are Collaborating On A New Game Boy Set
Hopefully getting closer to the LEGO consoles I would probably buy. A Wii, 3DS and Switch.
Re: Rumour: Developer Resume Suggests Gotham Knights May Be Heading To 'Switch 2'

Re: Disney Dreamlight Valley's New Expansion Pass Welcomes Flynn, Merida, Hades And More
Some great looking stuff. Particularly excited for Aurora and Maleficent who I believe were quite high on my rankings when I did their survey a while back.

Haven't played in several years, but I think I might buy it. Can't remember why I stopped playing it
Re: Review: Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo - Pricey But Delightful, And Something Only Nintendo Could Pull Off
I wish they gave it a circular screen to fit the circular shape. Could've had analogue clock designs as well
Re: Forget 'Switch 2', Nintendo Has Just Revealed An Official Alarm Clock

Re: Forget 'Switch 2', Nintendo Has Just Revealed An Official Alarm Clock
It's a shame they didn't partner with Google to add these to the Nest hubs which can do a lot more. It's very expensive at $100

Re: Video: Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket Gets New Gameplay Trailer, Out October
Wait, is there no trading? I was hoping this would take off like Pokemon Go and that I would meet strangers at the pub who would want to trade.
Re: 'My Time At Evershine' Revealed, Confirmed For Switch Successor
They might not means Switch 2, they might mean the Nintendo NX, which we're still waiting to see.... Went dark quite some time ago now
Re: Poll: With 'Switch 2' Rumours Swirling, Will There Be A September Direct This Year?
Whenever the Switch 2 announcement is (which I do think is within the next 4 weeks), I doubt it'll be combined with a regular direct.
I reckon maybe a 20minute direct soon ending with a "Tune in on (date) as we reveal the successor to Nintendo Switch" and that'll be within the following 10 days.

Re: Rumour: Wii & DS Favourite 'MySims' Could Be Coming To Switch Soon
Can't imagine it'll be anything other than a lazy port though, so I doubt I'll be interested. I had the original on DS and Kingdoms on Wii and they were fine.

I hope it's still got all it's easter eggs, like the hidden basketball court on Mt Oswald

Oh my...... This is original sonic movie design levels of awful

That box art.....🤮
Maybe it has a reversible art
Re: Random: Albanian Footballer Takes To The Field In Custom Mario Boots For EURO 2024
Didn't help them win though
Re: Donkey Kong Country Returns HD Swings Onto Switch Next Year
This is disappointingly low effort. If they had done like a Bowser's Fury style expansion, that would've been cool. But eh. Not buying it again.
Re: New 2D Adventure 'The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom' Announced For This September
Not sure about the Echo abilitity. Looks a bit annoying in combat and it would get old pretty quickly in the open world.
Re: We're Getting A Brand New 'Mario & Luigi' RPG This November
Love love love the animation in this. Really looking forward to it
Re: Talking Point: What We Expect From The Upcoming June Nintendo Direct
It tough to think what I even want from Switch at this point. We've gotten basically everything, to varying degrees of results.
A beautiful looking 3D Donkey Kong game would be the biggest announcement for me.
Re: UK Charts: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Slips Down To Third
I helped out the TTYD this week
First new release I've bought in a very long time.
Re: Site News: Suggest Questions For Our Upcoming Switch Summer Survey
How many sleepless nights have you endured cursed with the image in your brain of Mario without a moustache?
Re: Talking Point: Will Nintendo Wring One More Holiday From Switch Before Revealing New Hardware?
I think they'll definitely repeat a similar timeline to the Switch. Announce in October, (maybe) a live presentation in January, release in March.
For the holiday, just give the Switch line a big discount or finally release Switch Selects
Re: Nintendo Switch "Successor" Announcement Is Coming "This Fiscal Year"
If they're not gonna talk about the Switch successor in the June Direct, maybe they could take the time to FINALLY talk about the NX 👀👀👀👀

Otherwise, I'm so excited for Oswald

Really made me laugh - especially the imposing sleep moment
Re: Rumour: '1-2-Switch: Flashmob Frenzy' Is Apparently Coming Holiday Season 2024
Damn, you got me good. These potential celebrities should have been the dead giveaway, but I brushed right past it deeming them believable I guess.
Re: Nintendo Confirms Switch Release Dates For Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door & Luigi's Mansion 2 HD
Paper Mario is sooner than I thought, and Luigi's Mansion is A LOT sooner than I thought (but I don't care, as I'm not getting that one)
Re: Talking Point: What DS & 3DS Games Would You Still Like To See On Switch?
Nintendogs and Tomodachi Life
Re: Crash Bandicoot Dev Toys For Bob Splits From Activision & Xbox, Goes Independent
Fantastic news. Looking forward to whatever they make next

I would hope there was a way to "earn" packs though, through walking or something.
Re: It Looks Like Gold And Silver Will Feature In The Next 'Pokémon Presents'
I really want another Let's Go game. Thought they were better than most of their other efforts on Switch.
