I skipped the entire game by not buying it. This is Cyberpunk 2077 level garbage.
We as fans, deserve better.

I'm sad, but not surprised, at the fandom for accepting this technical mess and making excuses for the biggest IP in the world.

Another children’s game from Outright with one hour of content, that crashes when you press the start button? These guys shouldn’t be allowed to make or publish games. Beyond broken.

Botting in a game sure says a lot about how interesting it is to play.

Snowpeak Ruins from TP is my fav. It's atmosphere is totally unique and unlike anything else in the series.
It really felt as if I was cleaning someone elses house, and having fun doing it. Weird stuff.

Hoping Totk has a combination of older style dungeons and the smaller bite size ones from BOTW. While I enjoyed all the puzzle shrines and beasts from a gameplay perspective, they could've needed more unique art and overall presentation.

Insane that half is trash mobile games.

Anyway. a decline that is less of a % than most countries current yearly inflation is fine. We're gonna be fine.

That Legend of Zelda thing was fine. They should try to make a modern sequel.

@Rocky2418 The entire point is to get you to click and engage. The same way they "warn" about broken streetdates and roms being out for new games. It's counter productive for us who want to consume good content, but farms easy engagement.

Also, didn't Ash win in the Orange Isles arc? That was the last one I watched.

@Dr_Luigi How passionate volunteers have made a better product than Nintendo is insane. If it wasn’t for the major corporate culture disconnect, they would’ve hired a bunch of those people to build the service for them.

Ugh. Renewal is coming up this weekend. At this point, the only feature we’re dependant on is cloud saves.

It would be so simple for them add Gameboy/GBC/GBA, but they’d rather drip feed their loyal customers than give them access to a true evergreen service.

Long live my beautiful emulated collection, while my physical versions stand pretty on the shelf, with ever growing collector’s value.

I want more and better games for all players, something you should support. Tech has moved a long way since 2017.
WiiU also made a profit per console sold, but since they couldn't sell enough of them or thereby games, Nintendo could've seized to exist as we know them.

Just having a good version of Call of Duty on the platform could make a big impact on software sales.

@Ryu_Niiyama Their business model works. That's what they thought after the Wii and we all know how WiiU turned out.

@Paraka Sony is betting on their "Too big to fail" approach to exclusives. It's a bit Marvel Studios-esque in approach, for my taste. They'll all be on PC eventually anyway.

@shgamer Indeed, no excuse. The 360 version performs and looks better.

It's one of my favourite games, and I had hoped to introduce it to a few Switch friends. Unfortunately this version damages the brand so much that even the thought of AW2 on PC and other consoles sours in my mouth.

For third party games to be of consistent good quality, the Switch needs to have power equilant or higher than the Xbox Series S. That would make it less of an effort for developers and fewer trade-offs.

Nintendo players deserve that much.

@Dezzy70 Nintendo could keep making Nintendo games. BOTW is a great example of a game that even in 2017 would’ve been great on a stronger platform. Doesn’t need to be like the massive «too big to fail» Sony titles.
Nintendo game strenghts are art and design.

But the machine itself SHOULD be able to run whatever a third party would want to make, without massive compromises. See X series S for example.

@Dezzy70 Some want to be special for the sake of being special. Right now Nintendo rakes in cash profits on systems sales alone, no attach rate required. My humble thesis is that they’d make a ton more with full 3rd party catalogues, even if console sales themselves wouldn’t net profit.

@JeanPaul Wait for the day when it comes to Game Pass streaming instead. It is inevitable. That service is a subscription and functions 100x better.

On another hand: I've been playing wholes games on Game Pass Streaming recently. Works great, but it's only an OPTION.

I’ve never been able to get into Monster Hunter. Played a couple of hours of Rise, despite fine gameplay, it couldn’t hold me.
I’m one of those weird people who would jump on a narrative driven Monster Hunter, but I also know that’s not what series’ fans want.
