The best Mario game as a pack-in is good for those lifetime sale stats. Anyone picking new to Switch as this point are likely to pick up Mario lart anyway. The map packs have been nicely advertised and will continue to be.

and as expected, every version of the game is now even more broken, and they have introduced the premium skin shop, where everything costs blood money.

Gameloft repeated their history of crap. Do not buy this game.

All of this should be on the Nintendo Switch Online + expansion pack subscription.

Generally, I want to see more of Zelda throughout the games. She's the title character, and often she's reserved for the beginning and end, with small glimpses in the middle.

While I enjoyed piecing together her story in Breath of the Wild, I would have enjoyed seeing her more in the present part of the story.

Skyward Sword does a decent job, because it sets them up in a good way, but there's not that much development throughout, as it's mostly a chase until the last few parts.

Tears could be interesting, but we'll see.

Depite the low resolution, the art direction is so great, it doesn't really matter.

This is where the real money is made; on super cheap to produce plastic crap, sold at premium price.

And no news on performance improvements for Switch. I constantly see this in the eshop stop selling list, despite hearing it runs like crap.

All the other console versions are locked at 30fps right now to prevents crashes.

Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, is one of my favorite games of all time, and my favorite 2d Mario. I only wish it was as colorful as its level design and music.

If you're thinking of playing Link's Awakening DX, just skip it and do the Switch remake instead. The additonal buttons for item control simply makes it a way superior version.

@IronMan30 Nintendo sits with more money in their pockets through voucher purchases than they would from retail after every part of that supply chain gets a cut.

@AlexHarford One of the reason for layoffs in the above mentioned is also because of terribly planned aquisitions or initiatives that fall flat on their face. See Google Stadia, MS Azure etc.

Nintendo has the benefit of being a video game company, first and foremost. All their emoployers are there to produce something ciritical in their pipeline.

Nintendo makes money and is still good profit per share for shareholder. If you're a longtime holder, with belief in their next console, you understand that Switch has peaked.

Now on to climbing that next mountain.

@Yosher It'll be there for the next console, but N64, Snes and Nes won't be, so they'll drip feed in the opposite direction.

They need to publish fewer and better games. So many weird half-arsed titles with Square-Enix labeled on them.

@Dylansuxx Spoiler: it's all for nothing and the game will shut down with no way to maintain what you bought. Mobile games are not preserved. They are use and dispose.

If you did it on a credit card you might still be able to do a chargeback.
