Yunobos ability
Would have saved me a lot of bomb flowers and weapons trying to get through those destroyable rock clusters (the worst thing about TOTK imo)
I don't think so, I assume they'll just announce a game or two via twitter for Fall. I honestly don't expect much more on Switch beside the games and DLCs that are already announced
@Chaotic_Neutral I respect your opinion but I strongly disagree with you, it's neither a Ubisoft clone (especially not a lackluster one) nor has it a "basic" build mechanic
@mikegamer That's fine but why do you feel the need to tell everyone you're glad you didn't play it when it's obvious that the game is amazing but it just doesn't meet your taste?
"However, ambitious as it was, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is, by most metrics, an inferior game to Sword and Shield."
I strongly disagree. Yes, it has tons of technical problem but at least otherwise it was a solid Pokemon game. SwSh may not have had those technical difficulties but was lackluster otherwise. Routes mostly were linear, literally zero optional places to explore, interesting story bits happened outside of the players presence (amok running Perrserker, explosion in the power plant). Don't see how that is better than SV
I had a ton of fun playing through Pokemon Violet while playing through Pokemon Sword left me underwhelmed
Except that the Wii U gamepad didn't connect to the console via Wi-Fi. If it were more like that this thing might actually be interesting since my PS5 is near to my bed and couch anyway so connection wouldn't be a problem and it would be nice to play PS5 on a handheld at night.
But I my internet isn't good enough for such things so no thanks
I'm against lootboxes as well, especially in games aimed towards children, but maybe, just maybe, watch what your kid is doing? I don't get why so many children have even access to their parents credit cards
Man, and I thought Pokemon SV selling 10mio copies in 3 days is insane but a Zelda game achiving that too is even more insane
I mean Zelda games before BotW usually sold only about 2-8mio copies in their whole lifetime (not counting re-releases) and now we are at a point where a new Zelda game easily manages that in 3 days. Absolutely deserved
The very first thing I did when I found one of those guys up on the first island was throwing him of the cliff just like I did with the cat creatures in Skyward Sword
@Kiz3000 Pretty sure that 54% means the launch period of Hogwarts Lagacy, not the overall sales. I mean the article also mentioned that it beat out BotW by 174% and if they were talking about overall sales that would mean that TotK sold about 82mio copies lol (since BotW sold about 30mio and +174% = 82mio)
Still very impressive though since Hogwarts Legacy sold like crazy as far as I'm aware
At first I though I wouldn't notice much difference between LCD and OLED but then I got an OLED Switch in a sale and now I definitely don't want the next system to have a LCD screen
You know I really enjoyed the way BotWs story was told, it had one (contrary to popular believe) but it was mostly optional and you had to discover it which kinda fits an open world game
@dartmonkey Still, I'd assume that the average person who reads that and doesn't know who Zippo is would assume that there is at least some credibility.
"leaker Zippo (who has had some correct predictions in the past)"
Yeah, and 95% of his predictions were completely wrong and the remaining 5% were safe guesses
Why would you try to make him look credible like that?
The Action Replay made me realize that cheating isn't fun I cheated myself some Masterballs and then caught some shiny Pokemon like a Rayquaza or a Flygon and then thought "Wait, that's not fun getting shinies that way" and released them
Cyberpunk 2077 They made it look like an actually working game. Plus they showed stuff in the trailers even just a few weeks before release that wasn't even in the game
@BASEDSAKRI Well ok fair enough
But I meant in a 3D Mario Kart, SMK and SC were both 2D after all
But even when considering SC, that was 22 years ago which means that no BC from SMK has been remade in 22 years which is still a very long time
Well I wasn't expecting that deal to start on Switch anyway.
If Microsoft would buy Activision I'd assume it still would take 1-3 years til we actually get a COD since the current ones aren't being developed with the Switch in mind and till then the successor is most likely out
At was great but I wasn't really a fan of how you had to do every single side quest (can it even be considered a side quest if you have to do it?) in order to beat the game

Re: Mario Kart Tour Adds Three Classic Circuits In Upcoming 'Mario Vs. Luigi' Update
Would love to see GBA Luigi's Circuit in MK8DX but the datamine suggest that only one more GBA track is coming in the DLCs and that's Sunset Wilds
I kinda hope for a second Booster Pass (unless we get MK9 alongside a next gen console next year)
Re: Atlus Accidentally Reveals Two New Persona Games
Very kind of the instagram employee, now I don't need to watch the XBox Showcase to see if the rumors are true lol
Re: Sonic Superstars Sees The Return Of Classic-Style Sonic With New Visuals
Looks really cool (I hope it actually is)
Also I like the art style
Re: Square Enix Celebrates As Octopath Traveler II Ships 1 Million Units
Such a great game, definitely deserves more sales
Re: Talking Point: Which Version Of Zelda: Link's Awakening Is Your Favourite?
It may be nostalgia since DX was my first Zelda game but I'll always prefer it over the remake
Re: Poll: Will There Be A June 2023 Nintendo Direct?
@Lizuka They didn't want Everybody 1, 2 Switch to overshadow every other announcement

Re: Sonic Co-Creator Yuji Naka Could Face Over Two Years In Prison
Insider Trading isn't actually the problem, they just hated Balan Wonderworld that much
Re: Random: Japanese Teens Stole Copies Of Zelda: TOTK By Working As Delivery Assistants
21 and 24 old aren't really what I'd consider "teens"
Teenager is from 13-19 cause those numbers end with "teen" (at least imo)
Re: Nintendo Says The Next Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC Wave Is Coming "Soon"
Probably June 22nd cause that would be the worst possible date for me lol (FF16 release)

Re: Talking Point: Could Nintendo Squeeze Another Zelda Game Out Of TOTK's Open World?
No, pls no.
As much as I love TotK, already knowing what places I will find when I go in a certain direction takes away from the exploration
Re: Switch Online's 'Missions & Rewards' Adds Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Icons
I wonder why they chose the XC2 artwork for Fiora

Splatoon but anime
Re: Zelda: TOTK Playtimes Start To Appear, And Some People Haven't Been Getting A Lot Of Sleep

Re: Pokémon HOME Support For Scarlet And Violet "Mistakenly Announced"
I really enjoyed SV but everything about/around this game is absolutely embarassing
Re: Japanese Charts: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Dominates, Surprising No One
I wonder why people would wait til TotK releases to buy BotW. Why not buy it months/years ago?
Re: Random: Oops! Nintendo's Doug Bowser Makes Amusing Zelda Typo On Twitter
Wouldn't a typo be something like "Hyrile" (since the i is beside the u on the keyboard)
Hyland is straight up a different word

Monolith Soft really has become my favorite developer
Re: Soapbox: It's Time For A Zelda 1 Remake, Please
Well there is a Zelda 1 remake for the Satellaview
Re: Review: Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed - A Stunning Denouement, Utterly Essential
That's the most understandable "con" point I've ever seen in a review

Re: Mario Kart Tour Brings Back Classic SNES Circuit In Upcoming Bowser Tour Update
I hope that tracks gets added to MK8DX. So far no BC from Super Mario Kart has ever been remade, also MK8DX only has one BC so far for some reason

Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom "Hands On" Performance & Resolution Detailed
Played through the entirety of Pokemon Violet therefore 900p30fps with a few drops now and then isn't a problem to me
Looking forward to which resolutions intensive games like Zelda, XC etc can run on their next system though

There's only one correct answer and that's the Tarrey Town questline
