Mekazoo is a title we've had our eye on for some time; developed by The Good Mood Creators, it blends slick visuals with platforming and animal transformations. It certainly brings to mind some classics such as the Donkey Kong Country titles (old and new), while also having its own sense of style.
In any case it's due on the Wii U later this year, and PC owners now have the chance to sign up for a closed Beta to put the game through its paces. Those that actively engage with the beta will then get a free copy of the final game, which is certainly a decent incentive while also helping the developers improve it prior to release.
Those that have a PC and want to take part can sign up on the official website.
You can see a relatively recent trailer for this below, and we had a chat with the studio's James Hoag last year. Are you looking forward to this one on Wii U?

I forgot about this game. Well we haven't seen too much of it in fairness. But it has the potential to be a quality game.
A cross between DKC and Space Station Silicon Valley... Could be interesting.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE I forgot about it too. Now I remember
I somehow doubt my computer will have the power to run the game, but I can darn well try! Looking forward to this one!
Are you positive this game is still coming to Wii U? Because that trailer didn't have Wii U as a listed platform and well, it's pretty hard to be optimistic about new Wii U games...
Interesting. I haven't heard of this one before, but it's on my radar now.
Thanks for all the encouraging feedback, y'all! We are going to be releasing on WiiU, so don't fret. We couldn't imagine Mekazoo launching without it being on Nintendo systems.
You'll be hearing a lot more from us soon as we start gearing up for launch.
Thanks again and can't wait to have you all in the Beta!

Looking great guys, I might have to sign up for the beta.
This has been one of my most anticipated games for a while.
It's got a kangaroo in it, I just so happen to be a kangaroo myself, so this is something i'll have to keep a eye on, and the console of choice i'll most most likely to hop for when I rev up the game will be Wii U!
Looks great, seems to fit right at home on Nintendo platforms.
Is the animal/character switching context sensitive? Or change whenever you want to?
