This is interesting and troubling at the same time.
It's so hard to judge, because I have no clue what's the rate of pay for something like this. Is it a union job? Is she telling the truth?

Hoping NL could do some research on voice actor pay and reach out to the parties. I'd really like more information on this, because it matters to me in relation to what I buy.

Tour is the game that I have no interest in ever playing after trying it a few times, but I'm so jealous of its constant updates.

The Mario kart 8 dlc drip feed is annoying me to no end.

@BenAV That is the point, whether you agree or not. They've seen that their content retains value over time, a very different strategy to others who have 50% off sales after a few months.

Metroid Dread feels like a good deal at this price. I enjoyed it a lot, but thought it was a bit short on content for full price.

Sam & Max are good point and clicks, but if you're able to play on PC instead, the original versions are better, because of some weird content trimming, and cheaper.

Loved the original, but this is not a day one buy. By this time next year, the Gold edition will be half the price of launch price, with all dlc included.

@RobynAlecksys I'm not surprised? I'm pointing it out. I'm a big fan of expansion content, from old school PC game expansions to Fallout DLC, Mass Effect, as you mentioned (even if the price relative to amount of content was a bit uneven for that).
Bioshock Minervas Den, etc.

It's important to point out if the money relative to the amount of content you get is terribly uneven. This expansion pack looks to only be stuff carved out of the main game to sell to hardcore fans.

Btw, since you mentioned Mass Effect: Lair of the Shadow Broker is my fav piece of content for any game ever.

This season pass looks incredibly lame and bare-bones.

On another note: never buy collector's editions. Spend the spare money on games instead of crap that'll only collect dust.

@smeggysmeg Played 2 hours on a borrowed copy of Legends Archeus. It seemed ok-ish for a gameplay test, but the technical performance was so bad I couldn’t force myself further.
Enough had been said about the artistic presentation, or lack thereof.

@DiggleDog Indeed. It does not have to be 100% as it is in the games. It's all about direction. At this point though, Mario being a silent protagonist would work better in the movie than Chris Pratt.

I've enjoyed Pratt in many other things, including animation.

I rarely care for knowing much about actors beyond their work, but wanted to say that Charles Martinet seems to be a genuinely awesome person, from reading people's stories of meeting him.

He's my Mario.

All gamers would benefit from better Pokemon games, regardless of age, as would gaming as a whole.

@alasdair91 They're not doing anything, because peope keep buying their low effort crap. As someone who played the original games and a few here and there, I'm proud to have stopped.

Make a great game and you'll get my money.

Imagine if effort was put into graphics, sound and overall presentation.

Whatever you do, do not buy dual packs. Don't let yourself be exploited.

Everything or Nothing was a fantastic game, but it was an action game, hopefully this upcoming one will be a true spy game.

@somnambulanc "Remaster" seems to be a marketing term. A re-release on new platform doesn't sound as interesting.
Also "new this, new that", to make people who were fan of the originals double dip, for fear of missing out.

Sucks to hear about the performance. The original Life is Strange performed fine on X360 back when it was first released.
There's no excuse for those issues on Switch.

I've followed Giant Bomb since its conception, through ups and downs. It currently has a good crew with a nice amount of content going out.
Hoping they'll be able to stay strong.

Switch deserves some mature rated games.
If you're one who's been asking for that content, gogo buy.
