Was just looking to see if there might be anything worthwhile and I stumbled upon an absolute blast from the past. They've published "Bubble Trouble" on the Switch. I used to play that loads on either Miniclip or NotDoppler or something. An old flash game.
@inenai Lego never re-release old sets. But what they do sometimes is remake them. Every few years we get a new Tumblr/Batmobile from The Dark Knight trilogy for example.
I doubt they'll remake this set any time soon though, considering there's still lots of set potential from the Zelda universe to explore.
Whilst watching I said to myself "What's the point of having all these different puzzle types?" and then the video explains why with the moments they connect. Pretty cool concept. I'll keep my eye on this.
Looks pretty incredible to me. Love the visuals and the design. The cinematic stuff seems cool. The fact they're going for a full on reboot and simply calling the game "Star Fox" is so interesting to me. I've played 64 3D but don't have a vivid memory of it, so the levels will basically be new to me again anyway. I am a bit worried about the length, considering it was a 2 hour game before.
The multiplayer seems really cool though and I might finally buy online to actually give this one a chance. Mouse mode - YAY! Camera stuff seems fun and I think my girlfriend will enjoy the co-op co-pilot mode.
Yeah all around, seems pretty promising. But I hope it's not one of their full price games if it's got a short campaign.
I 100% believe in the OoT remake as well. I reckon if this does well, we could see a sequel to it within a few years.
Don't like that this is Numbered 4. I wasn't too keen on this game to begin with and with the risk of not getting part 2? Such a bizarre choice. I feel like there's loads of better choices. South of Midnight would have been a fantastic one.
Got Indy pre-ordered. I must've missed the announcement of Little Nightmares II, hopefully they do a physical down the line, so I can have the whole trilogy.
Edit: Turns out there is a physical releasing the same day.
"Don't get too excited though, because it sounds like the Switch 2 version will be a 'code-in-a-box' monstrosity, meaning no cartridge will be included, only a poxy sheet of paper with a download code printed. Boo."
This reads exactly like the guy from Physical Paradise on YouTube speaks 😂
I wonder how much they paid. Granted it's useless... currently... maybe not forever. But as a Switch 2 physical collector, that seems like the crown jewel for me at the moment
They'll probably release it later to promote the new Megaman game, respark interest in this game and get the those headlines with "APRIL FOOLS DAY JOKE BECOMES REAL?!" Possibly the Game Awards
I got one. Knew I would regret not getting him. There'll be more Mario movies and opportunity to use him. I have an annual Mario Kart party so I could snacks in him then or I was thinking about him being a fruit basket holding apples to encourage me to eat more 😂 Enjoyed the movie too
I really like Glen Powell, and I reckon he's a fantastic choice. I wouldn't be surprised if this is why Nintendo released the poster - some sort of contractual thing.
@DownRightSam "But I guarantee this is the least of the cameo surprises. Why else would they tease it." But that's another part of the issue for me. I'm now going on expecting someone like Samus might show up, meaning it won't be nearly as impactful if she does or I'll now be slightly disappointed if she doesn't considering they put Star Fox in it. It's lose/lose.
Theres something really funny about the "Making of" blu-ray in the special editions. Being in a CD case for one and then a regular blu-ray case for the other. But at least both feature man in plaid shirt with serious face
Between this, Pokopia, Dream light Valley at the end of the month and even Hello Kitty is on sale, which I might finally get. It's an overwhelming month for these long-life cosy games
Can't remember when the third film is meant to be coming out. But they should time a budget release that has a collection of the games with all content on cart to release alongside the movie. Include touchscreen and mouse mode controls.
Nintendo have been really dropping the ball for solo players so far on Switch 2. DK being the only real exception, even though I greatly enjoyed Metroid and Pokemon Z-A

Re: Star Fox Is Finally Getting Another Game, Out June 2026 Exclusively On Switch 2
£41.99 on the eShop. Not bad. Probably £50 for the physical then.
Think I'll pre-order this one

Pretty boring covers to be honest. They could've done a lot more
