@turmeric16 the problem is that the regular joe don’t use ai. it’s the companies who use it to replace the regular joe with ai.

this is an impressive port. i remember not being able to play it on steam deck when it arrived because of how bad the fps/muddy graphics. i don’t know if they made any good changes for SD in time as i finish the game on my PC.

you’ll think this competition will push nintendo to improve their game instead of this silly lawsuits.

it’s funny how everyone just assumes it’s normal for old hardware to be more expensive because of the damn AI. The companies created the perfect environment to rise the prices again and again, with people being happy to pay whatever they ask.

incredible game, so many great ideas implemented 10/10. capcom is a beast this year.

if switch will have been the only affordable handheld, i will have got the game 100% even for that price. the fact that steam deck exists and i can use the same game on my pc and on steam deck make this offer from switch a no buy.

so many games have this as minus ‘Performance takes a hit in handheld mode’. i only in handheld mode, if the all around games is 7, then how much it is for handheld?

pls make 2 reviews, one for handheld and one for docked. i 100% play my games handheld. seeing that the game got an 8 and a minus was inconsistency of frames in handheld, looks like it’s pretty unplayable.

I don't understand the news about old games. when this became the norm, to wait. Shouldn't they work automatically on a better device? For example, if I upgrade my graphics card from a 3080 to a 4080, I should just be able to launch the game and play at better graphics because my new card is more powerful. Old games should automatically work on new consoles with better graphics.
On PC, you are in charge of unlocking that potential. On consoles, the company is in charge of making it possible in the first place.

Why does the Switch 2 need ports for third-party games? It is more powerful than a Steam Deck, and if the Deck can run a game, why not just let people get it from Steam and tweak the settings as they like? That would be so much easier.

that’s why i play the game on steam deck, it’s relatively easy to mod it, adjust the difficulty and actually enjoy the game. it’s a shame switch 2 is not more open to be able to mod your games.

The idea of paying a tax just to play on a better device is crazy. If I have a game that doesn’t run on an old GPU for PC, and then I buy a better GPU, I can’t imagine having to pay an extra tax for that.

It’s not that Nintendo couldn’t have made an OLED version, it’s just that this is the easy way for handhelds these days. They can release a 'Pro' version with an OLED screen in 3-4 years to stay relevant without needing to improve the specs.

Mario Kart and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze were among the few games I couldn’t get into when I first got my Switch. That’s why I skipped Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and why I’m not interested in Donkey Kong’s next game either. What I’d really love to play is a new Xenoblade Chronicles, a remaster of XC2, a sequel to Super Mario Odyssey, a new Luigi’s Mansion, or a new Zelda game.

for me, playing this on steam deck was amazing. especially because i could mod it. and that was 3 years ago. i’m sure it will be great on switch 2 too, but some of you to say it was unplayable on deck just to make it seem that this game is only playable on switch 2 is… ugh.

loved the game on deck, especially because i could mod the game as i wanted, making a more fun experience for a second walkthrough. don’t think i’ll buy it again when my ns2 arrives. that’s what makes steam deck a great handheld for me for third party games, if i own the game on pc, i don’t need to buy it again to try on handheld.
