So far, I'm only excited for Zelda on Switch. Not going to speculate in unannounced titles.

Star Wars: Jedi Survivor on either console or pc. Fallen Order was great.

PSA: Play Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker with your kids. It's great.

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika According to howlongtobeat.com , they put so much effort in it, the first Peppa game had 1 hour of content, 1 1/2 for completionists. Outright puts out cheap, bad licensed games, that no one should buy for their children.

Kids deserve good games. Money shouldn't be spent on crap.

@calbeau Hoping that the game will perform reasonably on the platform with worst technical specs will never be whining.

Either it has to be decent enough, like No Man Sky, FF7 Crisis Core reunion, or other acceptable ports, or not released at all.
Even Sonic Frontiers looked decent enough, even if a massive downgrade.

Situations like Pokemon Scarlet/Violet, is not not acceptable, even if there are those who will drink massive amounts of copium to defend their pre-orders.

Switch only players deserve good versions of games. If they can't be decent, don't release at all.

I've only played them on emulator with sword action bound to a controller. Would love to see them remade into modern games.

@Ade117 That tech demo looked like how Twilight Princess looks in my memories, even if it doesn't in reality. TP art style looks so bad now because of the lack of detail.

Great style, in a good game with some uneven pacing, which was mostly fixed in the WiiU version.

Would like to see WW HD and the DS games playable on modern consoles, while the main line games continue moving tot he future.

@sixrings You hit the nail on the head with some very important things that I want to highlight:

1) Small updates with very little in them
2) They're too far apart.
Adding to number 2, we never know when or if a certain game like this will or won't get any updates.

The exception seems to be games like Xenoblade where the content is quite obviously not worth the price, and most feels carved from the main game to sell in pieces.

Good to see from this and other reviews, that it's a well done version of the game. They should marked it like hell.

I'm picking it cheap at a local retailer, as a gift to a friend who's been interested in FF but never dipped. This should be small enough to give him a good taste, and may be his entry to bigger RPGs.

This movie is a giant toy commercial anyways.

This game is on my forever increasing list of games I want to play one day. Hopefully it shows up on Game Pass next year.

Anyway, I might've used this to renew my online family subscription.

If anything, the Steam deck takes everything great about Switch and pushes it further. If Nintendo builds on the Switch, as I think they should, and don't go into WiiU mode, they have to push it further than Valve has done with the deck.

That's my hope.

You’re shilling really hard for this. It’s fine if you enjoy it, but I don’t, and have argued for other options on direction and content for this movie.

It looks like a toy commercial with no artistic justification, as creative as New Super Mario Bros, the most boring and bland Mario games.

Nintendo season passes add very little value. Adding new characters months after those who would want new ones have already comleted the game is very weird.

There are many ways season passes like these could be improved to serve as a better proposition for those who enjoy the base game and want more. Too bad you have nothing to add to that discussion.

@johnvboy Imagine something crazy like acting range and direction.
While I enjoy Pratt in Guardians of the Galaxy and Parcs & Rec, his voiceover performances in Lego Movie and Onward, shows that he doesn't have much range. Bankable name though.

While it has cool imagery, it's very much like a theme park.
Mario voice gets worse the more I hear of it, hopefully the localization is well done.

Due to the deal not being closed, expect it to take a couple of years before a Nintendo COD release. 2024-2025 at the earliest, so not on the current iteration of Nintendo Switch.

Good feature. Something I'd like to see more of. No clickbait, just interesting stuff from a great developer, while still having enough "commercial potential".

Couldn’t care less for COD personally, but having more 3rd party games on Nintendo consoles, especially M rated games, is a good thing.

However, this thing isn’t gonna happen until a massive hardware upgrade. Nintendo console players deserve great versions of multiplat games.

This could be great, but it's really dependant on not being too much "HEY, REMEMBER THAT THING FROM HARRY POTTER?".
Needs to be able to stand on its own without blatant fan service.

So much terrible slapstick in that trailer. The first trailer made it seem like it was an adventure movie with fun characters, while this had slapstick in place of character.

@Zequio I never watched that movie in full, just a few clips on the tubes, but I had to stop because I could feel myself dying of cringe.

I have good memories of some of the cartoon shows. Even rewatched some recently with a younger generation. They're fun and pulpy, even if not very deep.

It's a franchise / merchandise / branding / business thing.

This movie will either be great, or the biggest Nintendo disaster ever, ahead of WiiU and VirtualBoy.

If only the performance was rigged.
