i mean it definitely has its inspirations, and no one can deny that. but if its a good game, then more power to it! the ai art bit is interesting though. I'm wondering how ai will be creatively implemented in gaming besides the usual suspects. I think we forget that it is a tool that, in the right hands, could do a lot for game development. I doubt this game will be the one to do it, but just reading about the ai art section of the article got me thinking about it.

i dont get why people are so mad about the amount of games on the eshop. I get it, there's a lot of asset-flip garbage. But asset flip shovelware always has been and always will be hilarious! They definitely need to have some sort of team to filter out all the hentai visual novels, but other than that, im not sure i want to see all the low-quality garbage go. Though it makes it hard to forgive when scrolling THROUGH the garbage to get to the good stuff takes a million years since nintendo cant make a non-laggy eshop

Sega can make good games, they just need to have the patience to let their projects nail the landing! They certainly don't lack the experience or developer talent, they just have a really terrible tendency to rush their projects straight to the grave before they even have the chance to be good, ESPECIALLY with sonic. it does worry me that they're tackling so many projects at once, but I don't want to call it over before we've gotten the chance to really see them in action. I mean hell, they could just be taking the Netflix approach of just throwing everything at the wall and see what sticks, and that didn't NOT work for Netflix! Overall, I'm just plain interested to see how everything plays out.

i played the remake for the first time the summer before last and it has definitely stood the test of time. There's a reason the original is the highest rated Metacritic game, it kicks major ass

@-wc- id say it will go down in price like the 3ds (assuming the analyst is right) but i get the feeling that they wont need to for this console

nothing about this is cemented to be true, as if you look at past news cycles for this time period of new nintendo systems on the horizon, you see all kinds of analysts giving their takes and whether theyre right is up to chance. but with that being said, this is the most likely path they will take if they dont pull a nintendo and try and reinvent the wheel.

ive gone on quite the internal journey with this game, and ive landed in a spot where i can confidentely say that yeah, i get why people would put it as the GOTY. It really is impressive how much there is in the game and how much there is to do

@h_padoan true, it really could have used some dlc. imagine tycoon town on modern hardware i dont even think the playstation could run that kind of raw graphical and mechanical power

one day people are actually gonna try the game and minds will be blown. I was coerced into it last december by some friends, havent spent a single cent and never will, and its a blast! never do i feel obligated to spend, its great. seriously, if THATS why youre hating on it then youve got the wrong idea about the game
