I thought maxis went bankrupt and closed down, did they reopen?

Buying Pokémon Pearl physical reminded me why I went all digital this generation.
I have a 3gb install for that game ánd a cartridge I need to unlock and play it. Physical media is dead already…. Nevertheless they should stop making these half physical releases and putting the extra costs for it to those who just buy digital. The digital version should be cheaper (and it’s better for the environment)

@Clyde_Radcliffe Ive been playing English titles most of my life. Even though I prefer the new translations to Dutch over the English translations, I don’t mind playing the original Japanese games, especially if the only text in Japanese is the one for hitting the “play button”

Rollercoaster tycoon 3 is already here at a good price… this game looks like a polished mobile version. And you can’t really polish a turd

I would love to play this at some point. Not a fan of the graphics though, they’re a bit too Generic 3D for me. This would have been an awesome opportunity to experiment with a new artstyle.

Was the option to update the dock already there before? I hadn’t noticed it before. In Dutch they don’t use the usual “dock” name, but opt for using the weird “switch holder” term which I’ve never seen before.

Im enjoying the game so much, I never had the opportunity to play it and the resolution upgrade/stable framerate next to portability is very enjoyable/preferable to the original to me. For me personally it would probably be worth 59,99€ now I hope they might one day port GTA V, and yes, preferably just port it and don’t mess it up like with the definitive edition trilogy

@SwitchForce even if the game fits on the cart, if there are any updates you’d still be downloading most of the game to your Micro SD. Then you’d be better off waiting for a potential reprint.

I will buy an OLED when the prices are going to be cut. But knowing Nintendo they won’t. 3dses were so hard to get once the switch came out and were almost as expensive as a switch in the end.

As far as I remember all physical games I bought came with a Nintendo seal (the Nintendo logo on the pull strip). That might be a Europe thing but it had been like that since the DS era

This is the mobile game right? Which they adapted for switch. Stay clear of ataris mess. Frontier (who made RCT3) actually released RCT3 on iOS to combat ataris awful use of the IP. You’re better off buying RCT 3 and something like let’s build a zoo instead
Edit; hmm the art looks completely different. Hopefully it’s not another cashgrab by Atari

Zelda was 70€ in 2017… and I agree with the value of that game.. the next title which equal development and content being 70€ again now is nothing shocking

The games Nintendo released after Zelda BOTW were still priced at 50€, and they also match value. SEGA needs to release better games if they charge 70

I’m not going to buy an expansion that gets added to online later. I already had it happen with Splatoon 2. I’ll hold off on this one

Breath of the wild was 70€ at launch… you can always just use the vouchers and pay 50€

Great step, most companies here in Europe are doing the same. It’s more of an inflation correction… sadly a necessity right now and good to see Nintendo doing its part.

The textures look less stretched on switch, somehow the rocks look better on Xbox but I feel the switch version looks much sharper. Interesting how that must’ve happened

So do I understand it correctly the controller does not charge via the joycon rails but has two seperate usb c ports? Why

Oh man I love rythm paradise, I haven’t bought melatonin yet but that looked very similar as well… Pity Nintendo doesn’t step in the ring but these all look like great replacements

It’s actually quite a fun game. It has its quality. Don’t compare it to AC directly, it’s a small team (one man?) and 15€ or something. Definitely lots of heart and ambition in this game.

I’m glad to see they’re updating it. I hope they also fixed the super slow cursor in design mode

Considering the switch install base it could be done just like with the wii silent hill… I hope so, would definitely buy it

Man, I liked her voice so so much in the games… now I’m even more salty for not including her…. I’m still on the fence about the game, might wait for her voice as dlc then

I'm still very unsure about how it will run on switch, but as always I'll follow this one with interest when it releases

I love Kuifje/Tintin but the art style of this game really puts me off…. I’ll follow this game with interest though and hope it turns out fine

But this means you’ll need to download both…. That’s kind of strange, I much rather only download the language you use… takes up less space that way

@Zeldinion how exactly is one install more convenient? I think it’s nice that you can install just one of the two, also it tracks play time properly that way.

Its awesome how the ps5 version is shown small in the corner even though the ps5 seriously needs new games right now and the switch is flooded with titles

I played the switch version the most, it’s sad how unfinished this version is. Still the handheld aspect of playing on switch beats my laptop.

Hmm, my 5 year old phone is running iOS 16 😅 so I guess the 2012 phones are unsupported from then on

A necessary addition, now I can finally use my pro controller to play resident evil village when it releases for my macbook
