I feel this is the slow process of all out digital from microsoft, I believe that you will only buy controllers in the future. They will connect to any devise which will stream the games.
Not too sure what point we are in that but looks like we will hear something from them this week.

@PessitheMystic I guess it's obvious they are happy to support this man, and what he's doing. They love a good modding story, they were lauding a mod on a game that hasn't even been released today.
They also do 'double standard too, because they are happy to cancel things if they have a personal issue, like the failing to review the Harry Potter game.

@Kiwi_Unlimited No I haven't played it but I have heard it has a few interesting ideas that have been implemented well. So I think it's a bit cheap to try and use something else to promote yourself, but if you have made the game enjoyable then that's not a bad thing. I am not likely to be able to play this one as I only have a switch, but you never know.
Personally I am not a fan of the concept of games ideas coming from marketing but as I said if it makes a fun game then so be it.

@Duffman92 you hit the nail on the head there.

We do not need more games like Palworld! This game is made by marketing, not by creative individuals. We need those individuals to be allowed to use new ideas in games.

This is the same score I gave in the recent poll, and I think it to be perfectly fair. The game is good and should be easy for people who like puzzle games with some story to enjoy. But for the intrigued who don't like those things then I would suggest to steer clear.

This is just another nail in the coffin, this time they are after physical games, next is the console.

In some ways you have to look at the digital world as a way of saving world resource, however governments are not regulating the industry and this is allowing business to take the p*** out of consumers. The biggest example is that they charge the same or more for digital against physical, how on earth do they work that out!

She was the CEO for the post office during the biggest miscarriage of justice in the UK. She knowingly allowed people to be prosecuted for crimes that she knew they didn't commit. Over 500 people were fined/jailed/bankrupted, some even committed suicide, while she lied and did everything she could to protest the business she ran.
I would also mention she has CBE and was a cleric, no god fairing person should ever stoop as low.

@Rozetta I wore grooves into the screen playing meteos. But I am not sure if it is possible to make it better, or that the switch screen could cope.

@SwagaliciousJohnson You are completely right about the way that older people feel about gaming. I am personally 51 and although the beginnings of the industry was a great time for me, because I loved it. But it was heavily criticised for taking people away from outside hobbies at that time, and it really did then because most hobbies at the time made people go outside.
It's only since the wii and phones/ipads have come along which really changed that rhetoric by bringing gaming to a wider audience, so really people are just holding on to that old generalisation.
Just ignore them, they are wrong and gaming is great!

@CharlieZee I haven't listened to the podcast, but there was a Panorama program on it a year or two ago which was very good. The current dramatization has been really good, and is very much how the same story on how it came out and how the post office dealt with it.
Many people need to be accountable for what they did, Paula Vennells is evil to the core.

@Scollurio There is also the other end of the scale, the 'white collar crime', if you are aware of 'Post Office scandal' in the UK. Then it's amazing what you can do and it's not even a crime.

It used to be more a thing that we got a computer game based on a movie, now it's the other way round.

I just saw this as an upgrade and despite there being a few games that were exclusive I never considered it worth it. I just carried on playing the grey brick until the advance and I never felt I missed anything.
I seem to remember there was already rumours about the advance when this released too. That really added to the feeling that this was just a quick upgrade to slightly extend the shelf live of the game boy rather than being the next real Nintendo console.

It doesn't look like it would be my game of the year!

Lets hope the game preservationists have logged this and the many similar gems out there. It's important we keep this for the future.

Thanks for some amazing memories E3. The biggest loss here is the pressure it put on games makers to make their games memorable.
But the world is a changing place and the format isn't needed anymore. As long and we get directs, and whatever ever the other companies call them then will be fine as consumers.

If the look of that is supposed to be next gen then I'll pass thanks, it doesn't look like much of a step up to me.

I really dislike the way they are treating splatoon 3 like its a live service game. It's a full price game and I seem to remember a much shorter timeframe for release of new content for the previous versions.

Maybe I wouldn't have been so quick to stop playing this if all this content was released differently.

My 10 year old has V bucks higher in his christmas list than any games.

I would make the game more like the original and less like the newer versions. I find them too floaty and the rubber banding a massive issue, also take out the customisation on the vehicles, just keep it to the characters.

But a pretty similar game to all the previous one's with a little gimmick on the side, as per usual.

The only reason I have ever owned a non-nintendo console was so I could play Rockstar games. I wouldn't do that now.

Not fussed about bayonetta or okami but I'd be all over another viewtiful joe.

Really not difficult here, get baddy to kidnap a princess and get a hero to rescue her. Job done

And if they can make that scene from ocarina when link looks through the window at Zelda and Gannon then that'll sell it to me.
