Re: Poll: Which Was Your First 'Final Fantasy'?

4 was my first, played it at a school friend's house back in '92, his mum LOVED games and because of her I got in to it. It was unlike any other game I played and I fell in love. She also got me in to Soul Blazer. She was great. I then obviously imported FF6 at launch. 15 year old me had to save up a bit of paper round money for that one back in 1994!

Re: Best WarioWare Games Of All Time

WarioWare DIY is OBVIOUSLY the best as it is the only game to get a 100% review - from NGamer magazine. Yes.

WarioWare Touched is my personal favourite. Spent far too many hours chuckling at it back in the day.

Re: Back Page: Which Is The Best Controller Button, And What Does Your Pick Say About You?

It's good to see these kinds of articles - reminds me of the good old print magazine days where they could be dotted around any given issue - I don't remember anyone writing in to the issue after with, "excuse me but what was the point of..." letters, either. Funny that.

Also, never mind the Switch pad, it's gotta be the GC's humongous "A" button. The most biggestest, invitingest "press me" bit of circular goodness on any pad ever.

Okay, I'll play along. It's the button that says "yes" to the game. Whichever that is.

Re: Talking Point: How Long Does Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Take To Beat, Really?

I was "done" with BotW in about 150 hours, I'd decided I'd done all I wanted quest wise, but I knew there was a lot more I "had" to do that wasn't neccessary - and I'm still slowly just plugging away at all that to this day. A game is done when you decide, and if anyone tells you you're doing it wrong, either ignore them or call them out for how wrong they are in trying to tell you how to enjoy your experience.

Re: Out Of Bounds Discovery In Super Mario Bros. 3 Lets You Tag In Luigi

Poking around in old games is great fun, used to do it in Mario World back in the day with the Action Replay. One of the best codes I found changed Mario's physics so he died in the title screen, you could then take over, playing the title screen level, which is slightly different to the Special Zone "Groovy" level it appears to use.

"Outside of that, the design is identical to the Super Mario Bros. version – save the neat inclusion of the Triforce, which is embossed on the rear of the unit and actually lights up."

Excerpt from the review - was this text added after the original posting of the article? Or is there ANOTHER Triforce? 😂
