@Bratwurst35 im hopin persona ive never used actual money in any f2p game but to hit the default dance on my enemies as joker himself would go crazy. i get that people dont like fortnite but with every crossover the game just gets funnier and funnier like look me in the eyes and tell me peter griffin vs deku midoriya isnt a legendary 1v1

reading through nintendolife comments on a regular basis makes me understand why nintendo struggles to make the right calls from time to time. The community's voice is so inconsistent and can be so hard to track. I thought people wanted a return to older paper mario form, but apparently not now? I have no idea what to think anymore, we could do well with a community-wide chill pill

@Sciqueen interesting! I can definentely understand where youre coming from and me from 6 months ago would have been right there with you. Honestly, i think the thing that hurt this game the most was covid. If the game took a year or two less to make, it would have been a lot easier to accept totk for what it is, at least for me. And idk if i agree with the lazy argument, except in the reusage of old tracks department. Too many songs are reused, remixes for the town themes would have gone a long way to signify their growth and how theyve changed in big and small ways over the years

@Sciqueen i was there with you for a bit last year, but i dunno man. Its worth giving games second and even third chances, cause even though the game doesnt change, YOU do. Im not saying youd like it, but ik how easy it is to get stuck in a clear-cut mental groove of how "I hate this one game and there aint no way to talk me out of it". I used to hate sonic colors, but i gave myself enough time to sit with it and i grew to quite like it! I used to think that i hated jrpgs and anime games in general, but ive grown into a pretty big persona and fire emblem fan over the years. I suppose my point is that its worth giving games, and pretty much anything in life in general, a second look, even after youve made an initial judgement call.

after having a year to let it sit with me, i can easily put my complaints aside to say that omg this game is really good

im shocked that this reception is this cold! If the concept of boosting is whats holding you back then i highly encourage you to try sonic generations. Modern sonic games, despite what the fandom and forces would like you to believe, are not boost to win. It's a meter management mechanic cleverly implemented to fit within the sonic formula that rewards good management with faster times and more exhilarating runs. Seriously, when sonic x shadow comes out (if they dont screw up the port at least) give it a go! That game is the reason ive put up with sega's ***** all these years, its that good

sweet! As convenient as digital only is, it's undeniably waaaay more fun to go out, get the game, unwrap the plastic, see the cartridge art for the first time, organize the box with the rest of your games, ect ect

@BenAV check out the youtuber Nintendo Forecast, the guy literally just made a video about this earlier today and explained how SOMETHING like this had to happen soon b/c of laws in japan. Also his channel is really cool in general give it a look

god, mario kart just does not stop printing money. I mean i love to see it but it feels like everyone who wanted it would have already had it by this point!

i know history points to me being wrong, but i just have this feeling about the switch successor and 2025 man. I really think this is going to be nintendo's ps2 crazy appeal console generation. All the cards really are lining up for a really encouraging new age for nintendo. If they can seriously pack the power of a ps4 into a reasonably priced handheld hybrid console, i will be VERY happy. That and backwards compatibility, thats all i really ask. Either way, i am VERY excited to see what they show at the june direct and whatever may come after! We're finally in the homestretch folks, just a little longer until we finally get there!

@Kestrel i really think i would have liked my time with tears a LOT more if there were just more sky islands, and more unique ones at that. Seriously, just a few more great sky island-sized ones would have totally done it for me

tell ya what gamefreak, ill bite once you fix the game. Despite the fact that you dont have any incentive to, i would go crazy if youd really put some elbow grease into your games rather than having the hutzpah to ask for 60$+ (dlc) for the really cool games youre selling at the price point theyre at! You have so much money, please USE it! I get it, no one likes that one guy who comes into the conversation with little relevant prompt with guns a'blazin about some garbage no one cares about anymore. It seems IM that guy right now, which i dont know how i feel about but here we are. I can really relate with @Arehexes and @Chocobo_Shepherd; if its fun then why bother complaining? Ive been a pokemon fan my whole life, so its not like im an unseasoned onlooker. I just know that they can do so much more, so why not demand it? Honestly, i kinda envy you guys. I really miss being a part of the pokemon hype cycle, especially since arceus gave me a taste of what i knew they had in them all along. I just wish they could make games that reflect their level of dev, money, and ip power.

@Apebitmusic it makes sense under the idea that they'll be held on their sides, no one wants to use the controller with the dpad that doubles as face buttons vs the the controller with the face buttons that double as a dpad when doing a smash 1v1. it would be great to have an alternative option though, with all the features of a left joycon but with an actual dpad

huh! i cant say i expected it to sell this well but its interesting to see that there's such a big audience for this kind of game. maybe someday ill pick it up, but as of rn it being the game that it is at the price point it is im not exactly jumping at the chance to give it a go

i know all the cards seem to be aligned for this movie to be a disaster, but im getting a weirdly good feeling from this movie. Its too early to say anything but who knows it might be good!

even though the emulation is a little screwy, ive been playing the original paper mario through delta! Its a lot of fun and incredibly convinent to have on my phone. I started a playthrough on my switch through NSO, but i fell off around the toybox area for whatever reason. But with having it in my pocket at a much more consistent rate, i think ill be seeing it through this time around
