@Dom_31 honestly the lego mario bigfig line has so much potential and its so tragic that they dont use it. I think thats what theyre planning with the mariokart sets in 2025 (to make a new gamemode) but id much prefer this: a mario rpg mode. Youd select that gamemode on whatever tablet youve bluetooth connected mario to, and now whenever you stomp on an enemy, a battle begins! You use the phone as your battle menu, and you do action commands USING mario! Hes got a gyroscope in him, why not use it? Enemies can drop coins, xp, items, etc. interacting with toads or yoshis could trigger conversation, with specific characters being shopkeeps. You could pair mario with luigi or peach or both if you wanted to battle with friends, etc. etc. The best part is that it would take literally ZERO workaround since all the pieces they need are already there (literally)! Everything is all in place, they just need to use what they already have produced and sold to make something new

@Vivianeat nah, its all the club nintendo stuff thats super collectable. When comparing their prizes to mynintendo's, its not even close. I mean maaaaybe a few items like the keychains will be sought after in the future but club nintendo had some crazy stuff! Like figurines, custom controllers, new game releases osts, LIFESIZE MARIOKART TROPHIES. If you think you can do it without being overcome without jealousy and regret, go check out the club nintendo's full roster of prizes. Its super neat history and makes me wish i wasnt like a 9 year old at the time who didnt understand how to use the service

looking forward to seeing the unannounced 18+ set for this year, hoping its something in-line with the nes or question block

It’s so nice to see such a unanimously respectful and kind response. Gosh knows he deserves it; I may not have watched dbz but it’s obvious even to an outsider like me how much of a powerful effect he had on the entertainment industry and the world with all of his works. Rest in peace. He may be gone but it doesn’t take a genius to see he’ll never be forgotten and that he’ll keep on inspiring new artists and creatives for years to come

@DanijoEX-the-Pierrot its not exactly a pokemon-like but as someone who used to REALLY love pokemon, persona 5 royal really scratched an itch that i never even knew i had. Honestly, i think its a game anyone could like but i think it really hits home for the people that have been dealing with the pokemon company's inconsistency for years. Its just a really damn good game, def in my top 3 of all time

now THIS is a good idea! ill be launching the snes app for the first time in a bit thanks to this little promotion

@Arawn93 i regret it now, but i emulated totk before it came out. Ofc i had already preordered it and only played it this way at first because i was impaitent, but it makes me wonder how many people that played it like that had already bought their copy and just couldnt wait like me. After all, most people that emulate a game or console are dedicated fans that own the original. Ive def learned my lesson regarding the playing early thing since it kind of ruined my experience through technical difficulties and the like

im sure this wont be the last we hear of these emulators, but im cool with that. I cant say i fully support emulators for consoles that are currently being sold, but it was still nice to know it was a resource. I dont get all the preaching im seeing here in the comments, but you guys do you i guess

@Gamepro500 11k is a LOT of games. Even if only 1 quarter of them are good, that's a whole lot of videogamin' that we wont even get the chance to wipe off our backlogs. Yeah, it stinks that a lot of them are trash. But a: h--tai games on a nintendo platform will never cease to be hysterical to me and b: how many of those good games have you played for yourself? I know ive just barely begun to dig in!

say what you want about the library's consistency, but no one can deny just how awesome the switch is. Seriously, way to go nintendo! you really nailed it with this one. The shock factor has worn off by now, but i still remember how crazy it was to me to be able to just take the console and go wherever i wanted. Its been an incredible journey and cheers to whatever comes next!

I don’t know what to think anymore, all I know is that this year just kinda feels right to me for a new console release. But it’s a little silly how we’ve done nothing but talk about delays for a console that doesn’t really exist yet. I’m not a big fan of this kind of take usually, but I think we could do with a lot less of rumor pieces here. I get that you won’t cause I’m sure they do great for reader engagement and the like, but I’d certainly appreciate it

@LadyCharlie thats not the point tho its so that people who are casual gamers get the chance to become fans of the series overall so that more games are made for that fandom. i think it was pretty decent, like a 6.5 or 7. nothing really appealed to me and i got 0/3 in terms of what i was hoping for (persona 3 reload port, more sonic x shadow news, or hi fi rush port). I didnt really expect the first 2 to happen, but i definitely though that hi fi rush would be here. Though i may have to try that smt 5 vengeance game since i never bought the original due to my persona fandom being pretty fresh. Also, monkey ball is really awesome to see! Overall, it had a lot of cool stuff but a: none of it appealed to me really and b: its a little crazy when comparing it to that e3 2022 partner showcase. For real, that show kicked ass.

as much as i would have liked to see persona 3 reload instead this is pretty neat

now THIS is interesting to me, and i think it's worth a look. We basically already know that hi-fi rush is coming to switch due to all the leaks and such. So why wasn't it here? could it signal an actual first party direct, cause i dont see them just shadow dropping one of the best games of 2023 overnight. Nah, they would totally milk this! So either theyre waiting for an xbox presentation or nintendo has got a direct planned. I mean MAYBE it could just be a june announcement, but idk. For a port, that seems like a pretty long wait. Perhaps they're not following their usual schedule and have got something in the works soon? idk this is all just me bs-ing but i digress
