What I really want to see them do again is another Pedometer. The one for Wii Fit U was fantastic, unironically, one of my favourite things to do on the console was upload my steps to the challenges like climbing Mt Everest. The time when I was carrying that and my 3DS everywhere was glorious.

It's a shame they didn't partner with Google to add these to the Nest hubs which can do a lot more. It's very expensive at $100

They might not means Switch 2, they might mean the Nintendo NX, which we're still waiting to see.... Went dark quite some time ago now

Whenever the Switch 2 announcement is (which I do think is within the next 4 weeks), I doubt it'll be combined with a regular direct.

I reckon maybe a 20minute direct soon ending with a "Tune in on (date) as we reveal the successor to Nintendo Switch" and that'll be within the following 10 days.

Can't imagine it'll be anything other than a lazy port though, so I doubt I'll be interested. I had the original on DS and Kingdoms on Wii and they were fine.

I recommend hexceed. I've put about 200 hours into it. It's good for those who like the 2D un-glamorous Picross style (I've got no better way of describing it...) No cutscenes, story or other nonsense. Just simple puzzles, reminiscent of Minesweeper.

Played the first dungeon. Don't see the fun it at all, personally. It also constantly kept coming up with the "Connecting" notification. Only on Switch, does my internet not seem to work properly. I don't get it.
Probably gonna delete it.

Interesting they're doing costumes. Love love love Brave Little Tailor so that's cool to see.

Not sure about the Echo abilitity. Looks a bit annoying in combat and it would get old pretty quickly in the open world.

It tough to think what I even want from Switch at this point. We've gotten basically everything, to varying degrees of results.

I think they'll definitely repeat a similar timeline to the Switch. Announce in October, (maybe) a live presentation in January, release in March.
For the holiday, just give the Switch line a big discount or finally release Switch Selects

I think this will be huge when it releases, honestly. Not Pokemon Go huge, but not far off. It looks simpler than their other app and looks easily addictive.
I would hope there was a way to "earn" packs though, through walking or something.

I really want another Let's Go game. Thought they were better than most of their other efforts on Switch.

@intergalacticNikolai These concept images in the article aren't from within the land (which will be exactly like the Japan one with Donkey Kong and Yoshi rides), but are from the main hub that connects the lands via "portals". What is shown is the portal and a gift shop which will presumably be based near said portal.
