@LXP8 I found the story dull and the puzzles unimaginative, add it lost a point as I was virtually forced to play due to poor release games at the time. Do you really think it was good enough to be remade?
Another code - barely average DS game Thousand year door - highly overrated Luigi Mansion 2 - Remake Mario v DK - Remake
The other two can't really be judged yet, but one of them is still at TBA. This looks to me like a list that could easily run concurrently with a release of a new console, or at least at the same time as an announced new console.
@FishyS I think the xbox community that Phil is referring to is the enforced account creation in order to be able to actual use the thing that you have bought from them.
Definitely Sunshine for me, some of the levels were almost impossible because of the camera and control. Unlike Lost Levels where I relished the challenge and got great satisfaction from completing.
I will never understand many peoples logic regarding ownership and how they feel that something that is popular loses that. To bring it down a few levels, if I woke up this morning and found someone started selling stuff from my back garden then I have an issue with that, and even if I did decide that they could then I would have rules.
@SoIDecidedTo Thanks, we are taking our 11yr old son, hoping to show him what a big world we all live in. It has taken a long time to save the money but plan to make it a memorable trip.
@Yojimbo Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately our schedule is pretty worked out and what with the fact we have already been to Kyoto, and plan to visit so many Nintendo places already, I just don't think I can justify it! You work in a great place, we loved it! especially the Geisha district and train station.
I am a little gutted to read about this, I am booked to go to Tokyo and Osaka in February and of course I will be visiting Universal, lots of pokemon centres and the Osaka and Tokyo Nintendo Stores. But not this one, AHHH!!!
@Jiggies I've never been very good at 'you should know better'.
@Bobb Definitely, in all the places I have worked there has never been a chance of being in a union, and the mining strike was not pretty from my memory. But I always appreciate all opinions, it's what makes us all individuals.
@yoshifanboy I don't need to do anymore thinking, but you carry on peeing in their pot, the union fat cats love your money. @Woderwick I am pleased that you have a good experience with your union, but at the end of the day they do no more than what a individual could do without them. And they hardly represent 10% of UK workers and in my opinion are just as full of greed as business in general.
I don't have one of these cleansing things you mention, I literally obsessively play one game, eventually find an end, then start obsessively playing another one.
@LadyCharlie "There is also nothing anyone can ever say to me that will ever make me empathize with any members of the CEO class, under any circumstance. My hardline stance is exactly that."
Always read your comments with interest and this statement I agree with whole heartedly. People need to understand the word 'fair' because while top CEO's live a live of Riley and allow workers to 'get by' I will always stand with you on this. I often wonder how many people agree with this sentiment or are just wannabe CEO's because greed is not just a rich persons thing in my opinion.
No point acting like this is 'damage control', they know what they are doing. This is all part of their negotiation with their users, as the article says this is not the end of this.
Maybe games makers will actually program games in the old fashion way, stop them regurgitating games that only have a different face but feel the same!
I didn't like another code and I think the paper mario is overrated. But overall I thought they showed lots of things to be interested in, in fact more than I expected with all the talk of switch 2. And it made me think that it would be more later in the year before we would hear anything about new hardware.
Sorry I can't agree with the comments that due to the nintendo evolving as a company that it makes them an entertainment company. Yes there is the history of other things they have done, but games have been the sole focus ever since game and watch which is 40 years. They are a business and if they see that that gaming has opened an opportunity to make some money elsewhere then they will.
Is this really censorship, or is it making things suitable for a wider age group. A bit like the fact that you are not allowed a gambling mechanic in games below a certain age. I am all for it personally.
I remember being able to play slot machines on the spectrum/commodore days, and in the early pokemon games. I don't see that a good thing that I was able to learn so much about gambling so young.

Re: Microsoft Will Think Of Nintendo Users As "Part Of The Xbox Community" Going Forward
@HeadPirate I love your way of thinking, in using companies who benefit you the most, at the time it suits them too.
Now, more than ever, everybody should do this. Like you say corporations are not here for us, unless it benefits them. Do the same back to them.
Re: Nintendo Reconfirms Release Windows For Major Upcoming Switch Games
I don't feel that excited by this list -
Another code - barely average DS game
Thousand year door - highly overrated
Luigi Mansion 2 - Remake
Mario v DK - Remake
The other two can't really be judged yet, but one of them is still at TBA. This looks to me like a list that could easily run concurrently with a release of a new console, or at least at the same time as an announced new console.

Well Done Mario, we know your the king!!

Re: Random: Sakurai Reckons Both Mario Wonder And Spider-Man 2 Are Masterpieces
Personally I would rather he made another computer game rather than hear what he likes on his toast!
Re: Random: This Drink Driving Game Is A Nasty Blemish On The Switch eShop
3+ rating!! That's shocking they have allowed that.
Otherwise I am all for games that give escapism of reality, I personally really enjoyed playing out things in GTA that obviously I wouldn't IRL.
Re: UK Charts: Mario Wonder And Sonic Superstars Start Strong, But Neither Can Out-Swing Spidey
Hopefully Spidey will be on top for as long as it takes to complete the game!
Re: Ayaneo's New Handheld Looks Like A 2023 Nintendo DS Successor

Re: Feature: A Look Inside Seattle's Real-Life Animal Crossing Aquarium
Animal crossing collab with Aquarium - relaxed affair
Pokemon collab with Gallery - Carnage!
Re: Pokémon GO Introduces Brand New Multiplayer Feature 'Party Play'
Niantic trying to reignite that community that is long gone, and this doesn't look like it'll change that either.
This is not about not going out, it's about trying to go out and find others to do it with.
Re: It's Over, Microsoft Has Officially Acquired Activision Blizzard
Shame on all the regulators around the world!!!!
Currently in the UK there is a massive hate towards many different regulators with good reason.

My Pokeball 2ds is not ugly!!
But also different to the one in the images above.
Re: Hideki Kamiya Launches YouTube Channel And Reveals His Upcoming Plans

@Woderwick The tories trying to undermine unions is the only good thing they are doing. Unions and communism, works on paper but not in reality.

Nintendo are also going to demo the game at EGX next week, I am looking forward to having a go.

Yep the fan community has been hacking it since the day it was released, and here confirmed into the future too.

Yes kids this is top end gaming back in 1984!
Now called hidden gems, not too sure about that, very difficult to appreciate without nostalgia.

Re: Poll: Hasn't Nintendo Always Been An 'Entertainment' Company?
It's a gaming company which sells a bit of merchandise to up the profits.
But this is why they have made this new statement, because in recent times the priorities have changed.
