For me i wish they’d fix the crash of tales of symphonia I can’t finish a boss fight since the cutscene after it makes it crash

I bought mine last year for 200€… it’s a lot of money but I was anticipating the price increase. It’s been filled up in weeks haha I wish they release a 2tb or more card

I have the 3ds version and loved it.., it’s tempting but I won’t pay more then 20… preferably even 15.. and since it’s Ubisoft it might be smart to just wait a year for a deep discount

@Tott no it’s an upgrade, which shares the virtual game card, but also the save game. Which in my opinion is important! (How can DQ11 saves not carry over even).

I bought the upgrade, glad they provide one! (Looking at you tomb raider collection)

Interestingly enough action (European retailer) suddenly had Sega megadrive classic copies (code in box) end of last year. Even though I couldn’t find the game on eshop I was able to get it with the download code. They sometimes have these weird physical switch games on offer. (And only for 7,99)

And now if only there was an upgrade path

@Moistnado it was with switch 1, I haven’t heard of any cases with switch 2 yet. Not like with switch 1 at least. Is it a thing? Most compact docks to date rely on the official switch 2 adapter, I’ve had zero issues using the jemdo cable with the official switch 2 adapter and I’ve been using it while on the go since August last year. Perhaps it’s different with a non official adapter.

I can’t recommend the jemdo switch 2 cable enough, it works so great and it’s just 30€. Also their support was very helpful after the switch patch. With my switch 1 covert dock from genki I’ve had awful support/service from genki. They’re not a great company.

@JimNorman when is the free switch 2 version coming available? It is still not up in Europe. I contacted Aspyr but haven’t heard back. I think a news outlet might get a more clear response.

@nintendolife Edit: they closed my ticket. I’ve opened a new one. It seems like Aspyr is trolling everyone with a fake free upgrade. Jim or anyone at Nlife: If you need updates feel free to reach out to me.

The free upgrade is not available (yet?) in Europe? Would be nice if there would be a European news outlet to cover these differences and write about them but I understand it’s messy with how the eshop works and such.

I hope my savegame carries over, looking forward to the update once it’s available for switch 2

I think the third is the best. 1 and 2 have their charm but being able to ride your rollercoasters elevated the third entry, also it’s the last “real” rct game before Atari went wild with the IP

Jemdo released an update and now it works great again, at least the hdmi adapter cable for me works great again

@Yosher so instead of physically owning the license you’d rather not physically own the license via steam. I mean I understand, I’ve been team digital since 3ds (I mean these are primarily portable systems) but I see Nintendo reaching out to grandparents and parents with the key cards as very consumer friendly. So what’s the difference with steam in this regard?

I mean it was 4K and whatever fps on all other platforms so unless it offers new content I probably wouldn’t upgrade

@Gedrick I was more triggered by the guys response: if it doesn’t harm you personally you shouldn’t care. Technically piracy hurts the entire industry. So if his money gets stolen by his logic I shouldn’t care. But theft is theft, and even NL was involved with FIOD so I do expect it to be organized crime not a honourable endeavour to preserve games. I enjoy games being made and even for these big companies they have an obligation to protect their property (by law) otherwise they give up their right to it.

This game isn’t even available in Europe… (only in the very few rare physical copies) sad the Nintendo eshop has to follow Germany which always has these terrible strict censoring policies.

Perhaps they could sell download codes in a box to avoid Germany but I don’t think even that is allowed.

@Alcea yes but I mean the physical sales numbers are very complicated, with key carts not counting as physical by most companies but as digital. So how do you compare?

These numbers are for physical games right? Who still buys physical, I bought 5 games and all digital…

@OldGamer999 there are YouTubers who tested cyberpunk running about 2:20 on a full charge. Apparently it tells its empty way before actually shutting off so the percentages are not really anything to go by.

I've actually recently been playing Okami HD and it made me remember I picked this game up on DS in the bargain bin when I bought my 3DS.

Okamiden has been my before bed game for the last month and Its a super nice game. Story wise not that interesting, so I understand the ignoring it part when Okami II happens. But it's definitely a worthwhile (and very impressive for DS) experience.

Performance is similar, weirdly I can’t seem to move my view around with touch… it’s a nice addition but having to switch between sticks and touch is not an optimal playstyle. Am I missing something? Also I haven’t noticed any better explanation…

@Overzeal the performance was fine really, it’s not an action game. But I do hope they fixed it

I would love to play the Indiana jones game on switch 2

Man Wuppo was such an amazing switch game this really looks like similar humor from the same creators so I’m super hyped

(Just saw wuppo is on sale currently, it’s more a open world platformer/metroidvania, made me think of super paper Mario in some ways)

Its still available in the EU so far. I bought the Steven universe game a while back, it’s nice but a bit generic and unbalanced sometimes

It’s interesting how RCT3 has such an amazing control scheme, I don’t miss touch there at all yet it does accept touch inputs I think to remember. I’m interested in this one so will pick it up just to see wether the cursor was actually necessary or just lazy.

Why is rollercoaster so grossly overpriced.. Atari again… first releasing rollercoaster tycoon touch/mobile (in app purchase for a loop?) and now this, they really don’t care about the franchise.

It sounds crazy but RCT3 really controls well on switch, I prefer it over mouse keyboard for a multitude of reasons (couch gaming is the biggest).

I’m looking forward to these nice sinterklaas game

Edit: 25€ is way too much, I expected 5€, this is 10€ on mobile and RCT3 is way more expansive…. I should’ve known, this is Atari publishing
