Played this solidly for five years. Still remember buying the Nintendo wifi dongle, and going on to the EU Nintendo forums for friend codes even though they said not to share them, and being online with a couple of random ladies who chatted about their cars. The only thing is, I had Drake the Mallard in my town, and he was THE BEST - never had him in any AC game since 🤣🤣

Tell ya what, I wouldn't mind a Link Between Worlds DEMAKE so it matches the Link To The Past style. A Chrono Trigger re-do I would happily lap up. If done well, natch.

Watched the video yesterday (big fan of Kosmic) - and given how utterly and totally MANGLED the game looks toward the end, it's crazy that the SNES just carries on regardless and you can still actually play the thing 🤣

Excellent read. Haven't played the game myself yet (on my list tho), am a MASSIVE fan of Secret Of Mana 1, and I still remember, as a teen, being gutted when Super Play mag revealed to me that Seiken Densetsu 3 wouldn't be getting a Western translation 😂

Super GnG is my fave in the entire "series." And if the game infuriated you, look up and watch PJ's GDQ "All Weapons" run on the YouTube, 'tis a giggle, n'yes. I haven't played Resurrection yet, mind. Backlog is shocking, is what that is.

Oh how I remember getting Bubsy at launch for the SNES. If I had a time machine I would go back and slap myself for doing so. I will say, however, I did enjoy some of the music from the first game.

The Japanese boxart fer sure. Also, this is one game that, in a review, I'd give the soundtrack at least 11 out of 10. Yuzo Koshiro made that Sony sound chip absolutely SING.

Took me a short while to get used to the buttery smooth framerate, but it is night and day from the Switch 1 version, which I still loved to pieces, of course.

I take my Switch (now S2) to work when I'm on sleep shifts and have it play YT when I'm winding down, so I can still use my phone. Couldn't do that last night, could I 😂 still, glad they're on it.

Love the first one, was the third game I ever played on a Super Famicom back in 1992 (after Mario World and F-Zero), but never really played the others.

A nice bonus here would be some other console/handheld conversions and of course, the original arcade.

Gotta say, some of the comments in the live chat were utterly shameful when this showed (the usual Nintendo gone woke/DEI nonsense that unfortunately seems to pervade the air like a bad fart these days). I thought it looked bloody great, and I have a good friend who plays wheelchair basketball who will probably be absolutely stoked to see her favourite sport represented in videogame form.

Those new four(?) legged enemies sorta looked like a cross between Space Pirates and the Mimics from Edge of Tomorrow. Mighty excited for this.

They've obviously removed it because they're lining up the VASTLY SUPERIOR Nintendo World Cup on the NES for NSO. No other football game required
