Re: Preview: Buckets Of Fun With Paper Mario: Color Splash

capitalism

Loved Super Paper Mario on Wii and I never played Sticker Star but I like the adventure focus over the RPG style personally. I played Paper Mario 64 over at a friend's house back in the 64 era but it wasn't a memorable experience for me like everyone chalks it up to be. Maybe it's because I didn't have the game myself and didn't play through the whole thing but it just didn't pull me in. Anyways pumped for this and can't wait for October 7th!

Re: Talking Point: Unique and Affordable - Nintendo's NX Needs to Avoid Direct Competition With PlayStation and Xbox

capitalism

I think the sweet spot is power that matches the first gen Xbox one and/or PS4 (to get third party support)and an appealing Nintendo gimmick (to get the casuals on board). And I have a hunch that gimmick is going to be gaming on the go and being able to connect any blue tooth enabled device to your system to play Android/iOS games on your TV. But seriously Nintendo, show us the damn thing!

Re: Ubisoft Has "Surprises" Yet to be Announced for Nintendo NX

capitalism

For the most part Ubisoft has been loyal to Nintendo over the years and I really like their games so they still hold a special place in my gaming heart. Yes I know there will be the casual stuff too but here is what I would like to see:

For Honor
Steep
Ghost Recon Wildlands
Assassins Creed V

Re: Talking Point: Considering the Angles of a Portable and Dynamic Nintendo NX

capitalism

My sweet spot will be if the handheld has a X1 chip and the home docking station has a X2 chip. Badass looking games on the go and enough power to compete with the rivals at home. They could also give budget conscious consumers and parents an option to buy the NX handheld with a basic docking station that adds no extra power or they could sell stand alone NX handhelds with a cord to connect to the TV. We shall see but I really hope Nintendo has a X2 chip in one of the sku's

Re: Interview: Yoshifumi Hashimoto talks us through Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns

@Shiek

Sorry I don't think same sex marriage has any place in a Story of Seasons game and I'm honestly sick and tired of a vocal minority bringing it up. It's been a great game without it for this long so it's not needed to make it a great game now. Stop trying to shove your lifestyle down everybody else's throats. The developers obviously don't like the idea either and like the other guy said I think it would ruin the atmosphere.

Thanks for the great interview Morgan. As a long time fan of the Harvest Moon(Story of Seasons) franchise this is greatly appreciated. I like that they're going back to multiple towns and the ability to tweak character attributes sounds awesome. Hopefully I can mine a little sooner now 😃. Like I said in another post I'm really looking forward to the pets having more of a role as well. Definitely picking this up and I cant wait! If I could put a request in though I would love a Story of Seasons game on the NX that's built for the system. It's been too long since Tree of Tranquility on Wii and I absolutely loved that game. Please Marvelous and XSeed, make it happen!

Currently playing the first one and I love it so all the improvements are just icing on the cake. I like how pets are going to have more of a significant role and it's pretty cool we'll be able to write letters. Thank God the shipping box is back because that's my only gripe with the first one. Can't wait and Winter 2016 sounds great to me!

Re: E3 2016: Check Out the Paper Mario: Color Splash E3 Trailer

capitalism

I love how Color Splash looked and played. They really went all out with the cardboard/construction paper world and the colors really pop. The card mechanic in battle is awesome and I really want one of those shirts they were wearing while showing off the game. Stop talking about how you want a new TTYD Paper Mario game and embrace the future for once. You know what, I loved Super Paper Mario on the Wii and a bunch of so called fans love to talk crap about that one as well. If you dimwits want to compare every Paper Mario to TTYD, fine, but obviously Nintendo wants to experiment with the franchise and as a fan I couldn't be more excited. Count me in on day one because the release date is right by my birthday!

Re: Poll: Are You Excited About Nintendo's Expanded E3 Plans?

capitalism

Look at all the 12 year olds that have to eat crow today! Anybody that has a brain could of told you that Nintendo said Zelda was the only PLAYABLE game and that didn't mean that was the only game that was going to be there. But no, you little dorks took the chance to push your "Nintendo is doomed" theory and now you just look stupid. Zelda, Pokemon, Monster Hunter, Dragon Quest are already confirmed now and I would wager there's even more than that including Paper Mario, some surprises, and a lot of indie games. I'm sorry after the news today I can honestly say as a Nintendo fan I'm pumped about E3 again!

I live in America and I own guns and I love this. You all need to grow some balls around here. We all know the cops carry Billy clubs around in the UK but here in America we believe in defending private property and yes living off the land. Oh yeah and it's also a big help to have one when the bad guys have them. Kinda puts ya on a level playing field.

Re: Talking Point: Sony's PlayStation VR Launch Adds Pressure to Nintendo's Holiday - and Perhaps NX - Plans

capitalism

I think it's hilarious Sony moved their vr launch to fall and Microsoft is basically begging Sony to have cross platform play when there's a rumor going around saying NX is going to be cross compatible with PS4. Imitation is the highest form of flattery. Nintendo is obviously still relevant in the gaming scene since every major company loves to copy their strategies.

Re: Talking Point: Why Does Investor Confidence in Nintendo Continue to Dip Under Tatsumi Kimishima?

capitalism

@electrolite77

All those games will be new in North America which is Nintendo's biggest market so the fact that some of the games released earlier in other regions doesn't mean much in regards to sales. And lets not forget 3DS that has Tri Force Heroes and Happy Home Designer out for the Holidays which I'm predicting both will sell very well. Just because Nintendo doesn't have Zelda or Starfox doesn't mean their holiday line up is weak. Super Mario Maker is being underestimated and I believe it's going to sell boatloads and will be Nintendo's selling point and cash cow this holiday season. Don't forget all the awesome indie games coming out too.

Re: Talking Point: Why Does Investor Confidence in Nintendo Continue to Dip Under Tatsumi Kimishima?

capitalism

Nintendo has Splatoon, Mario Maker, Yoshi's Woolly World, Fatal Frame, Mario Tennis, Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival, Xenoblade, and Devils Third going into the holidays but half of you guys on here are saying Nintendo doesn't have anything for the holidays? I know some people are pissed about the star fox and zelda delays but saying Nintendo has nothing for the holidays is hilarious. Complain all you want kiddos while i enjoy a bunch of Nintendo goodness in the coming months.

Re: Star Fox Zero Marks An Explosive Return To Form On Wii U

capitalism

Well the trolls are out in full force on Nintendo sites trying to convince us this game is weak so therefore it looks badass and they"re definitely pissed about it. Love the on ground gameplay and the tank looks dope. You can really tell platinum is involved and that's a good thing. Graphics look great to me so each his own. Anybody else notice most of the bad comments have come from people I've never seen on this site before?
