Re: Talking Point: Would You Want Quality And Performance Options For Nintendo's 'Switch 2' Games?

@Maubari I don't see anyway back for sony or microsoft, corporations as so self serving nowadays. They merely paint a picture of care and concern for their customers in order to keep taking their money.

I do have a little concern with Nintendo as I feel the overall build quality with regard to switch and their own brand peripherols has been shaky this generation. I have had one issue with a joycon drfiting, one procontroller just stopped working, and also my day one switch console just got clunky and didn't run games properly. Previously I bought a gamecube, Wii, WiiU, Gameboy, 3DS, GBA, all on day one and never had the need to replace any of them.
I am hoping they going to address this for the next console.

@Pillowpants Thank you for replying, and apologies for being slow in replying. I'm not personally that interested in replaying the old games, and really don't have any appreciation of fan art which makes it easy for me to fall on Nintendo's side for those. I don't have any issues with people doing as they please in their own homes, but i do get the impression that people are often using the IP's in order to popularise themselves. In turn advertising their work and themselves to a wider audience, which leads to monetizing.
I get the way you feel about music, it seems that Nintendo wants to hold the cards, but then it doesn't sell it to people. My ony guess is that they don't feel they would profit enough, business doesn't seem to care if their isn't enough money invovled nowadays. The same as the FOMO they seem to like to create over certain items, rather than selling more they seem to prefer to have an exclusitivity with things.

I am pretty much always happy to accept whatever Nintendo do (I know, I know) and find it easy to accept the different directions that they take, even if they don't always suit me personally. I think people hold to high expectations and want things to be what they think and feel, it's no wonder marriages don't last as long now.
Thanks again for the comment, I hope you have a great weekend.

@AndyRogan I definitely copied a few games, but after a while they made that difficult. Also used to change the £2.99 price stickers for the £1.99 one's!! But I always knew what I was doing was illegal, and didn't go around shouting about it.

My comment is more poking at the expectation that because a game is old it is fair game to do as you wish.

I agree with others, this company has been in decline for years. Many years ago I couldn't walk past a Game/Gamestation without having a look, haven't been in much since they started making the place look like a pawn shop, full of phones and tech.
